 Faustus NecromoniumFaust was at this whole thing for about one day, and that was already feeling like one day too many to him.
"Honestly...How do people rely on demons for this kind of thing?" he snapped, dicing a demon in half with his weapon, as the Sporadic air demon floated around him, providing covering fire. He was honestly kind of annoyed of all of the attacks, and just wanted to lie back on a couch, and sleep the rest of this nightmare away.
"Course, I doubt that'll happen." he called, mentally ticking down the clock until the next attack. If he had his math right, it would be annnnny minute now. Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "The name's Tex, partner. Have you seen Chur-ow, no, what the hell is this!? GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Gin moved to the nearest wall, and began smacking his head off of the concrete until whatever the voice he was hearing started to shut up. He was done with all of this! With Church, with Tucker, with Caboose, with Tex...with the whole damn Blue Team! If anything, he was clearly on team Red anyways! Didn't they notice his sweet crimson jacket, which screamed 'I should be Sarge'!? He felt like kicking Griff in the teeth right now, and he didn't even know a Griff! Faustus NecromoniumAs if on cue, another Megrez fell down next to him, yelling in comprehensively at him. The air-y demon drove it off, but he watched the JPs members giving chase..Hopefully having better luck this time than the last one.
"Honestly.." he called to himself, starting off quietly with more than a hint of annoyance in his voice. "I wish these stupid things would stop following me."

Faustus NecromoniumFaust rolled his eyes as he saw some App users holding up some JPs agents.
'Honestly, more of them...' he thought, before drawing his bow. 'Guess I can help a little.'
Arrows flew, and phones haphazardly held up were broken, as the agents wondered just where their help was coming from. With the quick shift in numbers and control, Faust left the JPs agents to play cleanup, going back to his room.

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "It looks like a nest of Kelpie existed in the Samegawa. I've dealt with them for the time being. I should report back soon, assuming I don't get anymore unwanted visitors. Hm? Oh, it's nothing Sako. Nothing..." Gin glanced at the Kelpie he'd just defeated laying nearby, and sighed. They were fairly rational demons, but their demands for tribute from anyone who passed by were out of control in this apocalyptic situation. He'd been forced to defeat them for the good of JPs, but, they weren't as bad as everyone made them seem. He wanted to find a way to co-exist with them if it were possible...but there simply wasn't enough time, not until the Septentriones were gone. Quote: Gin completes JPs tasks.  Nix Gallen Nix had finished another task for the JPs, though it was another escort mission and fighting off demons at every turn. It did help take her mind off the feeling of hopelessness but after it was over, the feeling returned. How many days has it been since she last saw a familiar face..? Quote: Acquired 5 tokens! Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Roger. I found a whole nest of Megrez Buds, but I don't think that I can defeat this group. I just drove off a pair of demon tamers, but I think it drew the Septentriones' attention. I'm falling back now..." Gin stepped away from the crest of the hill, reporting his status back to HQ. The JPs agents had heard that Megrez Buds might be coordinating in order to create more earthquakes, but the truth was just as harmful as it sounded. If they were allowed to act with this number, they might cause an earthquake large enough to shake the whole foundation of Inaba. But he was just one man, and he didn't have the strength to defeat them alone...at least not yet. Gin began taking off down the Riverbank, away from the monsters before they were officially engaged in combat. It was necessary to survive today, in order to fight tomorrow. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Running running running." Gin turned, jumping off the road and sliding down the dirt hill as he tried to keep ahead of the Buds that were pursuing them. Their chase was unusually relentless, but he knew that there was no opportunity to turn around and fight them...at least, not successfully. Instead he did what he could to hold on to his butt as he ran passed the high point of Inaba, skittering passed the bus stop before using the Hilltop's slope as a slide to gain some distance between him and his pursuers. It wasn't easy, since they were able to fly, which made terrain less of a factor...but their state of hovering seemed to be based on the ground, at least to a point, and so rougher terrain could provide him some leverage as he tried to escape from the fervent foes pursuing him. Faustus NecromoniumIf Faust listened hard enough, he could probably hear the Yackety sax theme playing in the backround, as the cone ran away from JPs agents, took a potshot at him, and then retreated. He took a seat on the stairs, watching in turn as it happened again, and tossed his coins again.
"Enjoy it." he called, putting his hands in his face. "I'm enjoying the chase."

Faustus NecromoniumFaust was...honestly kind of interested in seeing how this chase went. So, when a demon emerged, he quickly held up his blade.
"Not now, I'm enjoying the show." Faust called, whipping it around as Aeros blew the demon away. The Cone tripped over it for the finishing blow, but the JPs agents still couldn't land a good hit on it...As Faust moved to scoop up his coins again.
"You know...I suppose this isn't so bad." he called, going back to watching the chase scene some more. Still not his cup of tea...but, still tolerable. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "And now to clean up the spares..." Gin pressed the buttons on his phone lightly, and out appeared Oberon, supercharged as he was. A wave of lightning began lashing every demon in the vicinity as he wiped out several of those sent to pursue him by the Buds. He'd finally lost sight of them coming back down towards the Samegawa, away from the Hilltop, but that didn't mean that he'd lost them for good. It was dangerous to be in this situation for long, so he needed to clear the demons and clear out. Luckily they were no threat to him now, with the power of Oberon that he'd gathered. "Oberon, make quick work of these demons. We have to make sure that those Buds don't head for the center of town to meet up with the other again."
