She asked "with a chocolate and strawberry cake?" She gave a slight nod. "Yeah, an' I should prob'ly stay in the bus with you, it's safer from all those roadrage blokes I was noticin." She gave a quick shudder and sat down. Her mind wandered to Bobby and the words he was about to say, but she wasn't sure she wanted to know what it was, so she turned her thoughts back to one of the objects dangling from the bus' mirror. ((She knows what he was saying...because he's said it before))

((But she's acknowledged his feelings, and told him that she doesn't feel the same way about him...)) ((but hearing him say it is a whole different thing, it makes the whole situation far more of a reality, and Ruby prefers to ignore it--like anything else that can be too difficult for her to grapple with.))

She foot was gone before he could have blinked, and as she pressed the button to release the inhibitor (she wanted to fight him when he was a super, because otherwise is cheating) her own power kicked back in and that same foot got him in the stomach. It hurt some, trust me. Anc doubled over, quickly recovering, reaching out faster than his size belied, snatching the smaller woman up by her shirt, dangling her at arm's reach, well away from where she could cause him damage.

Verve thought for a quick second, then looked for the redhead that had scratched him earlier. "It's fine. It'll heal." He held no grudge, he hurt a few people himself while under the curse/poison/whatever it was.

Anc weathered the kick well, falling onto the smallr woman, while simultanously cursing her, her cousin, her mother, her cat, her dog, her gerbil and her unborn daughter ((Even though she isn't pregnate)) and thier sexual habits.

"AUGUAIJAIRHA!!!" Came A.C.'s muffled scream. Having a thousand pounds of alien suddenly drop on you when he was supposed to fall the other way is not a very pleasant experience. This is NOT my day. How do I GET HIM OFF!? she thought desperately. Attempting to at least get some leverage to breathe before she asphyxiated, she struggled as best she could, hitting and kicking to get him to move.

This time, as he rolled, he grabbed her by the head instead of the shirt, struggling to get to his feet.
