He sighs, nodding - very, very slowly, so as not to jar his brain even more, it was in enough pain as it was. "They'd better get on it soon. People will just get more panicked... though the quake and aftershocks themselves seem to be over."
Niko smiles sympathetically, and pats his hand. "I hope your head feels better. And I hope you don't lose any of the brains you have, if you had any." She grins, chuckling softly, trying to get him to laugh.

R'nek quirks an eyebrow, chuckling a little. "Indeed... I'm starting to wonder that myself."

Of course you have a brain, Mine. If you didn't, what would hurt?

... ... ... I love you, Roth.

Niko laughs, wipes her eyes with a dirty arm. "Ah, just some, ah, grit, yeah, grit, in my eyes..." She shakes her head, leaning back agaisnt Gyo', feeling his large scales underneath her head.

Gyo'... What would you have done if... If I died? She asks him quietly in their minds, not wanting to voice that query in front of anyone else.

Gyomanth stays silent for a few moments, his eyes shut. Finally, he opens them, looking up into Niko's eyes, his own eyes a swirling mix of orange and purple, a mix of agitation and worry, but there are flecks of blueish green as well, a mix of love. Love, I-I don't really know... He shakes his head a little, lifting it up and nuzzling her cheek. I would do anything for you, though...

R'nek smiled, about to respond with some scathing remark about grit - but decided against it, seeing that she'd entered a special moment with her dragon. Understanding, he looked away so as not to intrude on it, and gazed down at Famyroth's great head. He eased himself forwards and leaned his cheek against Roth's eye ridges with a quiet sigh. Today... there had been too many emotional upheavals today.

Niko sighs, and smiles back at R'nek after a minute. "I'm fine, I promise I am... Well, maybe not in the head, but that's nothing important, just the controls of the boyd..." She says that last lightly, being sarcastic and holding a straight face before laughing weakly.

R'nek chuckled a little, smiling. "It's no problem." He looked around a bit and huffed a sigh. "Well, I feel utterly useless here. At the very least, I want to stand up and walk around. I may not be able to do much, but I could at least help find the worst injured..." He looked around for a moment, and grinned. Roth, would you mind awfully... He extended his arm, and the brown grabbed a hold of his sleeve, ripping it off.

R'neck took the torn fabric from Famyroth and held part of it between his legs, ripping out the seam. From that, he fashioned a temporary sling, grinning. Bracing himself against his dragon, he stood.

Ath had been sedated, although temporarily. He had great concern for Treyla's well being and the two who helped seemed to know what they were doing. He took to the air and hovered in tight circles around them, keeping his eyes always on Treyla and any improvement in her condition.

Treyla fortunitly had stoped bleeding. But that still didn't help her to rouse herself out of subconsiousness. Her mind lay blank and dark in this terrible time of mayhem. Perhaps it was a mercy, or a curse. Whatever the reason Treyla took more beating from trying to excape the ruins of Benden than even she had known.

Drakiana nodded to the woman, then looked back at Treyla. She chewed on her lip, wondering what she could do. But she had no healer experience what so ever, so she really couldn't think of anything except to stay out of everyone's ways. She tried to get Ath to come down at sit by Treyla, but she didn't think it would work.

Tikal saw the girl step back and try to calm the blue flit. Suddenly, she heard a familiar squawk. Lapis had arrived practically dragging a healer by the sleeve. The man gripped a satchel with his free hand.

"Finally," Tikal breathed as she stood to greet the journeyman healer. "We have three people hurt here the girl is the worst off. She's a bit anemic from the bloodloss. Then we have a broken leg and a dislocated shoulder."

The healer nodded and set to work immediately.

"Do you need anything?" she asked.

"Water and lots of it. We're also going to need some wood to set that leg. I think it would be best if we take them out of the crowd first," he answered. Tikal nodded and sent both her flits on the errands before turning to the girl beside her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. I'm going to see if I can find stretchers or anything that could make one, would you like to help me?"

Myyth had been helping with the after-quake healing when Spirith came running over. "Myyth....Your flit eggs!"
Myyth head came up with a snap and she looked as surprised as she ever had. "What? They hatch?! Now?!"
"Yes."
"Mine are in the weyrling quarters...Do you know if they still stand?"
"Somewhat."

Myyth spoke to those she was working with before running in the direction of her flit eggs. A few minutes later she stood outside the weyrling quarters, or what was left of them. Most of the building still stood, but the roof had fallen in here and there and the whole structure had a tilted look.

"Spirith do you think its safe?"
"No, but does that even matter?"
"You know me too well....I will have those eggs. I wonder.....well I doubt that the weyrling master will be happy when she hears about this. If she does."
"Mine, I can hear them, in their shells."

