Kota weaved carefully through the trees. All those he had met before had left, and he didn't stop them. Where am I...? Not too far away, he heard sounds of birds... and... hooves? Silently, he padded forward, towards the noise.

Iniz flapped his wings for a minuet to set the feathers straight after preening. Once his feathers were comfortabel he shook himself and settled better onto the branch

Fedha licked at his nose, then stoped and examined the bird. it had now ruffled up and was all poofy. his head was cocked to the side, his ears cocked back now. he huffed once, then listened to the sounds of something coming. was it another Predator!? his heart raced as he watched all his sides making sure nothing snuck up on him.

::Hodari whimmpered a little, rolling onto his back before his eyes fluttered open. He gasped and quickly scurried to his feet, heart pounding against his chest. W-where?::
::He shook his head a little, his slightly messed up hair growing even messier as he did so. Those abnormal eyes of his cast a sharp look out at the lake.. Now he remembered! He'd fallen asleep.. That was right!::
::The cub stretched out his limbs, inhaling a large amount of air before exhaling. Slowly, he trudged off towards the side of the lake, sitting down next to it to stare at it's surface..::

Ciyari had fallen asleep not so far away from Hodari, curled up blissfully along the side of the lake. It took awhile for her to dry off, but she managed it before she went to sleep...definately a good thing, considering that she's woken up cold and freezing and wet several times before. It's not fun.
She doesn't move as Hodari gets up, but once he's over by the lake, she gives a little mewl and rolls over slightly, not opening her eyes.

Back towards the trees, Pakaa and Chukizo are dozing. Well, Pakaa is dozing, and Chukizo is pretending to be dozing. His ears flick up as he hears something nearby. Movements? What's that? Sounds like a bird...and is that hooves?

Curious, he poked his head through some trees. A... zebra? He'd never been this close to a zebra... had he? What was he suppose to do with a zebra anyway? It's not as if he were big enough to take it on... So he stood watching silently, waiting for something to happen.

He looked at the Zebra and clinked his beak. "Stripes is afraid of getting hunted?" he had not seen a prey creature this big here yet and was slightly suprised to see one now

Kimbio smiled widely in relief, thankful that she hadn't simply turned him away. "Wonderful," he chirped, eyes alight with the prospect of the trip. His smile faltered slightly with her boast; he couldn't match it. He had never had anyone to learn from, and survived mostly off dune lizards. Anytime he tried anything much larger, it would easily escape. But he could pretend! Maybe, together, they could catch something big. "Ahh, food would be wonderful. Since leaving the sands I've had trouble sneaking up on anything... Guess I'll have to practice."

Fedha let out a grunt "i'm not afraid! i'm just....a little cautious thats all..." he huffed again as he looked to the bird. "so um..." he stoped. somewhat forgeting what to say, and because he smelt something. not sure what it was, he turned around and looked about. his grey eyes scanned the brown tree barks, and then found a white speck. his body shook as he back up a little. he didn't care how small the lion was, it was still able to hurt him.

"So you are a smart little one" he snickered and looked at the little cub that was hiding from view.
He was glad it was not the rude one from the other day. He was not ready to deal with her again. "Come out little one...just don't try to eat my friend"

::He gave the girl a silent gaze before standing up, stretching a little more.. gosh.. He felt so sore... All that running and swimming had done him in the other day.::
::Finally feeling comfortable, he turned around, skittering over to the one known as Ciyari. He lightly nudged her side once with a paw, then once more..:: "Hey.... Hey... Get up..." ::He repeated himself four times before scooting back a little.::

Msuko squacked at the huge black and white thing towering over her, and fluttered up to a branch about face-high with Fedha. "Kree, what do you think you are doing?"
Hearing something coming, Msuko unruffled her feathers, smoothing them with her beak. Even if it was nothing, she could always fly away.

He stared dumbly at the zebra, his head tilted slightly. It'd spotted him, he was sure. What was he gonna do now? Somehow the only thing that came to his mind was that the zebra was bigger than him. Should he try and talk to it... would it understand him? ((He's a little weird... he doesn't think like normal lions... xd sweatdrop ))

Fedha looked to the bird. his eyes looking at it. "what....are you doing?" he cocked his head "um....i was looking at you? is that wrong?" he backed up slowly looking around at the lion again. his heart was thumping wildly now
