"Indeed...I am kind to woman unless I am fighting them, then they are just like any other opponent. I apologise for the rude comment m'lady"
He stretched a bit.
"Its getting late, I think I will be off for tonight if you two don't mind?"

Ami smirked, and nodded her assent when Shin asked to be excused, and turned to the other man.
I'd know more about this guild. What are the usualy things they require?

"That would depend on the task. It could be anything to the very minial tasks to the Catastrophic Quests that affect the world. It would depend upon your personal abilities and whether or not they trust you with a task. As for me..."
His head lowered for a moment. He closed his eyes as a cold smile went across his face.
"I have other things to worry about before I acccept quests from them..."

Shin bowed slightly and then walked slowly off and away from the two. He was tired and decided to rest up a bit.

Ami sniffed about a bit, her cat's nose distinctly noticing another animal. She decided soon she'd wander off to investigate this smell, but for now her current companion interested her.
"I'm glad for any employment. I'd be a good hunter and tracker if ever one needed my services.

Tomorrow John cuddled Juuni to him as he stood, looking over to Amber with a small smile as he cocked his head over to Mere. "This guy was the one who got me out of jail, sweetheart. Name's Mere. Henry Mere. He's...well, i suppose government agent is the closest i could get without any real information to be based on." He looked over at Mere pointedly, before hefting Juuni in his arms a little, cuddling her again before placing her on the ground and patting her head.... Standing, he placed a hand on Amber's shoulder, smiling to her as he spoke. "Mere, meet my fiance and partner, Amber. She's an expert on runeology. She'll be tagging along."He didn't ask. He said he was allowed any equipment he wanted - and whilst Amber didn't fall into the specific catagory of 'equipment', the two men never really did specifiy what equipment there were allowed to bring. Thinking of it now, perhaps John should have taken the bazooka...before dismissing the idea as foolish. He wasn't that stupid. Henry made a slight bow to the woman, accepting the decision of the man almost ridiculously easily. "Greetings Amber." Purely Jayney Amber blinked at John before turning back to look at Mere, her eyes narrowing slightly as she sniffed the air again, one hand still placed subconsciously upon her stomach.
She cocked her head to the side and smiled briefly.
"Well then Mr. Mere, it would appear that I have a lot to thank you for..." Deep blue eyes smiled at her, though the expression on his face was serious. "No thanks needed, and please, call me Henry, unless that makes you uncomfortable." He shrugged and then turned back to Tomorrow. "We'll need to head out towards the mountains, know the way? We'll probably skirt orc territory by taking the travel route through the forest." Suddenly he laughed sardonically. "Well, I say travel route, but really it's not anything of the sort. Just an old game trail I use from time to time. Are you ready?" Looking him over, Henry was hard pressed to see anything about the taller man that wasn't prepared for a world war, let alone a bit of a hike.

A day or so after Dante had begun his arangement of the froge he had pretty much gotten it to his satisfaction. This is nto to say hed worked all through the night without rest, he was not afterall so sort of superhuman machine, and rest, and plenty of snacks had interrupted his work, being both a blessing and a curse as it allowed him to purchase other small items with which to complete the forge to the best of his ability.
One of more unusual items dante purchased was a block of grantie, which dante had then promptly cut a shallow groove in its top surface just wide enough for most swords to fit in, and only deep enough for the edge of the blade to rest in the groove, but none the less dane set it in a palce of honor next tot he anvil, and continued on with his work.
His back up tools, and various other stock materialswere still at levkit, in Faes garage, a place he wasnt entirely sure if it was safe to return to.

He replied without raising his head.
"I don't know anything else about it. You' probably have to go check the board itself. I haven't looked at it in a while..."
Silver let out a slight yawn. He hasn't sleept in days; he was absorbed in his research. Which surprized him in a way since this is the first time he's really done any research. At least on this plane of existance.

Ami's instincts itched to investigate the strange smell, but her human side won out in like of her companion. She smiled at him wanly, showing how exhausted and hungry she was with every gesture. She determinedly made her way to the now thickening crowd to view the catastrophic scene ahead*
"Destruction seems to haunt this place.

Silver scowled slightly.
"No kidding. There was probably a fight in the streets..."
He looked up for a moment and smiled to himself. He was stopped by the shield when he and Ryugi decided to have a spar in the middle of the street. After breaking apart bits of pavment and making a considerable frackture in a stone wall, the authorities had "asked" them to cease fighting. Silver was hardly one to complain...
"You seem a bit... famished."

Ami blushed as her dissheveled state came to light. She hated to appear so gaunt and ugly in front of good company.
"Err...I am just a bit. I've been on the road for weeks.

Her eyes grew wide with gratitude, as she stared up at the generous man beside her.
People are so KIND in this town.
"Yes. I'd greatly appreciate that Silver. Thank you.

It had been a long, fruitless day of hard playing, and still the street performer's stomach growled at him for neglecting it so. Like an angry animal clawing at his insides, his hungry tummy writhed and twisted in upon itself in an attempt to discover some nonexistant food. And none of these damned Lantians seemed to be in any hurry to kick him a little grub, even though he was kind enough to play them only the best of music from sun-up to sun-down. The only coin that he had recieved had been stolen from him by a beast of a man one night when he was sleeping in the gutter; more like traded actually, since the musician was now the prowd owner his very own, shiny black eye.
So, feeling rather dark and moody, he now sat with his back to a wall in a shadowy little alcove by the street, his features and limbs obscured by the darkness; only bits and pieces of his body illuminated faintly by the pale white light leaking from his partially opened briefcase. And then he began to play a song that he fealt was all-too-appropriate for Latent, which he was swiftly growing not very fond of. His hoarse, throaty singing was accompanied by very light acoustic guitar - in drop D.
"I like my town with a little drop of poison Nobody knows they're lining up to go insane I'm all alone, I smoke my friends down to the filter But I feel much cleaner after it rains
She left in the fall, that's her picture on the wall She always had that little drop of poison She left in the fall, that's her picture on the wall She always had that little drop of poison
Did the devil make the world while god was sleeping Someone said you'll never get a wish from a bone Another wrong good-bye and a hundred sailors That deep blue sky is my home
She left in the fall, that's her picture on the wall She always had that little drop of poison She left in the fall, that's her picture on the wall She always had that little drop of poison
A rat always knows when he's in with weasels Here you lose a little every day I remember when a million was a million They all have ways to make you pay They all have ways to make you pay."
When the song was finished the musician didn't stop playing. Rather, he just 'turned up the volume' on his guitar and began to hum; the same tune as he had just sung, just without the words. If people had begun to gather around and listen, or were just throwing him dirty looks, he didn't even notice, for his head was bowed and his eyes were shut, the dirty hat on his head langing low over his face...

Now truth be told...lying was getting old. There was no way Shin was tired, he hardly ever slept, and when he did he slept for only 10 minutes at the most. He had no reason to leave the two when he did, and he was glad that they had not found this sudden change odd.
No, shin had senced something parculier within each. Not a threat...just something odd. After he had walked off Shin had stayed in the shadows like he had learned to do and followed closely behind Silver and Ami. He would choose to reveal himself when he choose to...but he wanted to find out a little bit more about his new found friends.
Hunter insticts he supposed.
