"It looks at though Kia's abandoned us!" she laughed and waved her off airily "Can't say it's such a dissapointment." there was a quiet pause, then Chanti kissed him not on the cheek, close to the mouth but not quite.

"But then Kai is a very strange fellow and I fear I got him too much into the posion of wine. Oh well, then let me see what I have." Looking about he spotted one that stirred memories, a mask that was of a swan, but black with a dark lavender crown placed on a long stem and black ribbons that strung from it as well. Smiling beneath his mask he handed it to her, "Here you goo..Chanti?"

"It's very beautiful." she said softly, brushing her lips against his. One hand went gently to his waist for support "And I'm very touched you would let me borrow it."

If time where to freeze and his inner thoughts to step out and say something it would be something along the lines of what the hell is going on here, for that is what went through his mind. Maybe it was true what they said about how you could never undstand women, Quin knew he didn't, yeah, that's it, this is just some strange quirk of theirs. "Your welcome, but please take care of it, it is very delicate."

She'd been in the door only about ten or so minutes, but already... And the other hand had gone over his shoulder, abandoning any pretense of modesty "I promise, I...promise." Chanti closed her eyes as her slightly open lips met his.

Third times the charm the old saying goes, and while often proven wrong in this case fate deemed it true. The mask which had hid his face was off now, having fallen to the floor. Meeting her kiss he wraped his arms around her form.

Her arms were already around his, she pulled her lips away just enough to smile as she felt his finally do the same. The mask only covered her eyes, her lips were free to do as they pleased, and settled on giving him a firmer kiss.

Returning her kiss he held it as long as could be. For someone that he had supposibly taken their first kiss she seemed oftly good at it. Looking her over, his eye caught on her dress, "Where did you get this new outfit?"

"Kia gave it to me. They run a dress shop, this must have been something extra." but it fit like it had been made especially for her "Do you like it?" they'd gone a full five seconds without kissing and she was starting to miss it.

"It is wonderful." he quickly kissed her. Even though at the back of his head he thought it somewhat strange that Kai would give her a dress, especially after the incident he had heard about his mind focused on other matters of importance.

Thrilled, Quin was kissed again. Then she broke away and walked a few paces from him "It there a balconey? Some place to drink wine?" They had sat in the recieving room drinking so many time before it would feel plain.

"Yes there is a balcony, follow me." Offering her his arm he led her up stairs and to the left this time. Eventually they came to a balcony that overlooked the gardens. Servants where going about lighting the oil lanterns bellow and over all is was a wonderful view. "Some wine will be delievered shortly." he told her after requesting some from a passing servant.

"Quin," one of her hands went around and rested on his waist, her head on his shoulder "I never thought this place could be so much more beautiful at night. It's- well," she turned and kissed him "You outdid yourself."

After breaking the kiss he nuzzled her head, "I've always been a night person, so I often look out and see. I find the sight so much more relaxing, everything lit so calmly the sky filled with stars, even clourds take new meaning in the night."

Her eyes had been kept closed for the kiss, she opened them when she heard him taking about the atmosphere. The dress revealed more than she normally did, but their arms around one another and him nuzzling her kept her warm "I can see what you mean. I'd like to stay this way."
