@ JK - Oh wow, Code Geass spoilers can be really bad. Hope you can make time for it, it was... amazingly hilarious.
And hey! Fruits Basket and Yu Yu Hakusho, I like those too. And speaking of YYH, Hunter x Hunter too! Togashi is an amazing man. And I only read one volume of FAKE, and I liked it a lot. It's the only BL I ever liked.
@ Ketz - Florida! O-oh. xD And EarthBound came out in the United States in, like, '95 or something. I... I don't own my SNES anymore so to play it I... just sorta played it on the computer instead. And yeah, pretty much! And hey, I just played a structure deck that used spell counters in my DS game today. It was pretty interesting to use. <: Utena too~? Awesome! :D

I see. :3 Looks like we're in the two most sunny states then, as I live in Arizona. Really? Then what game am I thinking of? XD;; Was it Mother that didn't come out? *fails at this* I was never too fond of spell counters. XD;; Like I don't even know why. They just always seemed more of like... something that would be in Pokemon over YUU*GI*OU. Didn't seem to fit in the game quite right to me. Also could've been because this annoying kid who always wanted to duel me while I was trying to do homework used a lot of spell counters. He had crappy strategy with them though, so they hardly benefited him at all. Yes, Utena! <3 Never got very far into it, so I can't say it's one of my favorites, but I did like what I managed to read/see!

@Kits - I'll probably never have a way to play the game, so I actually probably don't care about spoilers, anyhow I kinda just wanted some mini-insight into the series...though not enough to buy the manga. We'll see. I don't think I have any friend who has a Wii who would be willing to download that game, nor that I'd really get a chance to play on. I mean they'd probably do it if I asked if I paid for the game (they would not be interested, most of them are straight males), I just really wouldn't get to play. They aren't people whose places I hang at outside of parties (in which case Rock Band or something is going on). Besides, I'm moving in 6 months, so it really wouldn't be worth it. My friend gave me his DS, but as I'd feel bad keeping it even if he lets me, I'm returning it when I move to England. So I don't really want to buy games for it.
I think English voices have the potential to be more annoying than a lot of Japanese voices, but I have few Japanese voices I absolutely adore. Again as I can hear gender in a lot of voices, the fact that a lot of male characters are played by female voice actors in the Japanese versions, I also tend to get annoyed because it pulls me out of the series. I'm too distracted by what I can hear as "wrong." Things that are illogical pull me out of fantasy often, which is why Fruba is probably the one series I really don't like to watch the sub in. I mean on a main character I just can never get away. The discrepancies become maddening.
It's really annoying, it'd be good, it has nice roots, but it needed a much better editor. But I LOVE so many characters, so I suffer the choppy plot for them.
I meant that to mean keeping your promises. Not as in having strict unchanging beliefs, because yes, I don't believe in that either. But if someone promises me a hug they had better deliver! Hehe, and as you delivered the character thread, like it or not, you've stood by your word, and I thank you for keeping that promise ^_~. And my bad, I'm so sorry, Captain Failcon.
Ooh, that reminds me I need to watch it. As soon as I'm not in the room with my mom, not that she'd care but she is kinda watching TV right now, that would rude ^_~. Technically I'm watching this too rofl .
I still need to read Okane ga Nai.
I think the only games I have an interest in outside of just playing it (that is any interest in characterization and the misc fandom) would be Legacy of Kain and Crash. I did really like Sonic too, but never owning a Sega (or a Nintendo, THEFT! Haha, that came up last night at a party I was at) makes it hard to get too into it myself. I really want to play Portal, that cake song (Still Alive by Glados) is on Rock Band and that got everyone talking about Portal and ugh I wanna play! Need to figure out a way to do that!!
Yea, a lot of the series I've read have been shounen ai (only volume 7 of Fake counts as yaoi), I wanted to try...I think it was Love Mode but don't quote me, but never got around to it. Yaoi scans are sometimes harder to find online than other things so it makes it harder to not invest in a series, and I don't want to spend the money right now. DanyxDany write rather good one shots though, you actually get a plot and the art is gorgeous. I'd definitely recommend The Lily and the Rose. I'm not sure how I feel about Anima, their newest work, but the art is still amazing and there is a story (I'm just not sure how I feel about it, it's based in a steam-punk future type deal?).
@Rik - I definitely get the feeling they can be, so yea, I'll try to squeeze some of that and Princess Tutu into Naruto around reading YYH and OHC ~_~. I really loved Fake. It's weird, I read volume 1 at Yaoi-con 3 years ago, and wasn't sure how I felt about it, but I could not stop thinking about it and NEEDED it, so I caved and asked for it that Christmas (and got most of it and used the gift cards I received to get the rest). I really ended up loving it, the OVA was cute too though I of course want more! I'd definitely recommend reading the rest if you ever get a chance.
@Both - Hey I'm in California! We are pretty sunny here too, definitely more so than like WA or NY or something ^_~. Though yes I'm sure AZ and FL both win - especially with me being from NorCal, now if I was in SoCal maybe it'd be a different story. I'd be freezing in January while my friends in SD, LA, etc would be tanning at the beach... razz

