Sibyl mumbled some kind of agreement to whatever Gabriel was saying, not actually registering his words until after he said he was ill. Sick?! Oh no! Was it her fault? Should she have done something? Did she do something? What an odd request. Why would he want her to make sure of that? "U-um..."Forget the fact that he's a ghost and can't exactly die, Sibyl was rubbing her cheek and sitting on the ground beside Gabriel now. She tugged the penguin over and hugged it like it was a toy, swaying side to side with the bird. It resigned itself to its fate and let itself be held for now without much fuss. "Okay!" She finally blurted out, tilting her head back to look up at Gabriel. "Why?" Did she even know which room was his? Nope. She could find out but still.. "Are you feeling better?" Sibyl asked with a hopeful look, hugging Mr. P tighter. Having the penguin in her arms was incredibly tempting. She could feel its heartbeat. It was going to be the most delicious meal later. Oh yes.

Sibyl's reactions were actually worrying him. Gabby had been joking, of course, but she looked like she was taking it seriously. His smirk faded and he dropped down to sit in front of her, waving away someone who tried to get up to throw darts. He put his hands on her shoulders and forced her attention up at him. "Hey. Hey! I was just joking. You know? Like you were, about boilitis? I'm not sick. I don't think I can get sick." She was squeezing the life out of that penguin. Why was she taking this so hard? He took one hand off her arm and batting her chin with his thumb. "Seriously. I don't think I can handle you not being bubbly and overexcited. I'm starting to actually wonder if the world's ending." Locusts were going to rain down from the sky any minute. Melodine Cantus i know ur there. watching. creepin.

It didn't quite turn out as well as he had hoped though but he wasn't about to give up on that notion either.
