*Griffin would almost sneer at Twilight, then his eyes would suddenly seem humorous, as if laughing at a private joke. Griffin doesn’t extend his hand and merely smiles his million dollar smile.* And you haven’t changed that much either, since you haven’t learned the protocol for talking to someone of my status. You may have spoken casually with my mother in the past but our family doesn’t wear these symbols for fun. *Bell seems to smile apologetically but she doesn’t speak up. Of course Twilight was one of high acclaim but he had no printed status to speak of.*

Twi refrained from any thoughts of telling Griffin that, as far as bloodline went, his own authority was above Griffin's. Of course, that position was for operation purposes as opposed to Griffin's being hereditary. "Right, right..... Sorry but my brown nosing needs work, but don't I at least get some slack for trying to keep your family out of trouble on at least two occasions" with a chuckle, Twi decided not to make his response any more informal. He was referring first to Bell's berserked assault on the citadel and second on her capture by Truinthil, the latter not being quite so successful. "No offense; I know quite well you've done more than anyone else your age has." Twi then turned to Bell with the same smile. "But, in all truthfulness, I guess I have to wonder how much coffee his lordship takes during a slow day, eh?" It was a light-hearted rhetorical question to lift the mood a bit.

"Hmm?" KB questioned, before shrugging to the pair. "I'll go get you a drink Kai, you stay right here, kay?" KB asked, though he wasn't really hinging on her answer. "Two seconds." He promised as he held up two fingers, flashing Kai and Nana a peace sign of sorts before backstepping towards the nearby buffet. Glancing at the nearby punch bowl he shrugged, and then weaved through the small crowd towards the front where the doormen were likely lounging. Once there, KB would make yet another impromtu dropby.
"Heeeeey!, sleeping on the job?!" He'd ask teasingly, before chuckling in spite of himself. "Just teasing. I was wondering if you guys knew where I could fetch a drink, of the lifey sort. Not the type of thing I like to ask the staff, they get sort of restless." KB nodded, of course ready to explain himself, though he hoped they'd understand. The Count seemed reasonable enough to make preparations for many different races, not that the drink KB was lookng for would sit well in the open. Either fresh or chilled would be best, and though KB loathed to force such an unsavory habit on Kaiori, he was prepared to take one for the team.

Tegral's eyes never left Sairys' body, and when Ka'rinth approached neither Tegral nor his two guards seemed to pay the man any mind any longer. "No," The Admiral stated very simply, hefting his glass up for the strange being to see, "I have a drink, thank you. I'll summon some refreshments when I want them." And as simple as that the Admiral dismissed the man with a flick of the wrist, opting to keep his attention on the woman before him. Sai, whether she knew it or not, could prove to be a valuable asset when he needed her, if he needed her would have been more appropriate to say.

Baptistain would be the first to respond to KB. "...and uh... to what exaclty would you be refering?" What was it KB was after? Lively? That could be-- many things really. Bertuicco would eye over KB as well in question, and would wait for a response before he could answer.

"I -think- one of the guests might have a batty sense of taste, and not for fruit either." KB teased, before explaining his dilemna a bit further. "I don't think it really has to be iced as wine or alive or anything. Just a glass maybe to ease things, like a ceaser! But. Er... bloodier? Ironic really, given Ceasar's unfortunate end..." KB trailed off, before blinking a few times. "I didn't expect The Count to forsee such a problem, so I thought I'd ask you guys."

"Hah hah!" A boistrous laugh would be heard coming from Bertuicco. So KB was after blood? Maybe they could put something together from the kitchen and....... dress it up like a ceaser? Ironic indeed, a true bloody ceaser, complete with salted rip and celery stalk. "Yeah, I think we can work something out. We'll-- have it delivered." Baptistain would reasure KB that the staff could easily find him and bring him his bloody ceaser. If he wanted more of course, all he had to do was ask. Making the guests feel comfortable was a big part of the evening after all.

Ka'rinth smiled calmly at Tegral before turning and moving back to his waiting position, as he did he pulled his hood back over his face and returned to what for him was a more normal form. Hidden by the cloak his body altered once more and again the odd pulses of electro magnetic energy consumed his body causing a disruption to electronic surveillences. His eyes began glowing as he allowed the complex series of eyelids and filters to relax revealing a truer form of his eyes. Ka'rinth tapped his foot softly as he waited for the arrival of this individual, he was a patient man and he was eager to see how his surprise gift would be received. It was a simple matter for them to say no weapons, but his gift would be far from what could be considered such though it was certainly explosive in it's own right. As he awaited the arrival of the main attraction he allowed his left eye to wander around the room, pausing briefly on the man who was still leaning in the corner coughing blood. It seemed to his expert eye that Ratsu's blood pressure was rising sharply. His smile was soft as he continued his waiting and took a small packet of seeds from his glove and began chewing on them one by one. The perception of a weapon was simply in the mind of the wielder or potential wielder.

