Hope was a weaknessOOC Someone(s) needs to damage the ??? figure carrying Harland for 30 damage before he is freed! If this does not happen within two pages of when this post was post, the Harland is taken away (just quote me with bold red if this happens)

Cee got dangerously close to getting attacked, but the hammer swung wide at the last second and crashed into the ground. "Bloody hell, woman," Nora growled. "I'm not infected, I just busted his melon open!" And Beatrix was not pleased to be coated in something else's guts.
"It's Cee, right? Scare aside, it's good to see a friendly face. Who else is there?" She squinted. "Oh, the budgies! Excellent, and a flashlight too. D'you all think we should hit the wall then? Someone's nattering about it, and I haven't got a clue what else to do. Abbi, dear, over here!" she called towards the Moon, wiggling her hammer around so that the runes faintly traced lines in the air. "Your foul-mouthed friend around?"

Dakota didn't know what else he could say, what he could plead. In the sense that all of his sense was gone, he desperately clung to the not Julie, and projecting her to be Julie.
"Make it, why-" He was confused, because she was hungry wasn't she? and he had left her, and famine always fed from the flesh and used the bugs and used them as their home.
He didn't have much longer to wonder about anything as he was hit over the head, and blackness sweeped in.
At first he thought he was back in Scavengers home, in the caves in the oasis city. had him coming home just been a dream? It'd've made sense, why would Famine let him go, and he could've never escaped. He didn't groan as he came too, his eyes slowly sliding opening. He expected to see sand and the soft firelight from the fire torches and to see water and cave...instead it was pitch black and he felt humans, or zombies. He felt himself tied down, and barely struggled against the restraints, he was too weak to break them anyways.
But why the ******** was he tied down? Scavenger wouldn't do that, the b*****d liked to pin with heavy rocks or have him held down. The soft groans started to stire and his eyes strained for something....anything.
"J...Julie?"

Maebe's clambering to get back to 'high ground' was met with Jude saying phrases like, "Mae no."
"Mae, stop .. I need to get.."
"Mae, please chill out for a sec...!"
Until he had eventually turned the light on and the situation resolved itself.
Well, for the brief second the light was on and they were met with something brand new to deal with. Jude let out a small hiss of displeasure and had no problem just turning the light back off.
"..I vote we run for it..." His hand was already reaching to grab a hold of her wrist.

pinchmonster Fighting did little good, and Tuck was soon swept away.
At some point they finally stopped. The one of the infected moved over, and there was an audible click. A mechanical whirring, followed by more clicking overwhelmed the room. It escalated to a low churning noise,
There was a long pause, and then they dragged Tuck forward, pushed him up, up against cold iron-
- Splash-
- He fell right into something warm and cold at the same time, something that smelt like metal and rotting flesh. It was churning, all around him.
The grinding noise continued. pinchmonster Tuck can try and free himself out of the ???? To do so, he has to avoid the center, as this is where it seems everything is getting funneled. As long as he reaches the edge he is okay. Roll 1d4. Keep on rolling until he is freed. 1- A body hits him! Or half a body. It stuns him temporarily. 2 - He feels something cling to his coat, dragging him downwards again. He temporarily is submerged in the sea of bodies3 - The clanking noise stops. Everything is subdued for a second, giving him precious moments to move forward. 4 - He is free! he breaks out, and falls out of the contraption. Quote Zoobey once you are free!

It was no use. There was no way she could get through that mass of infected, not on her own at least.
Lydia lowered her flashlight from the hole, and instead swept the light around, looking for another way out.

"Come this way Nellie!" She shouted to the girl, she wasn't that sure how new Nellie was but she was a pretty unfamiliar face and to say the least Harlow was worried about her.
Harlow was completely unaware of what was going on with Zascha he could hear that he was upset but she was unsure of why. Either way She was far more interested in the seeming exit that she had pointed her flash light at. Were those bodies? She wasn't even sure if she cared right now because that looked like it was going to be their best way out. "Not for long!" She was about to take a step in the direction of the pile, about to explain to Zascha that they could move everything that is until he grabbed her arm.
She was stopped in her tracks however as Zascha grabbed her arm and pulled her back, before she could speak he was summoning her weapon. Alarmed, she too summoned her weapon she stood her ground however, she was completely dumbfounded on what he was doing "Zascha what the actual ********> She yelled after him, she held neci in one hand and attempted to use the other hand She pointed the flash light in the direction he was running She was trying to figure out what he was doing but honestly she was ready to drop the flashlight and start fighting.

Lucky did not find a flashlight that time, but he did find someone's shoe. And leg. There was something awkwardly familiar about it but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Well, he was, but that wasn't really the point. Meanwhile, his other hand did in fact make contact with something that felt useful enough to pick up, so at least there was that.

Evan had tried, though his valiant efforts had only attracted the attention of more of the infected. They began to follow him, shambling slowly. Inle-roo Evan has to keep on moving! If he stops to talk to someone, he WILL get attacked. He can also try to face them. They have a pool HP of 30. If he misses, he is infected, otherwise if he clears them, he is free for now. IF YOU GET INFECTED: Please post BOLD GREEN THAT YOUR CHAR IS INFECTED the top of your post. Feel free to interact normally, right now they are still at the earliest stages of infection. Feel free to still do action posts in bold red

He was alone. Alone and all he could do was stay away from the center of the room. Tuck had no idea what was going on, but he refused to let himself be afraid. It was a mission. Just a mission. He summoned Herryk, the weight of the weapon in his hands enough to soothe his nerves. He'd seen Evan try to help, had heard Stormy's screams, Noemi's cries. In the end it hadn't done anyone any good. They'd ******** left him. They'd left him, they'd left him, and that thought more than anything was what fueled him. It wasn't the thought of Heidi, or Gnat. It was the fact that Stormy and Evan had ******** left him. He'd get out of here. He'd get out of here if only to remind them both of what they'd done.
