Slowly Trinity's body was pushing out a body. Trinity was biting down on her blanket to hold in her pained screams. "G-get ready to hold on to the little one." She gasped out.

Shadow complied, getting ready to catch the babies when they popped out, giving Trinity worried glances every now and then to make sure she was doing all right.
(Any chance we could skip the graphic details? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the miracle of life and all, but that doesn't necessarily mean I want to hear the technical thingamajigs of it all.)
After hours, Trinity birthed out three pups. Their cries echoed the cave. Trinity cried as well in joy at how healthy they look. She quickly fixed herself and took out blankets from her pack. She bundled them up as she stared lovingly at their riolu faces.

(THANK YOU!!! ...Anyway... haven't decided what to do for genders (though my knee-jerk reaction is to make the fairy-type female and the fire-type male - dragon-type could go either way) so I'm treating them as gender-neutral for the moment. If you have any objections to the Riolus' looks, let me know, because I'm well aware that the Fairy Riolu being a chibi is probably a cop-out. cat_sweatdrop)
Shadow smiled softly as he beheld his mate and their children. However, he quickly noticed something a bit odd - three somethings, in fact. The first of the new Riolu actually seemed to have scales for the black parts instead of fur, plus small spines along its back and tail. Also, its eyes were rather reptilian-looking, and it had far sharper teeth than a normal Riolu should. Oh, and its Aura was distinctly wild like a Dragon-type's. Aaand now it was gnawing on its paw in a rather adorable fashion as it sniffed at Trinity, though fortunately said gnawing didn't seem to hurt the little guy. The second child was far cuter than a normal Riolu should be. No, that was not an exaggeration - it was quite literally too adorable to be a normal Riolu, and a little on the small side. Its Aura seemed strangely light and ethereal, like that of a Fairy-type. It was currently attempting to reach out and paw at its mother's face, of the distinct opinion that everyone around it was its friend. The third tyke was similarly different; its black markings held a definite resemblance to fire, and the blue parts of its coat were a tad brighter than normal. The fact that its Aura resembled a wildfire was also a big tip-off. The little spitfire was currently examining its parents, eyes burning with curiosity, squirming slightly as if wanting to explore this interesting new world.
Trust: 92 (Can You Get Any More Trusting Than This?) Affection: 100 (Mates for Life) Trauma: 40 (Scarred) Restraint: 50 (Neutral) Level: 24 Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere, Metal Sound Perks:
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Combusken, Saph the Wartortle
Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Human Tongue: Shadow is capable of communicating in English. Should Trust drop below 50, Affection drop below 20, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.
Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques: - Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however. - Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering. - Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Attempting to use this technique beyond the five-minute limit may result in severe and potentially lethal injuries. While using this Aura technique, he cannot use Dark Sphere or any other Aura Arsenal techniques with the exception of Aura Flare, since most of his Aura is channeled throughout his body and the rest is leaking out around him. (WARNING - This technique cannot be controlled until Shadow has the following stats: 40 Trauma, 75 Restraint, level 40. Until then, it will only activate under dire circumstances, and it will usually cause him to lose himself to his instincts, making him attack anything he perceives as a threat (and possibly a few things that he doesn't).)
Improvisation: Shadow can now invent unique attacks based off his existing move set, observation of others' attacks, instinct, or outright improvising. If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations or combinations using that move unless he later remembers said move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation and combination moves do not. - Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability. - Power-Up Pummel (Combination - Power-Up Punch and Quick Attack/Extreme Speed): Shadow combines the speed of a Quick Attack with the fury of a Power-Up Punch, unleashing a flurry of initially weak punches that grow stronger with each hit. (Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.) - Fastball (Combination - Punching/kicking move and Dark Sphere): Shadow creates a Dark Sphere, then punches or kicks it instead of throwing it. This not only boosts the Dark Sphere's speed and power (albeit at the cost of the lock-on feature), but also imbues it with some of the power of the punch/kick used - for example, a Fire Punch will imbue it with fire energy, a Power-Up Punch will make it even stronger, and so on.
Aura Tutor: Shadow is now capable of teaching Trinity and other Pokémon to use Aura. The ones that have the highest chance of being able to learn from him are Fighting-types and Pokémon capable of learning Aura Sphere. Students: Trinity
Mega Evolution (Deactivated): You have a Key Stone and Dark Lucarionite. At ≥90 Trust, ≥90 Affection, ≤50 Trauma, and ≥25 Restraint, Shadow can Mega Evolve.
Enhanced Memory: Shadow can remember more moves than most Pokémon due to the enhancements forced on him. A larger memory could theoretically be added, but exact details are unknown. Current Extra Moveslots: 1

The new mother looked over her new little ones. She took at quick look and saw that she had two sons and a girl. "Hello, my little ones. I'm your mommy." Trinity whispered before looking up to Shadow. "And over there is your papa." She said turning them. The adorable one made happy cries seeing the larger Lucario. He wanted to touch his papa. The other two looked at Shadow curiously. "They're beautiful." Trinity said tearfully. She kissed them on their foreheads before letting the dragon one be offered to be held by his father.