Myyth darted into the building. She walked down to her room, avoiding the debris on the floor. There in the corner was the pot of sand, the two eggs rocking, but intact.

"They're fine."
"I know, come out the building is not safe"

Myyth got out of the quarters with inciedent, and returned to the others, carrying her rocking flit eggs.

By the time she was sitting a few feet from pot of meat the darkish egg had cracked, showing a wet, brownish head. A moment later a brown flit flopped into Myyth lap.
"Look Spirith how tiny he is, a bit smaller than you were even."
"I am a dragon, and pretty, unlike him."

Myyth laughed and fed the tiny brown. He was cute...but what to call him?
"Farth. He should be Farth."
"I thought you didn't like flits? Why Farth?"
"He is a brown, it suits him."

Myyth fead the little brown, and he ate happily, though nearly taking off one of her fingers. Looking back at the egg pot Myyth saw the second egg had cracked in half, reveling a green.
"A green! Any more name suggestions Spirith?"
"She is.....Oath."

Myyth blinked and scooped up the second flit. Somewhat mystifed she said the flits name's as she fed them. "Farth and Oath?.....The names suit them....But you didn't just pull them out of air, did you?"

"They are the right names......"

Senseing she would get no more from her dragon Myyth fed the two flits till they fell asleep, and as they did she recevied happy liitle sendings. Smiling Myyth tucked the pair into the hood of her cloak, they needed to sleep, but untill she knew what would happen to them all the pair weren't leaving her sight.

Ray's head is pounding with her heartbeat, and although numbed now, her foot is throbbing in time. Everyone seems to be trying to talk to her at once, and then running off. She caught someone say something about a caravan of Traders and watch whers, and disposal? But before she could ask to clarify, the girl ran off... and the eggpot under her sore arm was still wiggling. She had to take care of that.

Now.

Finally, Shadill limps over, a bruise on her face and her hair, for the first time Ray had ever seen her, in disarray.

Isskio returns to attempt to land on Ray's shoulder, only to be shooed off again. "I'm sorry, Isskio, that shoulder hurts," she says. "The egg is hatching, I need food for it." Chirruping, Isskio flies away.

"You wanted me, Ray?" Shadill sounds tired.

"Yes, well, I wanted to know if you were okay," Ray replies. "Everyone's panicking, and so much is going on at once. I can't quite run around bashing heads at the moment, as much as I'd like to..." She indicated her wrapped foot. "Have you seen K'makin?"

Shadill sighs, "No, I haven't seen him. I've done my share of headbashing, and so have the Healers, we should be getting a bit more organized. Once we can get everyone calmed down, we should be able to try to account for everyone, and attempt to locate those who are ... missing." She winces.

The eggpot shakes a bit harder, and Ray nearly drops it. "Shards," she mutters again. She opens it carefully, letting the sand trickle out until she can see the mottled egg inside.

Once half of the shell is exposed, it bursts open, a blue flit wriggling out, creeling. Isskio appears with a gnawed-off lump of partially-cooked roast, depositing it on the ground, and the flit lunges for it. He attacks the roast, chewing at it ineffectively.

Ray sighs. "P'las, want a flit? I can't really take care of Impressing him at the moment."

Arizath came gliding over to T'thia and landed smoothly at her side. she layed an exhousted hand on his muzzle

"it's so chaotic. what are we going to do? we need everyone's attention and fast"

Arizath thought for a moment

Mount, i have an idea

T'thia did as she was told. Arizath launched and circled. he found where Rayi was and hovered over head of her. T'thia felt the large bronze take in a huge breath of air and expell it in one of the loudest sounds she had ever heard him create. the sound seame to make the wyre fall silent

speak, you have their attention for the most part

T'thia hesitated before raising her voice

"Benden Wyre has just undergone a crisis, this is no time to panic! remain calm and we can get through this! The WyreWomen is in charge but she need your co-operation! now please! stay quiet and listen for instruction!"

T'thia looked down at Rayi as if to tell her she was sorry for again stepping out of line but that the attention of the crowd was all hers.

Drakiana looked up. "Oh, my name is Drakiana. That is Treyla. And yes, I'd like to help in any way I can." she said, nodding. "I'll even get Rumor to help. He can get stuff, or send messages." she told him.

Ath slowly tired from all the flying and his distress. He settled down on the ground beside Treyla, crooning sorrowfully. He gently nudged her chest still crooning. He didn't know what else to do really.

((Treyla's life is pretty much in your hands. Unconcious she can't do much of anything for herself sweatdrop ))
