Amaya’s lips fell slightly agape and what little color that she possessed in her cheeks quickly flushed away from her face, the air escaping from her chest. The world moved in slow motion as she looked into the eyes of the man before her. His Sharigan was ablaze and his rage poured out into the room, paralyzing the child. She was forced to stagger backwards slightly when the desk before her was toppled to the ground and her newest teacher approached her, unsheathing his weapon. Amaya’s back hit the desk behind her as her knees grew weak and she caught herself with assistance of the wooden corner. She couldn’t move, she couldn’t breathe, she couldn’t think. All the young Keiji could see was the sharp metal arcing downward towards the tender skin of her throat. What was happening? What had she done to make this occur? What was he hiding? What was going to happen?
Just as quickly as her world had stopped spinning it was suddenly thrown into full speed. The black haired girl’s right arm flew up in front of her in a feeble attempt at defending herself, but the blow never came. Her blacked orbs, flat and devoid of their normal shine from the confusion and utter fear, peered over in time for her to witness the blade of Akeru’s nodachi sink into the man’s arm. The cut was deep and blood seeped onto the unblemished skin, but he didn’t seem to notice. Amaya searched his eyes and realized that he had come back to the present from wherever he had been. ”Ah… I…I…” The child’s lips were still parted but no words escaped. That is, until the man fled. She turned to watch him run, pushing herself off the table. However, it only took a fraction of a second to press her lips together, furrow her eyebrows as the light returned to her eyes, and set in her resolution. Almost immediately, the child was running after him. ”Akeru-san…” She called for him but didn’t know what to say. She prayed that he would stop for her, but she also had no chance of keeping up with the man. The child had been saved by him coming back to whatever he had lost himself in and she wasn’t going to let him run from whatever it was that had consumed him just there.

Inechi Shironaegi Hp: 40 / 40 Cp: 42 / 48 MHp: 44 / 44 Shiro watched as Sakurayuki attempted to copy the same technique that he had just employed for his own cloth. She started out quite well, only missing a step for a single beat before recovering and continuing to enhance the blend. She picked up on it quickly enough, her ability made the boy further question what her lineage was. But then the thought passed as quickly as it began, for to him it didn't matter much. All that really mattered was finishing this training. Everything that he was currently was generally being swept along with that current. Like his questioning of Sakurayuki's background, small eddies formed in his thought stream, but eventually they entered back into the main flow. Shiro was not one to stay off focus for long. "Oh, and Shiro-kun, try making smoother lines next time. Too many straight lines could tip off the tracker that it wasn't a real rock." She told him. He made a note of her advice, deciding that he would practice the rock one more time before moving on. But first, he owed her advice on her technique. "Thanks, Yuki-chan! I can't beleive how fast you're picking up these techniques. Your technique looks great." he informed. After speaking he reset his own cloak by ending the current of chakra that he was supplying and then repeated the rock pattern, but this time Shiro incorporated Sakurayuki's advice.[+1 to Yuki] Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) Description: This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element. Hp: 891/920 Cp: 1285/1320
The guilt...was unbearable. And hearing her voice made it far worse. Specks of blood stained the floor as he moved quickly through the hall, the beads forming a crimson trial. But he couldn't find the strength to speed up properly: it wasn't that running was taxing, he was quite good at running away...but it felt like numerous stones were chaining down his limbs. His injured arm throbbed, the pain becoming more apparent now, and he was forced to duck aside at the turn of the hall: he sat on the ground, nursing the wound.
Shakily, he raised his injured hand, and the even stronger trembling as he attempted to form a seal with his fingers made it quite clear he had cut himself pretty badly. Too deeply to utilize Jutsu. He would have to see another of his colleagues for this. He winced, as the slowly clotting wound was roughly reopened by his attempts to form a hand seal. But no matter... The pain was quickly becoming once again forgotten.
What happened...?
What, just how could he have lost control of himself like that? It was shameful, disgraceful... What would Shika-jii-chan say?
What would Yokou-baa-san say? § U c h i h a A k e r u

No! He wasn’t going to get away from her so easily. While the small child held no hopes of keeping up with the jonin, and not to mention that she had a slow start from the shock, Amaya spotted the blood trail on the ground. Akeru must have cut himself deeply in order to be leaving a trail defined enough for the child to follow. It was just a live game of connect the dots: one crimson splatter to the next one. And much like the game, if she worked through all the little dots, even though they wouldn’t all be little crimson dots she would eventually be able to make heads and tails of what exactly just happened.
Her footsteps, while not silent, were quite and left little echo in the hall. Amaya saw a bend in the trail and turned in to find Akeru sitting on the ground. What in the world had happened? The child’s breathing was a little heavy between running after him and the fear wearing off, but it wasn’t too noticeable. That is, at least she didn’t think it was. Amaya knelt before Akeru, brushing her fingertips against the ground to make sure that she was steady. At first she looked at his eyes, though he seemed to be more fixated elsewhere, and saw that warm, familiar gold that she adored in him. Then her attention was directed to his arm. Gently, though with a little bit of hesitation and a slight bite on her bottom lip, the young girl tried to place her hands under his elbow and wrist to reduce his trembling so that she could better see the injury. At first she was going to ask if he was alright, but she knew better than that. His sudden attack, fleeing, the injury on his arm; it would have been obvious even if she hadn’t just been in instrumental witness into what just happened. ”Akeru-san,” Amaya wasn’t sure where the words were coming from or where they were going to lead her, but she also wasn’t going to stop them from escaping. ”Please tell me what I can do to help.” It was true, the child did want to help. She didn’t care if it was just sitting there in silence, but if there was something that she could do in order to help her friend that should would without hesitation. Not to mention, she wanted to be his pupil when she left the Academy. She wanted to learn from him, but she also wanted to learn about him. Her eyes had diverted back up to his own, seeking anything. Please, please let me help you, Akeru-san. I want to help you get through whatever this is. The child’s mind whirled with ponderings and questions, but she held them tight within the confines of herself.