Awww, that's too bad. But it's definitely understandable. D: Just keep Ace Attorney in mind if you ever do get a chance to play them. Though really, I've never even met a guy who's played them and didn't like them; not just for girls. I think even keeping promises can have exceptions where it's better not to. Like if you promise your friend to always keep their secrets, and they tell you they're going to go shoot up a school, maybe that's a secret you shouldn't keep. Of course, that's an extreme example, and there are many other examples that are not-so-extreme. XD;; But anyway, I may end up breaking my promise with the character threads, at least if we're breaking out of actual character conversations and going more into cheese conversations. XD;; Hope that's okay. Yes, read Okane ga Nai! Almost all the volumes are translated on Manga Fox. Just be careful of the ads, as they sometimes have viruses. X_x Portal is so much fun! =D I also got interested in it through Still Alive, though I heard it on a VGCats animation before Rock Band had even come out, and played it around the time that Rock Band first arrived. I payed my friend to download it when I heard you could for the game. XD Portal itself, it's first-person, so that will take some getting used to, since you're not really a first-person player. But it's all about puzzles over battling, and Glados is hilarious. It's a pretty short game though; could be beat in a day by skilled players. And in my opinion, Nintendo didn't so much steal Sonic, as they out-right saved his a** from disappearing into eternity. wink Yeah, it's difficult to find yaoi series online, but at least they're generally only one or two volumes, so they're not too difficult to buy a complete collection. I'll check out Lily and the Rose. =D Is it about a lesbian and gay guy or something? (in Japan, Lily Tribe=lesbians, Rose Tribe=gay guys) I really need to finish Fake as well! The OVA was what got me into it though and I loved it! <3 Such good animation and voices, and I loved the opening song! I wish they did more... ;_; Haha, Arizona has about 300 days of cloudless skies a year. XD I think California has a little less than that, considering how many storms you guys get from the ocean.

