((So uh, this is backdated a bit XD))
Gwynna stood quietly with Nusa, tense with the excitement of the ceremony. She had no real desire to be Peress; Gwynna was rather relieved when both her and Nusa's torches were extinguished. Backing into the crowd, she joined the rest in a wild round of applause, keeping an eye out for Orrel.

Leshya'e and Anezka made there way through the crowds, looking for any glimpse of wings or a red ringed tail. "Do you see them, Ani?" Leshya'e asked as the two of them scanned the crowds. With a shake of the head and a quiet 'no' from Anezka, they continued back through the thick of the celebration.
"Here...let's try something..." Pulling her hair out of the way, Leshya'e squatted down and pointed to her back, "Climb on and I'll carry you...you'll be able to see more and Gwynna might be able to spot you." Anezka cocked her head to the side, "Won't I be heavy?"
Leshya'e shook her head, "No, I used to carry my little siblings like this all the time. So, up you go." She flashed a smile to Anezka, who then climbed on. The two then continued through the crowds, hoping to find or be found.

Heather listened to what Lor had to say feeling slightly sick as she said it. It didn't seem like Amkia and how would... no wait. He said he didn't know.
"I can meet you back at the caravans Im sorry but I don;t think Amkia knows what happend." She looked at Leux and then back at Lor. Heathers heart went out to them but yet she felt more sorry for Amkia and whether he was going to loose his best friend through this.

"Just a scotch, please~" Well, if there was going to be free drinks, she may as well have some of the good stuff. Nursing a whisky, provided this place had any, would be a more pleasant way to muse over things.
"Thanks." Altaira smiled, settling down next to Jal, the friend she'd not exactly expected to make. Then she checked Sindri was comfortable and still napping. The strips of cloth she'd tied over the claw marks were still white, which was heartening.

"Of course there isn't but some who aren't gypsies do take offense at being mistaken as such." Thuban explained, shaking her hand. She seemed an alright sort.
"I'm Thuban Ithel Roza, fellow gypsy, at your service.

Lorelei just looked at Heather for a long moment, face expressionless, stony. Then she lifted the blindfold, preparing to tie it back on so she could go hold her daughter.
"Then we have all the more reason to talk to Valelldia," she murmured, then went back to her daughter, holding her hands out. She felt the warm weight of the girl in her arms, and nearly cried again, but she bit her lip and held it back. She tried to focus on the positive things. Kale returned, Amkia grown... had that been Kala, grown, as well? And of course, Leax. But it was hard, hard to ignore her own plight even in the face of such wonderful things.
Part of her... wanted to run back home. It was a weird feeling. She didn't want to see her father, no... but if she could find her mother alone, maybe she would help. Give maternal advice. Maybe.... maybe...
She turned sightless eyes to Leax and held her daughter out again. "I... I need to go somewhere," she whispered. She wanted him to come with her, but that may not have been the best idea. "Can you take Vanna... and meet me back at our wagon train?"

"I'm Thuban Ithel Roza, fellow gypsy, at your service. "well then I'm glad we are of like minds Thuban. it is my pleasure to meet you" she smiled warmly at him and her red curls bounced as she shook his hand.
"what brings you to the city? the previous ceremonies perhaps?"

"The need to sell my wares, truthfully." He dipped his head towards the hold all, gesturing. The light buff canvas bag didn't reeally give any indication to what was inside, it just looked heavy.
"A pleasant surprise, these festivities. Did you come to the port for them?"

Hinoicarri "actually no, i was stranded here due to unfortunate circumstances. ive been selling my music trying to leave, but then i met up with a traveling caravan of gypsies who welcomed me in so now im just waiting until their departure from the city." "That's very fortunate for you." Thuban smiled. Talented with a flute, pretty and a gypsy with a caravan. Very good. Worth offering a drink to at any rate. But he'd tried to strike up a conversation for a reason.
"I don't suppose, if you're new to their caravan, if one Esther Roza is a part of it? An old lady. I've been looking for my grandmother everywhere."

"it is quite possible one such exists in the caravan, but i haven't met many people of the caravan, but if you want to wait with me while the festivities are finished up, i can take you to the caravan and Valleldia is sure to know who is in her own caravan."

Valelldia Sizzla As Irina hefted Kal up into her arms, she followed the crowd, walking through the pathways of the city and thinking about the life growing inside her. She'd have to take good care of herself in the next few months--she wanted to be healthy for the Savior's sake.
While deep in thought, Kalpana began to squirm in Irina's arms, making squeaking and squealing noises as she motioned toward something close by. The girl acted as if she wanted to be let down, and so, Irina lowered Kal to the ground, still unsure whether the little girl could walk or not. Instead of trying to walk on her large feet, she got down on all fours and scampered (?) over to a tall woman who was holding a box. It seemed Kal was interested in what the woman was holding as she tried to hoist herself up.
"Kal, hold on a sec!" Irina said, hoping her claws wouldn't tear into the woman's dress. "My apologies ma'am. She just seemed so interested in you, I thought it wouldn't hurt to let her take a look." The woman adjusted the box under her arm, and waggled her hips and smiled. "Oh, no problem, dearie darling. The little one can make herself happy with the sight of me." She laughed at Irina. "I've got two little ones myself. Urr... not so little anymore. Teenagers, the lot of them! ...Why hello there, little darlin'," the woman knelt down to touch the infant on the hair gently, before looking back up at Irina. "New mother, are yeh, lass?" Irina smiled, pleased that the woman was kind, and wasn't bothered by Kal. "She hasn't been able to get around and go much yet," Irina said, wondering if she should mention her child had just become a child from the body of a badger. "So now, she's pretty excited to explore." She paused, wondering what Kal would be like as a teenager. She could hardly imagine. "I hear teenagers can be difficult to deal with," she said with a chuckle, wondering if the woman had any good advice for her. "What's it like raising them?"
Hands moved down to rest on her stomach as the woman asked if she was a new mother. "Yes, I'd say so. Kal's still a baby, and yet, I'm pregnant with another one..." She smiled warmly, patting her still-flat stomach.Kal looked up at the woman as she addressed her. "Hhowoooo!" Kal exclaimed, waving at the woman as she pulled up on her skirt. Hello!
