Scott didn't believe the creature for a second. "Kris wouldn't let you take over. Let her come back," he commanded, not intending to go quietly. Just because he wouldn't hurt her doesn't mean he could defend himself from any attacks that were launched against him. He was extremely pleased that he had bothered to learn how to wield the staff to some amount of success, even if he wasn't sure if he would be able to hold off a werewolf for very long. The staff began to twirl quickly in his right hand, using the spin to create momentum that could be used to knock blows away from his body. His weapon was certainly real, he had discovered this in his room when he had accidently cracked one of the fish tanks.

The creature gave out that same barking laugh. "And how do you know that? How do you know that she hasn't given in to the darkness?"
Standing up, it reached for the falchion that had been momentarily forgotten. The werewolf had enough power to wield the blade single handily, and the knowedge to do so.
"Looking awfully familiar, eh Scott?"

Rayla gasped and took a step back at the laugh. Everything was making her jump.
"Kris...is too strong... for the darkness...don't kid yourself.."
She swallowed hard and readied herself as the wolf drew the falchion. She glanced over at Scott and nudge him lightly.
"Has...has this...happened before..?"

"Fun time, wasn't it Scott? Managed to get her thrown in the hospital, didn't it?"
She tossed the sword to her other hand. "Good times, good times. But you're quite wrong, Rayla. It's all a mask, didja know? She acts so brave...but inside, she's a coward who can't even save herself."

Scott's eyes fell closed and the staff in his hand came to a sudden halt as the memories came flooding back to his mind. The bottom of the staff connected with the ground as he leaned heavily against it, using it to support him while his mind was unable to focus on staying upright. "In a way," he answered Rayla, recalling the fights that had occurred between them while she was under Ligs control. He had hated it then as much as he would now, except that he no longer had to worry about severing any of her body parts while he defended himself, like he had been forced to do while he had wielded the sabre back at the mansion.

"Yes, it's hard to remember now, isn't it?"
She withdrew the two daggers in one hand, and threw one at each person. While they were occupied with those, she rushed at Scott, the falchion flying behind her, and glinting in the sun.

As the sound of the werewolf exploding into motion reached Scott's ears, his eyes flew open and the glint of the dagger flying towards him caught his eye. He moved swiftly to the right, the dagger grazing his left cheek lightly and leaving a thin red line behind. As he moved, his staff was set into motion, spinning once again, and his eyes fell to Kris again. No... It wasn't really Kris. His gaze settled on the werewolf, not Kris. "Don't make me do anything to hurt you," he muttered quickly and quietly as the werewolf charged at him. He knew Kris well enough to know that she would never willingly give in to the darkness, but she couldn't resist it. He hadn't learned of her problems as a child until Ligs had taken over control of her body in the mansion, but it had explained many things at the time.

The falchion was brought down sharply, leaving a trail of splinters with it. Kris quickly spun around, slashing at Scott's head, but that too was blocked. She growled, then brought the blade into a swift uppercut.

As the blade began its latest maneuver, Scott pushed hard off the ground with his feet, sending himself over backwards. When he was upside-down, his hands hit the ground and pushed him the rest of the way over, ending up a few feet back from his starting position and, thankfully, safe from harm so far. "Release her you b*****d," he growled furiously at the beast, wishing that this confrontation would be able to finish without too many injuries. He would have glanced over to see how Rayla had managed so far, but he didn't dare take his eyes off the werewolf, fearing that it could charge at any time.

Kris growled at the fact that her blade didn't connect. Walking backwards, she stuck the falchion in the deck, and snarled.
"Then I guess you didn't know that the only way to drive me out, is a large amout of pain? Obvioulsy not. Go ahead. I dare you."

Alex heard something and ran towards wqhever she might think it was created from. She looked at Kris. "I shouldn't ask should I?" She put her hand on the katana in case she might get attacked.

Scott sighed angrily as he heard the solution. Hurting her was the last thing he wanted to do, but he supposed there was no other choice. "Or you could just leave her alone," he said, though he knew that it certainly wasn't going to work that way. Nobody ever took over someone's body and then left just because they were asked. All Scott could hope to do was keep himself from getting hurt because he wouldn't stand the thought of knowing that he was willingly cuasing her pain. If he could get somebody else to do it, then he wouldn't feel quite so bad, but he still didn't want it to happen that way. He remembered that Rayla was still there, but he didn't know her name and he didn't have any real way of talking with her.

"So then, which would you choose? A slight ounce of pain for this girl...or the lives of everyone on this ship? It's your decision...choose wisely."
Her foot tapped delicatly on the deck. Kris' smile was broad as she stared with golden green eyes.
"Because I won't refrain from killing you all. I can promise you this though...she won't have any remorse...at all."

Scott swore furiously under his breath at the beast's words, knowing that most of it was likely to be true. He was almost positive that Kris, the human, would certainly feel remorse for the loss of all their lives even if the other half of her didn't. He couldn't risk the lives of everyone else, though. Especially since Kris would still be alive this time. "And just how much pain is it going to take to get you to leave her body?" he asked, hoping that it wouldn't be too extreme. He didn't want to do anything more than he had to, though he knew that the creature's words couldn't likely be trusted.

"Hmm...just enough for her to pass out. But that will be nothing compared to the pain in your heart that you had to hurt a friend. Am I right?"
She chuckled, letting her extened canine teeth show. "What am I saying? I'm always right. Always."