Well, most of my guy friends are either into rpg/shooter/battle type games (Halo, WoW, Call of Duty, City of Heroes/Villains, etc), racing games, or Rock Band/Guitar hero. They'll get into other things but not to any cult level, and they probably wouldn't want to buy these games and I don't necessarily want to buy games for a system I'd rarely be able to get at. I mean the person I see the most I'm still probably only at his place once every month or two, and it would probably be rude to go sit in the corner and play Ace Attorney while everyone else was social ^_~.
Haha, well no I didn't mean extremes. I meant more like actions, if I say I'm going to do something I'm going to do it. And promises relating to what other people are going to do is never a good idea anyhow. If I make a promise it's only reflective of me and my actions, what I'm in control of. So if I promise to shoot up the school by golly I'm gunna do it! JUST KIDDING!!! Hahaha, I swear I'm not going to go shoot anything, I'm very anti-guns. Even for protection. I'm sorry, but the argument for my protection does not sway with me, I wouldn't be able to take someone else's life even for my own protection. It's not my right to choose who gets to live and die, I hate that other people feel so easy at making that choice but that doesn't mean I'm just going to join in because it seems better to fight. Anyhow back to topic, I'm not actually going to hold you to being on top of threads, I'm patient, really I am.
I read the first volume, I downloaded almost all of it (I'm starting to get worried that only "almost all of it" is anywhere) - I don't even know where from actually - a long time ago, it was supposed to be what I'd read whenever my internet was out, but I kept forgetting about it, I still remember what I read but I feel like I should reread anyhow before I go on. And yes, I'm always careful of ads, I don't really ever click ads because they annoy me. Well, sometimes I do on facebook, but never on anime/manga sites - too much spam. And I'm always ALWAYS wary of flash ads.
Well, Golden Eye was first person and I got used to that, and in games where it's an option I'll go back and forth just to play with it. True I usually prefer to stay in third, but I have been able to work my way through first before, so that won't be too much of a shock. I think I could more easily talk people into Portals, actually, more people probably have it than I'm aware of, but again I just don't spend much time around others consoles. I will play it one day though, one day! Another game I really like is called Explosion Man (something like that), it's on Xbox so bah! The last system I ever want, but it's totally fun. You go around blowing people up and they turn into meat!! It's so silly and fun. My friend had the trial but he didn't want the game, and me and my other friend liked it but not enough to pay him to download it (she was also in the process of breaking up with him at the time, so part of why that would be silly is she was planning on a stage of awkwardness and then at least some new degree of distance for most likely forever after).
Nah, they are dirty rotten thieves! Maybe Sonic would have kept Sega alive if they hadn't!! Haha, no I don't really care, neither did my friends, we were just joking. I mean I have nostalgic Genesis memories, but yes, Sega really did need to die. Like Atari, it had it's glory, but it was technologically inferior and had to accept it's demise gracefully (Dreamcast you were not an example of graceful, you were an example of clinging to a cliff screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOO, haha. Oh well, can't blame someone for trying not to die ^_~).
Yes! You should, the OVA is great but it doesn't even reflect the best of the series. I wish they'd made more too, it woulda been awesome! I should watch the OVA again sometime, it's sitting on my shelf all sad. I should watch Chrono Crusade first though, as I've yet to watch that once and it's also on my shelf (and Chrono Crusade is most likely my favorite manga, I haven't fully been able to commit to this yet, but it probably is). The manga was awesome but made me really sad so I haven't been able to work up to it yet. But yes, finish Fake, I don't know if it's anywhere online since I only briefly looked and that just caved and bought it, since it was only 7 volumes. I think there was a followup series actually, but I've avoided looking into that, don't need the temptation.
Well remember most of California is not on the ocean, there is a lot more to the state than coast. Which is why despite stereotypes, we are not all bleached blond surfers ^_~. And in Southern California it might just be close to 300 sunny days a year as well, it's definitely well over 200. Mid Cal is barren wasteland (ok the people who live there might not think so but they are crazy) so who cares what the weather is (it's the one thing we Norcalians agree with the Socalians about). Northern California that isn't true, some places are more mild than others, and you do have areas like Tahoe and Yreka and whatnot which are nice and snowy for much of the year. Still, it's sunnier than most states (not AZ and FL actually, but most). And the one thing I hated about Florida - warm rain. If I'm getting rained on it had better be cold!

Boo on Halo. Boo on Call of Duty. Boo on WoW. Don't know what City of Heroes is. XD;; Haha, I kid, though I really am not so into those types of games. I tend to be against guns as well... not super strictly, but enough so that I prefer not to have them near me. The thing is that the original group that was scanlating Okane ga Nai passed it over to another group, and that new group isn't really making downloads available. Manga Fox has all of the newest updates though, including ones you can't download. I think in Japan on they're on eight volumes right now, and on Manga Fox they have just put up the first chapter of volume eight. It's almost caught up. Portal is nice, because it comes with The Orange Box, which has a bunch of other good games on it, and is pretty cheap. You can get it for PC or Xbox. I do feel sad for what happened with Sega, but it means Nintendo won so yeah. I think all of Fake is on Manga Fox as well. :3 Ah, true. I do remember driving through barren parts of California that are pretty much the barren parts of Arizona, except maybe a little cooler. XD

