With Leo's face hidden from her, Sasha could only pat his back and hug him while he cried. All she understood before he buried his face against her was that Leo apparently kissed Asher and he shoved him away. Of course, as she didn't witness it, she wasn't sure if the elder had been disgusted or shocked. Perhaps her brother and the twins had already continued toward the room to find out.

In the meantime, Sasha could only silently comfort Leo. She couldn't think of anything she could say without making anything worse. Her eyes were already tearing up now and her throat constricted, so she might not be able to say anything anyways.

"Leo, want to go to the cafeteria with me? I don't think you ate anything since yesterday," Sasha said, trying to change to subject. Based on Leo's distress, she did worry that maybe Asher didn't care for his brother as much as he let on. If she had read Leo's lips correctly before, he had been worried that Asher might not want to be his brother anymore. If a kiss was going to make the elder hate Leo, then it would be best if they stopped being brothers. It would be Asher's loss, anyways, and Sasha was sure her own brother and the twins would gladly take Leo in.

Sasha led Leo to the cafeteria and got for him some cookies n' cream ice cream, which she had recalled him saying was one of his favorites. For herself, she got vanilla. After paying for the treats, she led Leo to a two-chair table and sat down. "So, Leo... How should I say...?" she stumbled over her words, not wanting to make Leo cry, but also wanting to bring up the subject and try to help him get over his heartbreak. "If... You know we'll take you in if... well, you know... We probably won't be able to replace him, but we'll do our best..."

Sasha ate some ice cream while she thought of her answer. She certainly believed it would be better for Leo to go back, but what if Asher did hate him? Perhaps she'll talk to her brother and the twins first. "I think you should go back, but only after I've talked with Sam. They're probably with him right now, so they probably know how he's fairing," she answered. "Leo, you know your brother the best. What do you think he would say? Do you believe he still cares for you?"

So Asher had pushed Leo away? It was just as Sasha thought, but she was at least glad that Leo still believed his brother would still care about him. The moment of truth would be once they return to the elder's room. "Just think of it this way: if Asher was going to hate you for kissing him, then why did he risk his life for you?" Sasha said. "You're more important to him than life itself. It's just about impossible to change that."

Sasha nodded hesitantly, finishing her ice cream as well. "Yeah, let's go." She stood up and extended her hand for Leo to take. Once he took it, she led him back to Asher's room, peeking through the door to check any conversation. She studied Leo's brother, and he looked more conflicted and concerned rather than angry. It seemed clear that Asher didn't hate Leo or anything. Far from it, actually. He was asking Sam and the twins if they had seen Leo run by, and if Sasha was with him.

Sasha pulled away from the door with a smile and nudged Leo toward the room. "Go to him. He's worried about you," she said, opening the door for him to go through. She could see that he was very anxious, and with good reason, but she was sure he would feel much better once he talked to his brother.
