Nah, it's not my parents tag-teaming against me. My dad is being really helpful and understanding right now, because he knows my tendencies--we've already gone through the fighting stage. I've been spending a lot of time with him, so it's so much better than her. And honestly, I really don't mind. I do still love my mum, so if she's ignoring me this far, then she probably doesn't care anymore. And if she doesn't, it's one more thing off her back. She has to be there to take care of my brother, so I don't want her to die an early death of stress.
I'm staying because I love my dad and brother to bits, but I can't stand her. After I graduate, though, I'm definitely going halfway or completely across the U.S. to go to the Univ. of Illinois or U-Penn.

Whatever your choice is, make sure it's for yourself, too. Don't wholly base your decisions on oters.. Even if it seems that that seems better. In the end it's your life.
Moving out is a big thing. Sure, it's exciting - new beginnings and stuff, but you gotta be careful, too. Make plans. Have back-up ones. Otherwise you'll end up like me. wink

I think if I get closer to my dad, it'll be all right for me. We've always been together. He's the guy that carried me home ten miles from the hospital because he was afraid my mum would drop me or I'd end up on the side of the road if he went in a car. So, we're like "X" to each other. [Imagine crossed fingers, not an "X"...]
One of the top fifty universities that has my major is about an hour north of me with traffic, so that's a safety university for me. I'm planning to try to reach for Pennsylvania, but the place I'm likely to go to is to stay in Washington or move out to Illinois, since that's my home state anyway.
Now, do you know American geography well enough to know where I'm talking about...? XD

Oh, you want to go to Penn State? That's like... a three hour drive from where I live.
I know how you're feeling lately, Chaos. To be frank, it's not fun at all...

Werll, it could be better like.. But I'm happy enough. I get restless with all the moving and changes, but it's just part of my life now.
I guess staying "X" with your dad is a good move. He seems like a good person, to me. From how you've described him, anywho. He could take care of some things for you. My parents cut me off completely, financially and otherwise.. So have neither.
Isn't it funny that all three of us have this same issue? xD
And I haven't a clue of what you're on about.. Only states I know are California, New Mexico and Oregon. The only ones I lived in, anyway. xd

Since my insomnia kept me up all night, I have to stay awake through the day and start sleeping again this evening, to get my cycle back in order. It's well annoying, because it's only 17:17 {!} now.