I'm not either, and I'm only vaguely familiar with all, but I think City of Heroes/Villains is similar to Call of Duty or Halo, but don't quote me. I've never even seen that one played.
Yea, I'm not taking a stand on Second Amendment rights or anything, the constitution is both complex and horribly perverted, and people are biased, arrogant, fearful and confused. It's just too much, but yes, I don't like them around me as well.
Ok, good to know. I have 6 volumes downloaded (just checked), so I'll go to Manga Fox for 7 and wait for 8, I'll probably be slower about getting to it now though since it's both in progress and slowly being scanned.
Yea, I know you can get it for PC, I've had too many computer fails right now to want to do that, but whenever I get a new computer that's probably on my list of things to get. I also have friends who are trying to get me into Spore...but idk if I really feel like that.
Haha, aww, I gotta root for the underdog. I mean if PlayStation won I'd be doing the same thing as you I'm sure, but as that's not for consideration, I can therefore feel sad for Sega and just view Nintendo as a bully, haha. I do like that there are competitive systems, it keeps gaming on it's toes, and it provides options. I wish the movie industry had the kind of competition the music and gaming industry do.
Oh that's good, go read then! Haha. I haven't used Manga Fox before, at least not that I'm aware. Mainly I use Spectrum (it's probably not even the best - though it does have a pretty broad yaoi collection which is neat - but it's what I've been using the longest so you know, nostalgia ^_~) or One Manga for things I can't find on Spectrum (or for when the translations are just TOO awful. I do also like that Spectrum has full pages though).
Yup, I prefer the bay area because it has some of the most mild, moderate weather in the world. I hate hate hot, but I don't want to freeze all the time. Unlike Mid Cal, which likes to have it's 110 - 120/130+ degree summers, our highs usually don't go far past 100, the worst summers were around 105 here. Even Davis wasn't too bad, the worst summer was around 115 for most of June, July and August and it doesn't usually get that bad. SoCal is sunny most of the year but it's not hot hot like the more desert like areas.

Not at all familiar with City of Heroes/Villains. Have watched Call of Duty be played a bit, same with WoW. Halo I've played myself and wow... so boring. The constitution makes me sad. It was written decades ago, so why do people act like it's the completely perfect moral law? Just because something's unconstitutional doesn't mean it's amoral. Fair enough. It was quite torturous during the transfer of Okane ga Nai translators, because it took forever to start getting new scans again. XD;; I waited so long and was missing it so much... I've heard from most of my friends who have played that Spore ended up not being that great. Apparently it was super over-hyped, and it was really just a decent game, but nothing more. I have a shirt that says, "Uke: Root for the Underdog." cool It makes me think of Jounouchi. XD Haha, but I don't care who the underdog is so much. Nintendo has always been the one I'm most into. I will in time! Just... no time at the moment... *angst* Fake will definitely be the manga I start on once I finish Kenshin though! (I've been on the last five or so chapters for almost a year now... for some reason I can't get myself to finish it) I like Manga Fox because it seems to have the biggest selection of manga, at least from sites I've visited (plus the name wins). Plus it's okay with putting up explicit stuff like Okane ga Nai. But it has tons of ads and is kind of virus dangerous, so I only go there for series I can't find anywhere else. I'll have to check Spectrum out though. o.o Been wanting to find a manga site with a good yaoi collection. I usually go to One Manga for most series. Arizona tends to vary in whether a lot as well, like it actually snows in northern Arizona and stuff. We just don't have any super nice areas where it doesn't get too hot but doesn't know. You either get snow or extreme heat.