(Eh, that works. Do you want to control them, or do you want me to? Or are they going to be NPCs? ...On a completely unrelated note, isn't the chibi-Riolu just ADORABLE?!?)
Shadow gave that all new fathers had; he came close enough so that the adorable male could touch him more easily, picking up the draconic male so that he could get a closer look. "They are pretty great, aren't they?" he agreed softly, looking at his children and mate lovingly. "What are we going to name them?" He had a few ideas for names, but he wanted to hear what Trinity thought first.

Trinity thought about it as her chibi son snuggled up to her as her daughter sneezed a puff of smoke. Smiling, the new mother said, "I think this little guy could be Oberon, which means elf ruler or Yosei meaning fairy (in Japanese). But I got nothing really. I'm not really good with names. I shocked that the others like their names so well."

Shadow considered the question a moment, still smiling as he watched his children. "Yosei sounds like a good name. As for these other two... how about Ladon for this little guy here and Ember for the girl?" As he spoke, he absentmindedly allowed the dragon-Riolu to nibble on his paw, though he winced slightly at the feel of the sharp teeth.

Trinity nodded, "Those are good." She said taking back Ladon. She kissed his forehead then offered the three a bottle of milk. She had secretly pumped her chest for breast milk. The new mother didn't think her nibbles would be safe against their tiny teeth. She was amazingly able to feed the three all at once. Yosei had dazed eyes as he drank while the other two were more alert. "I feel like I'll need to keep an eye on Ladon and Ember. They look like the explorers in the litter." trinity teased.

Shadow chuckled lightly. "True; Ladon seems like he's going to be the wild one of the bunch, while Ember already seems like a little spitfire, no pun intended," he noted, laying by his mate and children and taking the opportunity to examine the little tykes more closely. "As for Yosei, he seems pretty cheerful - friendly, too." Sure enough, as soon as Yosei was done drinking, he took notice of his new siblings, pawing at them with playful curiosity. Shadow cracked a small smile, mentally noting that they'd probably be a hit with Rex and vice-versa.

Dita smiled from her place by Rex. She snuggled in to him after making sure the new family were ok. Trinity yawned before snuggling up to Shadow. She made sure her pups were bundled up tight in their blankets so that they stay safe. "I so tired." She groaned out as she slowly slipped to sleep. Her body held tight to her pups.

Shadow smiled a little wider, doing to sleep next to his beloved, keeping her and his children close. The next morning, Dusk was the first to awaken, being a light sleeper, moving silently and taking note of who was still around, he soon spotted the three new additions to their group, quirking an eyebrow at the triplets in Trinity's arms.

Yosei woke up first of his family. He saw dusk in the shadows. He happily made cries to him waving his paws at him. The pup really wanted the 'new thing' to come closer. Trinity groaned a little as she heard the happy cries. She opened her eyes and saw a dark figure and Yosei happily waving at it. Trinity instantly had yosei closer before she recognized it was Dusk.

Fortunately, Dusk didn't seem to be offended by her instinctive reaction; then again, judging from the look on his face and the way he was staring, he was probably too busy trying to figure out why on Earth a baby would want to be near him of all people. Weren't they supposed to have some inborn instinct about who was trustworthy and safe or something? Because he was pretty sure he fit neither of those criteria. Shadow awoke as well, blinking as he took stock of the situation - specifically Yosei's happy cries and Dusk's utterly baffled expression. "Why don't you come over, say hello to the kids?" Shadow offered gently. Dusk hesitated, then complied, coming close enough for Yosei to touch him. Immediately the adorable little Riolu began pawing cutely at the Zoroark, making his usual happy noises as he did so.
Trust: 92 (Can You Get Any More Trusting Than This?) Affection: 100 (Mates for Life) Trauma: 40 (Scarred) Restraint: 50 (Neutral) Level (Approximate): 24 Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere, Metal Sound Perks:

Trinity let Yosei go to paw at Dusk. She then looked over her other two. Laden was looking at Dusk while Ember fussed for some food. Trinity turned from Shadow and Dusk to pump out some milk. Trinity blushed as she filled up a couple bottles. She quickly cradled Ember to feed her daughter. "The one that is pawing at you is Yosei, we're not sure what type he is as for the other two. The dragon type is Laden and this fire type is Ember." Trinity said to Dusk. Yosei started to glow like the move Dazzling Gleam. A powerful fairy type move but this was just to highlight how cute he is. Dita woke up slightly at the feeling of a powerful fairy before going back to sleep on Rex.
