Tengitsune "I should've watched him...made sure he didn't leave. I should've..." Richard never finished his sentence, the sobs choking his words. His body shook as he cried into his hands, not caring about anything else that was going on, the image of Dom's blank face burned behind his eyelids.
"If he wanted....if he wanted to do something like this, i doubt any of us could have stopped him," she mumbled, into his ear. As she spoke she started to rock unconciously, as if he were a small child. Her own tears had dried on her cheeks, though her grey eyes were still full of sadness. From down the street sirens could be heard, and eventually she registered the two men walking past them into the house.

A smile and a blush spread across Rosalee's face as Jesper's last statement and placed a hand on his cheek. "I hope you're willing ot let me introduce you two under better circumstances..."

Richard pulled his hands away from his face to return the hug to Violet, burying his face against her shoulder as he wept openly, allowing his body to rock with her own.
What am I supposed to do with my life now?
After seeing something like that, nothing seemed siginificant now.

Violet held Richard tighter, her face exspressionless. Continuing to rock him gently she stared of into space, her head filled with a scary picture. She just replayed what she thought Dom had gone through, driving home with the gun. Shuddering a little she looked up to see the ambulance driver waiting paitently at the side. Not pulling away from Richard she looked up. Her voice a little hoarse she asked,
"What happens now?" the man just sighed adn began to explain that they would take Dom to the hospital and they would have to follow later to confirm details. Violet nodded, calmly taking in the imfomation.

Long after the ambulance had gone with Dom's body, Richard still sat there, pressed against Violet, his eyes red and swollen from all the crying.
"What now...?" he mumbled to her.

Violet sighed, resting her chin gently on teh top of his head.
"Well, once you feel ready i guess we call the others adn tell them what happened, then we all go to the hospital to fill out the forms," she replied softly. She felt guilty, the feeling writhing in her stomach. How was it that Richard could let out his emotion, and she could barely cry for the loss of her friend. Sighing again she pressed a kiss to the top of Richards head.
"We'll sort it out, i promise," she soothed, gently, almost mother-like.

"...forms...for what, Vioet? To verify he's dead?" Richard raised his voice a bit as it filled with anger. "Maybe it's best you go to the hospital without me. I hate hospitals and I don't..." He stopped, and took a deep breath. "I just don't want to go there..."

Violet explained a little more,
"I think so, also its so we can....we can bury his body," looking uncomfortable she added,
"Are you sure? I don't want to leave you on your own," Still keeping one arm around him she used her other to run her hand through her long hair, like she always did when she was nervous. After a moment she muttered,
"If you don't want to go i understand but...please don't be alone. Let me call one of the others or something,"

"No...I just need a swim at the beach. It'll calm me down a bit..." Richard placed one shaky hand on Violet's, the one that was still around him. "You don't have to worry. I'm not going to do anything to myself, I promise..." He rubbed at his eyes a bit, as they felt a bit scratchy from all the crying. "I'll take my car so you can find me easily..."

Violet nodded slowly, squeezing his hand.
"Alright. I trust you," she replied softly then stood. with a determined exspression she went and slowly closed the door to Dom's house, feeling like she was shutting the door on his life. Turning back to Richard she muttered,
"I'll call as soon as possible...if you see the others..." she trailed off, unsure what to say. In the end she gave Richard another quick hug before making her way to her fathers car and driving away. All the while watching him through the mirror of the car.

"Maybe, but if he does that again." Jesper said. He sounded definite. He walked her down ot the cafe liek that and pulled his spare key. opening the door, he sat her down in abooth and lay on th efloor next to her.

"He wouldn't. He's not like that. I'm sure when you see him next, he'll be cryin' and apologisin' to me for a whole week," Rosalee said with a smile, her icepack now half-melted. "C'mon, don't sit on the floor." She patted the booth seat beside her.

Richard sat for a few more minutes before getting into his car and slowly driving to the beach. His mind was somewhere else completely as he finally skidded on the sand and then shut off the car. He leaned his hands on the steering wheel, staring out at the ocean and wondering how far Violet had gone.

Violet drove to the hospital, ignoring the texts she was now recieving from her father. Entering the hospital she was directed to a man who was wearing a white coat, a look of false sympathy on his face. Violet scowled at him, and he quickly handed over the forms for her to sign, telling her everything she needed. When she was asked what her relationship was with Dom she sighed and mumbled softly,
"Friends, used to be more but..." her voice fading a little.
Once everything had been taken care of Violet started back to the car, stopping on the way to pick up a very strong coffee. Worrying about Richard she pulled out her phone and text him from the carpark.
'Everythings being taken care of, where are you?'

"At the beach, where I said I'd be," Richard replied, his voice completely devoid of emotion. "Close to that pier you found me at yesterday. I'm going to go for a quick swim." Before waiting to say goodbye, he hung up and tossed his phone onto the passenger seat, stripped off his shirt and pants and started running towards the ocean.