I've only seen Halo (yawn me to death) and WoW being played. I mean WoW I at least get the appeal, I do. I'd never play myself, I mean first I like online and gaming to be separate things. I've never even played The Sims online and doubt I'd want to. Secondly, I don't want to pay a monthly fee. On the one hand the principal offends me that you have to keep paying to play, and on the other I have an addictive personality and would need to keep doing so.
Waiting is indeed tragic, but I did already start it - unlike the Yami no Matsuei manga, so I shall press through with that one, though I might just wait 6 months or so. Once I move halfway across the world from my books it'll be nice to still have things to read, that aren't for school. I've also still got the pdf of The Alchemyst they gave out on here a year or so ago? Same purpose.
Well I have friends who've played it who loved it so idk, guess it depends on what you are into. Seems very Sims like to me, I don't need another Sims.
My friend has a pin that says that, haha.
That's how I was with Gravitation, finally pushed through the last 3 chapters. I definitely liked it more in the beginning than I did in the end, and won't be reading the other series. I liked characters, but ended up finding the plot to go off in an undesirable direction. Fake will be a very fast read when you get to it, like seriously, I read 3-4 books in a day. That's only because I never had more than that at a time. I read 1 at Yaoi-con, reread 1, then read 2, 3, and 4 when I first got them. Then I bought 5 and 7 which was MADDENING! I could not for the life of me find 6!! I finally was able to order it, seemingly took forever. And then I read 6 and 7 within one night. Actually I think I'm feeling up for a quick reread soon, at least a reskim of some of my favorite parts. It is really a rather awesome series.
Yea, I'll keep Manga Fox in mind for things I can't find elsewhere I actually haven't looked to see where the rest of Okane ga Nai might be, since I haven't gotten beyond volume 1 yet. But yea, I haven't gone through Spectrum's yaoi stuff in depth, but it has like a whole long page of things, maybe more now. It was actually a new addition a couple of years ago, I actually haven't been on in that part in awhile though. I should go check it out again soon.
That sucks, I love my nice mild bay area, haha. It has it's point where it's too hot (for my tastes), and a point where it's two cold (for the tastes of others, though not mine), but mostly it's really moderate and comfortable, especially in comparison to a lot of the world.

Yeah, what you described for WoW is pretty much exactly how I feel. Sounds like a plan to me. :3 Yeah, it kind of sounds like a more customizable Sims, but with aliens instead. Kenshin was kind of like that... but rather where how Gravitation slowly dwindled into worse and worse territory as it went on Kenshin was just really good until like... the last ten or twenty chapters, then it just didn't feel like Kenshin anymore, and was only decent. I just got bored with it, even though I was so near the end. Ah, now I'm really in the mood to read some Fake though! But I'm also really in the mood to keep laying Ace Attorney with Legs so... wah. If Spectrum has Red and/or Stolen Heart. =D They're both only one volume, but very good. Bay area does have very nice weather. Only thing I don't like is the humidity. For someone who has never lived with much humidity at all, I can't stand it when I am in it. X_x

Someone who understands how I feel...wow! Hahaha, sorry, I couldn't resist. Gotta love hitting nails on the head ^_~.
Yea, and aliens don't do it for me as much as people, besides, the Sims do have aliens too. And vampires, werewolves, robots, witches, social bunnies, etc etc etc. I think you get some more control over building the world? But that's not something I want to do, I like a set world that I build life into.
Ah, that's kinda how I feel about the Fruba manga, loved it all the way through volume 22, and then I really hate the way volume 23 wraps up and ends everything. So as far as ending goes I kind of like the anime better, even though the anime doesn't even get into the stuff I love before it ends, but from what it does do I like the way it finishes a bit better.
Sad, don't see either of those, although I just found Yellow, which I'd been debating trying. My friend got me Red Angel for Christmas two years ago (the first one, luckily it's only two parts, I kinda hate when people buy me a long series, - unless I've said I want it - because they I have to complete it if I like it) and it's by the same author. It has Yami no Matsuei as well.
Oh crap, clicked on the first volume to look at it, just looking at the little icons I a enticed ahh!! Well it's only four volumes at least xd .
The Bay actually isn't very humid at all, I mean I know you live in a desert so it's really hard to compare, but compared to places like Florida, Michigan, Korea (haven't been there, but I've had a lot of friends who came over here for school) etc...we've got nothing. I've never even heard anyone describe the bay as humid. Because yea, I hate humidity as well, if it's hot I'd rather the heat be dry. In general though I just hate heat. Warms ok, but I'll take the cold extreme for sure. Heat makes you sweat, which is sticky and gross, I don't like to be gross, haha.

