Storm rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers. Bigfoot's skin and bones started to crunch sickingly and sprout orange feathers. A few moments later, a phineox sat where Bigfoot was a moment ago. She crouched next to the bird and ran a finger down it's back, almost lovingly.
"Happy now?"

"I says I wants a flaming bird, not to become one! Can you change me back please?" Bigfoot says. "Now I can die cuz birds die... And I don't want to die!"

Storm didn't stop her petting. She chuckled.
"You're a phoenix. They don't die very easily, if at all. No one's actuly seen the body of a dead phoenix, so it's never really been proven that they do die."

"To evade death they burst into flames and are reborn from the ashes. When their time is up they are never reborn and all that's left is a pile of ash."
Natasha continued to stroke Amber while talking to the others.
"Phoenixes are extremely loyal and will protect their masters at all costs. When Amber is angry her feathers no longer stay a warm comforting glow...they become a blazing inferno which scorches any living thing she comes in contact with and turns them to ash."

Storm, not one to normaly fear a mere bird, took a prudent half step away from Amber.
"Funny thing about pheonix's: they don't like crackers. Dispise them infact. I highly recomend not trying to give them one."

"She won't hurt any of you. She trusts you all and knows that I wouldn't want her to harm you."
Natasha smiled,
"You'd know already if she didn't like you."

Kibo chuckles, and crouches, holding his hand out towards Amber.
Kibo: Hey there, lil guy.

"Ya, but now I can't go all undead..." Bigfoot says, walking about on his new bird legs. "But now I can fly..." Bigfoot takes off and flys over to a box which he happily sits atop. "And being reborn from my ashs sounds alot more painful then just not being able to die..."

Storm rolled her eyes.
"Oh poor Bigfoot. Instead of walking around as a skeleton, he gets to soar through the skys as a bird that can't die.

Natasha's voice changed sightly as black markings momentarily engulfed her arms.
"Oh, he'll die...eventually. Apparently the scream of a dying phoenix sends a chill to the bone as their body is engulfed in flame and their bones and feathers are charred as they slowly burn alive."
The markings on her arms faded in seconds and Natasha's voice returned to normal as she continued to stroke Amber.

Storm blinked.
"Please tell me someone else saw that. Because I really don't want to be the only one that saw that."

"The black markings on your arms. I've never seen those before. Or rather, the patteren of them."
