I will haunt the thesaurus an rewrite it a thousand times! (okay, not always...)
I usually get myself into trouble with how I word things xD
(luckily I haven't done that yet. phew!)
what usually works for me, though, is leaving it alone... and coming back to it with a fresh start and new eyes. When I get too frustrated with it, I leave it alone and do something else. Usually browse pictures for inspiration or do other roleplays. It doesn't always work but usually does... probably because, the longer you nitpick it, the more you see wrong with it. Coming back, you realize it wasn't as bad as you thought it was...

I don't mind short bios cause when the char explains their story it isn't redundant, just a general over view will do for me. Then the story making can begin! biggrin