Oh wow, I must've been quite tired when I wrote my last post. Two important corrections: 1. I meant to suggest that you should read Red or Stolen Heart. XD;; I didn't just want to randomly list them as possibilities of being on spectrum and then say the were good. 2. I meant playing Ace Attorney with Legs, playing!! XD;;;; Not laying... >///>
But no, seriously, you worded my feelings for WoW probably better than I could've. XD But see, Kenshin I didn't absolutely hate... it just suddenly wasn't as good as it had been. Not awful though. But wow, I absolutely hated how the Fruits Basket anime ended so... now I'm afraid to read the manga. o.o You mean Yellow and Red Angel are by the same author, right? Haha, oh, I'm quite sure the bay isn't as humid as many other places, but to me, and to other people from Arizona, it's friggin' humid! XD;; Like we always talk about loving taking vacations at the bay, but how we hate the humidity, and pretty much everyone from here agrees with that. My hair goes insane when I'm in the bay area. To me that kind of humidity is more gross than just sweating from heat, but that's probably because I'm used to it. XP

1. Oh I got that, I was just implying that darn they aren't there because that would be nice and convenient and free. 2. I was rereading my post over and over again to see if I made fun of you for saying that or something, because you never really address your typos so I felt like I must have said something. But alas, that particular typo just offended you, haha. Anyhow yea, I figured that one out ^_~. Actually, you know what, come to think of it...I so did not. However it made sense to me that you could be laying Ace (if Ace was a character) with Legs (another possible character) in this game. Because that seemed like an appealing game feature to me, getting characters laid ^_~.
Haha, aww, that makes me feel kind of special...and psychic! muwhahaha twisted , j/k j/k!!
Well, the anime just fell of a cliff which so many animes do that I didn't care. I didn't hate the Fruba manga ending I just thought it wasn't a very good ending. I don't like certain pairings, and it just got TOO wrapped up, except for like two characters who then it annoyed me that they were the only characters in the whole series floating. Because seriously it wrapped up EVERYONE (in some fashion or other). Hope that's not too much of a spoiler, I won't give details or even tell you pairings I like which would allow you to guess pairings I hate. Anyhow the manga is nothing like the anime, just so you know, not even close. And I adore Momiji in the manga but he annoyed me so much in the anime. Well, he annoys me in the manga at first too, but he grows up, and he gets so deep and has his own tragedies and it's just oh man, heart exploding with love! Plus you know the way he envisions himself in that one episode in the anime? Where he's way cute? Well after about volume 8 or 9 or so that's how he looks...score!
Yes, I mean Yellow and Red Angel are by the same author. And then I meant Spectrum had Yaoi Matsuei on it as well, yes I know THAT isn't by the same author, haha. I liked Red Angel but it was kinda weird, and I think Yellow will be more to my tastes, though I keep going out and by the time I get through guilds and stuff I've yet to have time to read it. Oh well, I need to really read A Lion Among Men, I'm only around page 90, making such slow progress, but I'm having a really hard time getting into that, way more than the other two. It's due back at the library Sunday, I could renew it but I'd really rather not have to.
Yea, you live in the desert, pretty much the whole world is humid to you. Trust me, if you can't handle the bay, do not - I mean seriously do NOT ever go to Florida. You don't know humidity until you've been to the swamp. I mean I've never been to a desert (been through a desert - mid cal is a lot of desert, but nobody WANTS to stay there, haha) so I can't really compare, but I can't feel humidity in the bay. I mean other than desert it's about as arid as you can get.

I actually wasn't correcting my typos based on your responses; there wasn't anything that made me think you were confused by them or anything. XD;; I just have a tendency to reread my posts before replying to yours to refresh my memory on what you're replying to, and those ones were just... painfully bad typos compared to the ones I usually ignore. XD;; But ahahaha, Ace and Legs, my new OTP. No but seriously, the new Ace Attorney game is just as super gay (if not more so) than the previous ones, and they actually have a character saying "It's over 9000!" XD Another one of my favorite quotes so far was when the main character, when referring to Detective Gumshoe, who states he concentrates better on cases after getting hurt in some small accident, thinks, "There are people in this world who are masochists... and then there is Gumshoe..." <3 Fruits Basket was never one of my favorite series, so it's not really one I'm too concerned about spoilers with. I don't even know if I'll ever get around to finishing the manga; just watched the whole anime because it was lent to me. I already have a friend who has told me a lot (like Akito's secret, the finals pairings, etc.), so yeah, I'm pretty much fine with any spoilers you may want to add. XD ...haha, you put Yaoi Matsuei. Yaoi Descendants... hot. XD Ugh, I haven't been able to get into A Lion Among Men either... granted, a lot of it is because I've been too busy playing Ace Attorney with Legs, but it's definitely not giving me a reason to put it before the new game. I hope it gets better. Never really planned to go to Florida, but thanks for the warning. XD I do want to visit Japan someday, and I have no idea how I'll survive there.

