Tsukasu lead Leilani into the arcade, the dimness inside contrasted with the many flashing lights of the games made him squint his green eyes. He moved a hand to tuck loose hair behind his ear before he turned to his companion, smiling. What do you want to do first? he asked.

Razor Sharp Kisses I see, she said softly, looking to the screen. Are you going to demonstrate then? Acacia looked from the screen to his feet and then to him. It seems pretty difficult. He asked, tilting his head in a sincere, slightly childish little plea. And...I'll show you how to play, but you have to promise not to laugh at me. I don't dance gracefully, he laughed, blushing softly as he brushed some hair from his face.

It doesn't matter to me, she started with a smile and slight shrug. And I'll only play with you if it looks like I can do it without falling over or looking incredibly ugly or something. Acacia blushed lightly before pressing her lips together as if in thought.

I'm sure you can do it, and look smashing doing so, Shinji told Acacia, blushing faintly before he stepped up onto the platform and dug through his pockets for tokens. He hadn't played in ages, and started out on one of the beginner levels, which he'd have Acacia do as well. This is the easiest one there is on this machine...So I'll do it, then you can do it, okay? he offered, watching her as he went through the options and waited for it to start.

Sure, she nodded as she watched the screen. Acacia laughed softly, replaying what he had just said. Smashing? What's that mean?

"It's so noisy!" Chiara said--shouted. Her mouth was within an inch of her friend's ear, trying to get this point across as they nearly plowed into a pair of people in front of them. With a tug, the red-wrapped Saveria quickly side-stepped around them, pulling the more timid girl along with her.
"Nonsense! You just have to get used to it!" she answered, eyes alight with more than just the flashing of game screens. A machine snugged up against a collumn caught her eye and her chin and shoulders both perked up. "Look! They have PNM!" Saveria said, turning to make sure Chiara heard her. "C'mon! You'll like this one."
With a tug and a rustling of heavy bags, the pair headed off towards the large machine.

Yes, they are, Tsukasu said with a small chuckle, amused by the girl's cute reaction. There are many games to play and many things to do in an arcade. Would you like me to show you some of my favorites? he asked her.

"They are?" Leilani glanced around then squeaked and jumped when one of the machines went off, someone having gotten a high score. "If your favorite ones are away from the screaming ones then yes, please show me." Loud noises weren't her thing.

Well, one of my favorites unfortunately is a loud one, Tsukasu laughed. What kind of things are you interested in? Fighting, shooting, dancing...? he asked as he looked around to get familiar with the different sections.

Leilani gave a little smile. She would be brave for him if he wanted to show of his loud game. "I'm afraid I don't know much about fighting, shooting, or dancing. Maybe sorta dancing underwater but that's a bit different. We can go to your game first. I don't mind."

After sneaking past Leilani and Tsukasa, Chiara and Saveria were in the clear to reach the PNM machine--"What does Pee-En-Em stand for?" Chiara asked, no longer shouting as they clear away from most of the rest of the noise in the arcade. Her voice was still slightly elevated and her question rather unnecessary--the name of the game was written down the front of the machine in three languages.
The machine itself was very similar to many others in the arcade at first glance--it had a screen nestled into its boxy cabinet, and a coin slot in front. The crontrols, however, were unique. Nine brightly colored buttons the size of Chiara's hand spread across the console in two panels. Slightly skeptical that she would play successfully, she stared. As she stood there, the overhead "stage" lights came on, winking bright colors on her hair.
"Pop'n Music," Saveria answered cheerfully, digging into the sash draped around her hips and the hidden coin-purse beneath. "It's a blast! I promise! You take the four on the left," she said with a wave of one hand, coins clearly shown in her palm. As Chiara set down her shopping bags and slug her purse over her shouler, her companion began feeding quarters into the coin slot.
"Okay--you see the buttons? Hit that one," Saveria said as she straightened, scooting in close and pointing to the button she meant before slapping her hand down onto her own "action" button. "This way, we can play together!"
Chiara still looked dubious, but did as instructed.

If you're sure, Tsukasu said with a smile, leading her over to an area made mostly of fighting styled arcade games, some really old Street Fighter games and also many newer titles. He lead her to one that read Soul Caliber. This one has to be one of my favorites, he said. It only takes me a few minutes to beat all the characters, he boasted.

Leilani followed closely, not wanting to stray too close to some of the louder games. When stopping in front of his game, she looked it over curiously. The buttons and such were odd to her. "This is a game? You just press the buttons?" She didn't see how that made for a great game but she would have to judge it after watching someone play it.

Yes! You technically just press buttons, Tsukasu said, slipping a token out of the handful he had gotten from his brother into the machine as he started the game, choosing Ivy as the character.
