Sweet! *high fives as well, but misses* Awww... D: Haha, once a friend of mine and I were talking about how both of us have really dexterous characters in Dungeons and Dragons, but neither of us are at all dexterous in real life, then we're like, "Whoo! We're awesome for having that in common! High five!" type dealie and... we both missed... our hands just flew past each other. XD It was so ironic. Yes, I do feel that TAS has become less sardonic, which was really unique and amusing about it compared to a lot of parodies. D:

Hahaha, epic high five miss! I'm also not as dexterous as I'd like to be, I mean I don't recall ever missing something like a high five (unless it was on purpose), but yea, anything that requires fingers...oye vie ~_~.
So yes, in most things that involve me in an imaginative state I make myself dexterous as well ^_~.

Seriously. XD I love how dexterous people can do the things they do though, so I have always had a preference for high dexterity character classes, like rogues and rangers.

Yea, dexterity would allow me to be a much better musician as well. Had I realized my limitations when I was 10 I probably would have gone with brass rather than a woodwind. Actually, given my personality and tastes, I wish I'd gone with brass anyhow. But the elementary school I was at - which was in a different school district then where I ended up for 7th on - was more knowledgeable in terms of strings and winds (granted they weren't really knowledgeable in anything, Hayward district - not known for it's musical acclaim. However brass was nonexistent practically, most kids who picked up a brass instrument had a family member behind that, not the school), and strings do not sound pretty when you are learning how to play, not at all.
Oh well, I'll learn to play the trumpet one day, it's on my list. Along with the piano and the harp (string instruments that actually don't sound God awful if you don't know how to play them...^_^).

Haha, I'm not musically inclined in the least, though I think I type well enough and play enough video games to have decent hand dexterity. XD But if I were to get into music at all, most likely be drums, since that's more about following a beat than playing notes.

Hmm...tempo is definitely my weak point, so I don't think percussion particularly appeals to me, hahaha. I can play games well enough and I can type, though sometimes the latter gets painful after a significant period of time (though that's more the slight carpal tunnel than a dexterity issue). Lately haven't been writing enough for that to be a problem, though such the shame. I need to write more.
Not tonight though, I'm really tired, I went to this nifty Egyptian museum in San Jose today though. It was really beautiful and a lot of the stuff was rather fascinating. Though now I'm extremely irritated with the Roman Empire, Veidt you are a fool for thinking them a high example of anything! Err...wrong thread...granted not that there is exactly a "right" thread to be talking about Watchmen in a YGO guild, hehehehe sweatdrop . However I'll probably go to bed after I post this and so I won't get to that wrong thread until tomorrow.
Also, the middle school across the street from the museum, GORGEOUS! Most of the buildings on my college campus weren't so architecturally stunning, I am quite jealous.

I tried drumming years ago.
It sort of went like this:
BangBang BangBangBang BangBANG BANG BANGBANG BANGBANG BANGBANGBANGAAAAAAAAAAAH -Blind panic-
And since I started inhaling tar for fun, I can't even sing any more. So music now officially sucks.
Roman Empire? I never want to hear of it again. Stupid uni work.

Well I'm ticked off enough with that empire which shall not be named at the moment to indulge that request. Well I'll try, forgive me if I throw out a few more jibes and mutters here and there razz
Yea, swimming and band were good motivators to not inhale tar for any reason. As I hope to eventually stop being lazy and join a community band, and over half my jobs require me to be able to swim well (and yell endlessly at others until they swim well), that would be too problematic for me indeed.
I like the image of blind panic though, I sadly don't have very many percussion friends. The few who went into it either quit a long time ago, or switched elsewhere (or only played for marching, as you can't march very well with say a bassoon or a french horn - and the schools who did it are WRONG!! BAD BAD BAD!).

@JK: Only thing I don't like about drumming is the blisters, but then again, there's other ways to drum besides with sticks. XD Either way, it will never be anything more than just something to occasionally do for fun. Haha, and thus begins Watchmen's steady takeover of Kage no Gensou!
@Morgey: Sounds like an interesting drumming experience. XD Did you start with a specific beat pattern to follow. No tar for me either. That combined with asthma would send me to the emergency room. Mmm... Blind Panic actually sounds like a good name for a band. XD

Oh noes!!! The Watchmen are everywhere!! Hahaha, actually it's funny, because the reason I was even thinking about bringing up Watchmen in relation to what I had just been learning about Egypt and the Greco-Roman empires, was because when leaving I saw a girl in a hoodie with the: Who watches the Watchmen? slogan on back. Actually it was a pretty cute hoodie. I hate blisters, not too big of an issue with the flute, though I know I used to do some activity that gave me blisters. Now for the life of me I can't remember what it was...huh. Probably wasn't an organized activity, or else I'd remember. Blind Panic, the band: http://www.myspace.com/blindpanicbandHaha...didn't listen to any of their songs, not sure that I will, but it IS a good name for a band, and thus I couldn't imagine there wasn't even a local/indie/labeless band out there using the name. And indeed, upon an almost 0 effort search, I got a hit...^_^. I believe they classify as "thrash metal."

And it's a big waste of money as well. =[Kitsune Ketz Kwineight @Morgey: Sounds like an interesting drumming experience. XD Did you start with a specific beat pattern to follow. No tar for me either. And my friend tried to teach me guitar and I ended up getting smacked in the face with the guitar. It was not a productive week.
My housemate last semester had asthma as well. It was very sad for me because it meant I had to go outside. So inconsiderate of her.

I'm working at a continuation HS today...really need to get back now actually, anyhow there is a flier up in the office for 14 - 18 year old volunteers who want to quit smoking (it's a study group deal), if under 18 must have parents permission. It just amused me, first in that they are asking 14 - 17 year olds to (a) admit they do something that is illegal and (b) admit it to their parents?
Btw, monkey bars, that's how I use to get blisters. I lived on those things until I was about 11 and no problems, I went back in high school and got blisters like crazy, damn desensitization in just 2-3 years. Wasn't worth giving up a newly discovered love though...in fact...I should go rediscover that love again!

Hahaha, the blisters thing was too Kits, because she had talked about blisters and drumming I said I hated them but couldn't remember how I used to get them (because the nice thing about swimming is other than a dislocated shoulder or popped knee there aren't really many physical hardships of the sport...^_~).
And yikes, 11? Geez. I mean my dad started drinking when he was 10, in theory that maybe sounds worse...however as I like to drink and I don't like to smoke I'll have to say your sister wins ^_^.
