Elves Lie -I- silent_ame -I- Elves Lie After they finished eating, he helped her pick everything up and wash the dishes then sat down and began doing his homework. He smiled softly then looked up at Alyssa. "Still feels a little odd doing homework here." He said, meaning their home (They have a camera by your avi you can click. It takes you here.Alyssa helped clean up takings a bit slower so she wouldnt hurt herself with anything. She sat down pulling out the little homework she managed to get. "How come?" She asked him. (Oh thats interesting.) "I don't know, I guess it's because it feels peaceful here. Not like my parents, where I was always being bothered. Here is comforting." Michael said as he looked at Alyssa then around their apartment. They didn't have much, but still, he would gladly live here than at his parents' house. "This place is smaller than my parents' place, yet it feels ten times bigger." He said then looked over at her. "How does this place make you feel?" He asked, though he couldn't help but imagine it must be ten times better than the hell hole she lived in before. Alyssa listened as he explained. She smiled. "I agree it does feel bigger although its not much I feel like I have so much more. Here im free, im happy, i dont feel afraid. I dont have to monitor everything I do for fear of getting beaten" she said and held his hand. "Here I feel loved" she said and kissed his cheek.

Michael said as he looked at Alyssa then around their apartment. They didn't have much, but still, he would gladly live here than at his parents' house. "This place is smaller than my parents' place, yet it feels ten times bigger." He said then looked over at her. "How does this place make you feel?" He asked, though he couldn't help but imagine it must be ten times better than the hell hole she lived in before. Alyssa listened as he explained. She smiled. Michael smiled and blushed deeply when Alyssa kissed his cheek. "Good. Because you are loved." He told her and kissed her hand. "That's the only thing I want you to feel around me. I don't ever want you to think you have to fear me." He told her with a Warm smile. Though he wascprone to outbursts of rage, he swore to himself that he would never direct his anger at her.

-I- silent_ame -I- Alyssa smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. After a few minutes she sat up. "We should finish our homework" she said and started to work again. Michael smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Let's get this done." He said and got back to his homework. After about an hour of steady work, he set his pencil down. "Finally done... How's it going for you." He said as he looked over at Alyssa.

-I- silent_ame -I- Alyssa smiled. She nodded. "Yeah a walk sounds nice" she said taking his hand and standing to her feet. Michael held Alyssa's hand as they headed out and walked around for a while. They ended up at the park close to their house and walked through it. "I used to play here when I was younger." He said as he looked around. There were still a few things that he played on when he was a kid.

Alyssa smiled holding his hand and walking around with him. She looked at the playground when they got to the park they had been to before. She smiled thinking about him playing as a kid. "I used to have a playground in my backyard but sometimes my parents would take me to the park to play with other kids" she said.

Michael smiled and laughed softly. "I can imagine you running around and laughing as a kid." He said as he moved his arm around Alyssa's waist. He held her close as they walked through the park. They found a bench and sat down for a bit. "Do you want to stay home from school tomorrow?" He asked her, glancing over at her. She seemed to need some rest and he wanted her to be able to recuperate.

Alyssa smiled when he wrapped his arms around her. She felt so safe and comfortable she had forgottwn about the incident today until he brought it up. "I don't know. I think I can go but i dont think ill be going to the bathroom at school for a while" she said sitting down with him. "Its not that bad" she refering to her head.

"Alright. If you want to go, we'll go." Michael told her and smiled softly at her. He kissed her temple. They sat there for a bit until he yawned and checked his watched. "Wow. It's almost midnight. Tonight went by quick." He said and smiled at her.
