"Oh my!" Chelsie said, a scared look coming to her face. "Did you guys hear that? Someone needs to go find her. But we need some way to find out if that someone needs help, seeing as how she's probably pretty far in." She thought of some way to contact one another. She'd heard about patronuses being used for communication but wasn't sure how that was done. Sparks could work, except none of them were up high enough to see them. She thought some more and put her head on her hand as she thought.
"I heard it too." Said Devin. "I'm not sure what we could do, but whatever we decide we should do it sooner than later because that scream sounded absolutely terrified. Kind of like yours, Sun."

"What if Fate and I go in, and...er...if one of us gets in trouble the other can come out?" Sunrise said with a nervous shrug. She felt incredibly guilty for starting this game in the first place.
"Alright, I'll go in a moment or so ahead, so you'll have some warning," Fate said, gently extracting his hand from Sunrise's.

It swung it's hooves at her, but she quickly dodged, but tripped over. The hipogriff paused a second, basking in his easy victory, but a second was all she needed. Lucy crawled behind the nearest tree, which gave her enough time to stand and scream..... where were they?
"OMG! Uh.... I'm coming Lucy!!!" Tanner said, hearing her latest scream and was ready to RUN! "You girls stay here!!!!!" Tanner said. He said it in such a fierce way, I woulda stayed. He took off. The screams were getting louder.
"Tanner! I'm coming with you!" yelled Vince. "I'm up for some adventure!" He took off and caught up with Tanner instantly.
Tanner was running when he saw Vince run past him, but after Vince was a distance away, he slowed to a jog, not risking Tanner to pass him though.
"Are you acting like this is a game?"
"Last time I checked, it was a game, mate." said Vince coolly.
Rob just sat there, staring at Chelsie.
"God, Rob....close your mouth... you might start drooling." said Dan. Another scream in the distance....
"That's it, I'm going!!!" Dan ran into the forest and found a short cut. He caught up with Tanner and Vince to find them arguing.

Chelsie looked at Rob and saw him staring at her. She looked away quickly. "Umm...It looks like you and Fate don't have to go in after all." Chelsie said to Sun. "I think the three of them will end up figuring it out. And if not, they have sense enough among themselves to scream themselves."
((I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do in the forest...hmmm....))

Lucy started to climb a tree when she realized that they could fly. She only had two ideas, both not very sensible. Run, or bow, and see what happens. She decided to do both. She ran as fast as she could and then stopped suddenly and bowed really really low, yet ready to run again. The hipogriff almost ran into her from the sudden stop, but it's mind finally had taken in the fact that the chase was over. They stopped three feet away from each other, not doing anything. It didn't know what to do. Bow? Kill?
"Uh, I think we're getting close. I think I hear them." Vince said quietly.
"Since when are you the tracker master?" Tanner shot back. He didn't know exactly why he was being a brat, but he had an idea. He thought he was acting like that because he didn't want Vince to take all the glory in saving Lucy, and Lucy fall in love with Vince. The love was rightfully his.
"Gah! Can you two go two seconds without fighting? Big babies!" Dan said. He was the peace maker. The one who hated all the fights. They walked quietly after that. Suddenly, something came to sight. They walked quieter and quickly to get a better view, hidden in the trees. Through the branches, they saw two figures: a bowing Lucy, and a startled hipogriff.

"I wonder which guy is gonna get to her first." Chelsie wondered out loud. "Three of the ones she invited went in after her. Rob, here, is apparently infatuated with me." She added, hoping that Rob was so spaced out that he hadn't heard what she said. Shouldn't he be able to tell that she wasn't interested in him at all?
Devin just stared at Rob. There was an obvious look of comtempt on his face. I hope that he can't run very well. he thought as he shifted trying to find a comfortable position.

Lucy was holding her breath. Her mind was saying wait, but her legs were saying run. The hipogriff had no idea if she was worthy enough. She bent her head down, making her bow lower. The hipogriff started to bow, but instantly got up. It didn't move. It stared sharply at her. She bowed even lower to where finally she couldn't possibly move anywhere but up. She guessed that was the turning point for the creature because he bowed. She let out her breath slowly and took a careful step toward the animal.
"Gosh! We have to go in there!! We have to help her!" Tanner breathed to the others. He saw that it was staring at her, and he didn't know what to think.
"She's got it covered, retard! Don't go off and mess it up for her!" was the whispered reply from Vince. He was really starting to get annoyed by Tanner's big hero act.
"Vince is right, mate. Don't go and mess it up for her." Dan said. He realized that he himself didn't know if he came to save Lucy, or for the ride. Maybe so he could make sure Vince and Tanner don't kill each other.
Rob really liked Chelsie. He saw the look the man Chelsie was with gave him and he felt a pang of disgust. How could this.... this.... barbie doll steal Chelsie from him. What did she see in this pretty-boy? He scooted closer to her and pretended to trip on a rock. They both fell on the ground. Rob fell right on top of her.

"Ow!" Chelsie said. "That hurt!"
"Get off, Rob. You're hurting Chelsie." Devin said with as much composure as he could issue. "Are you OK, Chels." He asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine Devin. I just have all of Rob's weight on me. Still." She directed the last statement at Rob. She tried to get up but he still had her pinned to the ground. "Rob, get off. You're hurting me." She sent a pleading look to Devin.
"Hey man, get off. You heard her."

"Thanks Sun." Chelsie said, as she grabbed her arm. She just left Rob laying there and went to stand by Sun and Fate. Devin followed, the contemptuous look still on his face.

The creature started backing up, but since Lucy was still in a low bow, so was the hipogriff. Lucy stopped suddenly , not wanting to upset it. She backed up further and further. The hippogriff was completely satisfied. She was finally back by the trees, when her butt hit something hard and it fell back and she yelped.
Dan watched carefully as Lucy walked backwards toward them. She got really close and if he wanted to, he could reach and touch her hair. Things were weird. Did she need saving?
Vince was totally silent when Lucy was backing up. God... what grace she had...
Tanner couldn't look. All of a sudden, something hit him and he fell backwards and he heard a yelp.
That was awesome! I just wish I didn't hurt her.... Rob thought

"Sun, that Rob kid is a little psycho." Chelsie said so that only Sun could hear her. "He just wouldn't budge! Even when I told him he was hurting me!!!"
Devin watched as Chelsie leaned in to Sun to tell her something. He wondered what it was she was telling her for about 5 seconds and then turned his attention back to Rob. I can't figure out why he wouldn't get off of her he thought to himself. I should try to keep Chelsie away from him if possible.

Chelsie shuddered minutely, just barely enough to be able to tell. She turned back to Devin to see him staring at Rob again. "Devin, quit staring. It'll be fine. Just keep him away from me." She said quietly
Devin looked at Chelsie, her hair shining in the sun. she is so beautiful. he thought. "I'll quit staring when he leaves you alone." He replied. "You don't have to worry about him getting near you, though, I'll take care of that."