I know I got that based on how you formatted, but since you hadn't done that before at first I was confused. I do that too, however if my typos are glaring I'll just "edit" my post and let other people think they are crazy if they notice later, muwhaha!
Hahaha, are there actually characters named Ace and Legs? Because that WOULD be funny. Glad the games gay though, that's always fun ^_~.
If you really don't mind...sorry if I say something you do, SORRY!!
FRUITS BASKETS SPOILERS
Well Akito being a female misogynist is one of the main things I dislike. I like "him" in the anime but hate "her" in the manga. I guess the pairing I hate the most is Tohru and Kyo, I don't think they make any sort of sense whatsoever and it bugs me - a lot. Especially with the friggin 50 year later ending. With grand kids, like gag me! Tohru and Yuki I wouldn't have minded, though I really like the girl Yuki ends up with. And then it just irks me that EVERYONE except Momiji and Kagure end up paired up and life decided and happy, like what the heck? And then I'm just doubly sad for Momiji because they don't even resolve his family issues (the way most characters resolve theirs in one fashion or other). So he's alone in more ways than one, it depresses me! And yet it makes me love Momiji more, he's so tragic!! Nothing but his violin. I can't say Haru/Rin is something I'm all that fond of as well, and a lot of the pairings just seem for pairings sake. Though I do really like Ayame and his assistant, they are adorable. I also don't think it EVER does a good job of explaining why the curse goes away, it just fizzles out for nothing. That's what bugs me the most, there is also this build and sizzle and life based around it and poof, it just dissolves illogically. So yea the characters are TOO resolved and the plot isn't resolved enough, so it bothers me.
END NON-YGO SERIES xd SPOILERS
OMG I DID!!! Haha, well I like that better! I'm not even going to fix it and say you're crazy, what are you talking about, because I rather like that. Took me a minute to get what you meant though, because I went two posts back thinking I did it originally. Yaoi Descendants are TOTALLY hot, you know you want it!!
I hope it gets better too, but between reading Size Still Matters at night (and not getting much reading done because I stay up too late, only just started it as I only just finished Size Matters - and yes these are yaoi books) and doing other stuff during the day it's not working out. I had been reading it at work at least, though today I worked on my fanfic. Between work and the power outage I got another chapter done! I'll try and update sometime this week. Plus someone left a comment telling me they could never be disappointed with my story. Like I bet they could but still, awwwwwww, I'm all warm and fuzzy and determined not to fail at this fanfic thing now, even more so.
On Size Matters, random, but I'm annoyed. It's short stories and one, has a sequel! So annoyed, and it's not in Size Still Matters it's in some other anthology called Wet Dreams R Us which for the life of me I can't find any knowledge of it existing. I mean at least I can find note that Size Matters existed and is out of print now. Wet Dreams R Us just doesn't seem to exist, that is really annoying. I WANT the sequel/continuation of the story. Because it's more continuation than sequel so that's just annoying. Frick I love dreamspinnerpress but right now I'm way mad at them for this! Size Matters only just recently went out of print so they really should still have reference to an anthology that came out after carrying a sequel story to one that was in the older anthology. That's what I think!
You won't, you'll die. But at least you'll die surrounded by anime and sushi, that's worth it right? ^_~
The only way I'd go back to Florida is for Disney World, because that place is darn awesome. Everything Disney Land has World does (well CA adventure has new stuff, but I've never been there), and WAY more. So awesome!! Still HATE the Florida weather, but between DW and the hot British/Aussie guys that seem to like to vacation in DW it's kinda worth it.