"Perfect. I'll just be mingling then..." KB answered with a nod, before casting a wary glance to the festivities. It was a bit daunting to try and bee so civil to some people, especially given his unique outlook. He would take a moment to right his uniform, making sure all was well on the red outfit. Satisfied with it, KB would return to Kaiori and Nana, hoping that his brief couple of minutes spent on the errand would've given them time to either toss in a few words or at least start a conversation...

*While KB was gone, Nana had attempted to speak with Kaiori if only a little. Small talk was all Nana could muster at the moment. There was an obvious similarity in appearance between Kai, Griffin and Bell. That plus the display from earlier was more than enough to link the three as family*
So-- those are your children? Its nice to see you again, you seem.... taller than the last time. sweatdrop Have you been well? What have you been up to with yourself since we first met?

*Kaiori nods with a sad smile.* Yes, I’m quiet proud of them. I’ve been rather busy since we last met, between the children and other things. *Kaiori was no woman of mystery but almost everything about her fell under the category of things not suitable to say in a small talk conversation. Glancing back at Nana she smiles again.* How about yourself?
*Griffin sighs tugging his sister in the direction of Sai, women were far better conversation and far less trouble in his book. He momentarily wonders if his father is ever going to make an entrance or if he was still at home, fuming mad.*

Nnn. I have three myself, two sons and a daughter. They're only about two and a half years old though. I've been playing teacher for them, I'm glad they find learning to be-- fun.
*Nana couldn't tell how old Griffin and Bell really were, and now Kai knew that Mastma had not one, but three children with Nana. The boy she had met that horrible day was the eldest of the three, that being he was born first. He wasn't even a year old at the time either, when their eyes first met. Still, Nana seems chipper about their progress, clearly not as quick as Kai's children but still chipper none the less*
Hnn hnn~ Though I suppose you could say I have four children really.
*Nana would glance over to Thanatos, he was a third son Nana had accepted into her small tight knit family, and she was happy to have him there. Well-- small family 'in the citadel'*

"No respect at all," Twi sighed, disappointed with Griffin's conversational endurance. When that kid learns, he thought, Griffin was in for a real smack in the face. Too bad Kai wasn't one for corporal punishment or a firm hand.
Karinth would pretty soon feel a tap on his shoulder. When he turned, he would find a one eyed, blind man looking right at him. Than's blindness wasn't a problem when someone was being as obviously conspicuous as Karinth. "Pardon me; I don't know what you're doing, but if you don't stop I'm afraid I might have to ask that you be escorted out. Your little stunts are disturbing my left arm. So if you'd stop begging for attention as you seem to be doing, we'll both enjoy the party a lot more." It definitely wasn't a cordial cease and desist request. Than would more than happily go a step further if Ka'rinth continued.

Teaching is very important. I only taught my children music unfortunately, the rest was royal training Apollo insisted upon.*Kaiori nods to Nana slowly. She liked the woman well enough but would probably never understand her. Sighing she looks to her son, who, as she had guessed, was avoiding most people in the room. She knew Griffin liked only a chosen few people in this world, but she had always hoped to crack him open. Perhaps getting him hitched wasn’t a bad idea.*
*Griffin sends a daring glare at Twilight, being demon he had heard the man’s smart…no make that stupid remark. Sure he was being rude, but god dammit that guy was one son of b***h a**-hole straight outta hell itself. He was never around when needed and yet claimed to be such a great leader. He claimed to be so prudent and yet he did nothing to fix the BC. Hell the man hasn’t done anything in years, so Griffin had no need to make friends with those who’d probably just fall off the map again. Bell looks blissfully oblivious as always and pats her brother’s tensing shoulders.*

Apollo? Ah-- your husband? Hnn music... I should teach my children to sing. Well... at least a couple of them.
^//^;
*Micha of course didn't speak at all, so what chances were there of him singing really? Still the tones, music, lyrics, all the combinations that go into music, Nana could teach them. Griffin liked only a chosen few? Would Nana be graded by him? It was hard to say really. If Griffin knew Nana was Mastema's wife, he might avoid her simply because of it, though it appeared she and his mother were getting along just fine*
