Glory was snapped out of her negative thoughts. She looked up to see Ran's worried expression and the tea. She gave a small weak smile and took the hot tea, placing it in front of her. She thought for a moment on what to say to Ra's question. "..I'm ok...it's just....I'm worried about Franki is all...." she replied sounding very sadden by the events and her tone soft.

*Ran sighed and sat down next to her, placing his cup on the table* Yeah I know. We're all worried about her but I'm sure she'll be fine. Besides, Franki is a tough girl. She won't let something like this get her down. *He smiled warmly and looked at Glory* Don't you think?

Glory just stared at her tea. Not saying anything in reply to Ran. Her expression blank. He mind on how why didn't sense what was wrong with Franki. Doubting her cardcaptor abilities. Questioning why she was choosen for light...when obvious she at this moment didn't deserve it.

*Ran's expression and mood dropped as he watched Glory sit silently. This wasn't like her at all and it kind of made him sad* Hey now... *Ran placed his hand on her cheek and turned her so that they faced each other* Don't be like that. The only thing we can do for her is stay positive. It's not anybody's fault that this happened. It's just...one of those things. So just smile a bit and try to relax, okay? *Ran gave a small reassuring smile to Glory, trying to offer her as much comfort as possible*

Glory looked at Ran...she listened to his words and knew he was right. But then again he was wrong. Glory continued to mentally blame herself for Franki's position. As she did, she tried to smile like Ran had suggested but....her attempts were in vain..she couldn't hold it in anymore. Slowly her eyes watered then began to fall like rain drops on her face.

Hey now.. *Ran leaned over and hugged her, trying to keep her from crying. It seemed like Glory just needed to release for a bit, and Ran figured that there wasn't anything that he could do, except let her* Go ahead and cry if you'd like. I don't mind... stare

Glory cried on Ran's shoulder as he hugged her. She let the tears of frustration, anger and sorrow come out. As she cried she mummbled how it was her fault that Franki was in the hospital.

*Ran merely held her as she cried. There wasn't much else that he could do, so he just sat there and looked out the window at the pouring. He felt Glory's tears seep into his shirt and wondered which was heavier, the rain or her crying. What else could he do right now? There had to be something*

Glory contiued to cry for the next minute or so. She slowly stopped crying, still leaning on Ran's shoulder. "...I'm *hic, sniff* sorry *sniff*." she wispered, huggin Ran back.

For what? *He looked down at her, and ran one hand through her hair. He didn't see any reason for her to apologize. Of course, he couldn't know what she was really thinking inside either* You don't have to apologize for anything.

Glory's face had tear stained marks on her cheeks and her eyes were a tad bit red from the crying. She looked up to Ran as he ran his hand threw her hair. "..but *hic* it's my fault....I should have *sniff* sensed something was wrong.....*hic*...it's all my *hic* fault." she sounded like she would cry again.

*Ran sighed heavily. This girl sure was hard on herself* Listen, nobody saw this coming. We're just people, not mind readers! *Ran held Glory tightly by her shoulders, looking straight into her eyes. She was being too hard on herself, and she needed to know that* Don't blame yourself because it's not your fault! Even if you did know, what would you do?! Tell her not to pass out?! *Ran's tone grew heavy and he felt that he might begin to scare her, but then again, maybe it was what she needed to snap out of it*

Glory could fell her tears once again fall on her face. Ran was starting to scare her but she was also getting frustrated. She was light and Franki was dark, meaning she should have meaning been able to sense Franki was wrong before Franki barely clinging to life. "...don't you get it? I'm light and she's dark. We're supposed to sense one another, meaning I should have been able to sense something was wrong! Something that made Franki clinging to life in the hospital right now!......" Glory's voice began to get louder and more tears began to fall. "....*sniff*..I should've been able too.....*sniff*..but I didn't....it's my fault..." her tone went back down to being soft as she spoke those words.

Eh... *Ran leaned back, a sense of unexpectance on his face. He had no idea that they were psychically connected like that. But why? Maybe so they could help each other? That was good in a way, but it would make getting their cards difficult later on* It's not your fault Glory. Even if you did sense that something was wrong, what you have done? Tell her not to go unconscious? Force her body to stay strong? Don't be so hard on yourself.

Glory continued to cry her head was down, to hide her tears even though she knew it was no use. She sobbed silently.
