Malik took a few quick steps so that he was in front of Rei, and then grabbed her chin, tilting her head up. He examined the mark, and narrowed his eyes. He was trying as hard as he could to keep himself calm most of the time, and stayed with Ishizu so he wouldn't fall back to his old habits. He let go of Rei and walked away, going over to Bakura, who had stayed where he was.

Rei squeeked when she was sudenly grabd but still said nothing.Once she was let go she quickly hurried away.

Malik went over to Bakura, not too sure what he was planning on doing. Scold the 3000-year-old yami for disliking a mortal? Yeah, this was going to be a little tough. But then again, Bakura had been so easy to play with during Battle City. Said 3000-year-old yami was currently leaning against a street light, looking bored, his arms crossed. The red thing that Rei had before was draped over one of his shoulders. "You can't just be like that. She told me that--" Malik was saying, but was cut off with a sharp look.
"Look, I don't care about the mortals. She's got the nerve to act as though I know her, when I don't have a clue. And I don't want to know her. She called me some ******** nickname, and kissed my nose. You think I'm just going to sit there and let her do stuff like that?" Bakura wasn't in the best of moods, and he rolled his eyes. "Why do yo care all of a sudden about strangers, anyways, Malik?"

Soon after a long while of walking Rei stoped at a bridge overlooking water.She leaned on the railing looking blankly down at the water and started to sing softly.

"Doesn't mean you just get to hit someone!" Malik snapped, ignoring Bakura's last comment. "You aren't allowed to just hurt people for a stupid reason!"
"I seem to recall you hurting a certain hikari because you wanted to make a good impression on the pharaoh and his friends." Bakura responded quickly, not angry, just entertained by Malik's responses.

After singing sombody threw a fifty dollar bill at her head.She raised an eyebrow but put the money in her pocket and continued to look over the bridge.

The bell rang, and Yugi was feeling a bit worried. Bakura hadn't shown up, and he could tell that his yami was concerned because of how the ring's spirit was acting earlier. They decided to stop by Bakura's house and see what was going on. They had to take another route, though, because Bakura lived away from the game shop. Yugi was going across a bridge when he saw that girl from before.

Yugi sighed, stopping. "It's not my fault that I'm short. Unlike how its your fault you're a--" He was cut off as Atem quickly took control to stop his hikari from finishing that sentence.

"Does it honestly matter if I don't know my name at the moment? It will probably play an important key later. It's best that I don't know it." Atem frowned. "But you have been there, right? To ancient Egypt? And judging by how you act with the ring spirit and towards me, I'd say that you disliked me simply because of my position, and not that much about what I had done. Or even what some of my people had done to you."

"Some people may think that..." Atem said, sighing, wishing like hell he could know what happened in ancient Egypt. He glanced up at two figures approached, and narrowed his eyes. "I don't think it's a good idea for you two to be near each other, after what happened before..." "Oh, shut up, pharaoh." Bakura said softly, a lack of emotion on his face as he ignored Rei. "Malik followed me. I didn't ask for this."

"Why are you in control?" Atem asked, his eyes cold as then slanted downward slightly, it seemed. He was tensed, it was obvious he didn't trust Bakura or Malik. "I'm not going to duel you or anything; Yugi has to get home. Doesn't Bakura have something to do?" "I don't want a fight, dear pharaoh." Bakura said, mocking Atem softly. "Besides, Ryou hardly has anywhere to go. Especially without homework to keep him occupied. But you should know that I don't care if my host has anything to do. I give him so much freedom as it is, I deserve these times when I just want to be in control to be in control." Atem snorted, relaxing slightly but still on guard. "Freedom? Hardly. You can't fool any of us, you know."