Grinning as she heard his compliment, Sakura glanced over to him as she gave him a compliment of her own. "You do a great job in perfecting the jutsu too! I really find myself hard pressed to think that you've never done this before." she said, meaning every word. Sakurayuki looked at Shiro's cloth, which looked perfect now. It seemed as if he wouldn't need any more help on the rock pattern since he was doing quite a superb job on it. She was going to practice with the tree print again, but the boy who had been practicing by himself with his dog, Chinsana, came up to her with a worried look.
"Have you seen Chinsana?" he asked, looking a little desperate to find his now missing dog. "By the way you should probaly switch to a new pattern by the way." She looked around, not spotting anything in particular except for the people that were around the place. Sniffing though, she smelled something that screamed 'dog', and wrinkled her nose, only to look at the tree she had been standing at just a little while ago, guessing what was happening even before she turned to look. It seemed she had taken the liberty to steal her tree that she was working on and present her with a mass of liquid that was already starting to dry up from the heat.
"Well Pakku," Sakura said, while using her shoes to scrape dirt over the small patch, "I think I saw her going into the Academy doors, but I can't really say anything for sure." Pointing to the doors that were slightly open, just enough for a small dog to go through, she directed his attention there and hoped that he would find his partner soon. Thanking him for the tip, she considered changing cloaks. It was true that she had ben doing similar prints this whole time, and she felt the need to change as well.
Gripping the rock patterned one, she tried the same thing Shiro had done before, but this was the hardest out of them all since she had to concentrate on doing everything she had practiced before, plus focusing on making the rock as realistic as possible. It was a start though, and she felt pretty good about the results. Working with other people really did the trick it seemed.Quote: Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) Description: This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. Inechi Shironaegi Hp: 40 / 40 Cp: 41 / 48 MHp: 44 / 44 "You do a great job in perfecting the jutsu too! I really find myself hard pressed to think that you've never done this before.". Sakurayuki commented back to him. Her words made him smile, and as he lowered the cloth, folding it as he went, he thought how he was now half way done with his last mandatory technique. The short pause in training allowed him time to think about something else for a short period. He realized that he was working pretty well with Sakurayuki, perhaps they made a good duo. He'd have to pair up with her more in the future and see if they always worked well together or if it was just this one time. Maybe they'd even be put on the same team together. But who knows? For all he knew he'd just be shipped out as a replacement for someone who had died instead of being put on a fresh squad. Though he concluded that either would suit him just fine. By the time he made it back to the bench where the different cloths were he had folded up his gray one and was ready to place it back on the bench. He barely paid attention to the Inuzuka boy who approached Sakurayuki, as the boy seemed to have no interest in Shiro either. As Shiro sifted through the different cloths found himself at kind of a loss for which pattern to pick. Sure he could manipulate his chakra well on this training session but stealth wasn't really his thing. Which made it kind of difficult for him to choose what to do since he wasn't really of a stealthy mind. "Um, which pattern do you think I should try doing next Yuki-chan?" he asked as he continued to look through the various cloths.[+1 to Yuki] Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) Description: This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. Once she had sent the Inuzuka away and gotten a grip on the grey speckled cloak, she turned to Shiro, seeing him sift through the different cloths, having a hard time deciding what to choose next as he asked for her advice. "Um, which pattern do you think I should try doing next Yuki-chan?"
"Well, I'd say we both try this on the rocky walls over there? They're pretty common in Konohagakure and you never know when you might need to hide in your own village." she said as she picked up two of the same prints and held one up to him to take. Maybe after this was over, they could play hide and seek with the others for fun. Or she could just do it with her cousins once she got home, but it wasn't really all that appealing right now since they had a tendency to cheat their way through. Of course, they were endearing in their own way once you got fluent in Uchihanese and their quirks. They just needed a quick bop on the head before they agreed to play fair. Now she would have tricks up her own sleeve when she went back. 'Oho, let's see how they would like that', she thought gleefully.
Trying it first, she found it easier to do than the rock, simply blending into the wall behind her as she worked on concentrating on the flow and ebb of the chakra. Remembering to copy the smooth texture of the rocks, Sakura maintained the jutsu until she felt it was good enough. It was surprising though. She had been having so much fun with Shiro, simply practicing with him. It would be fun to be in a Genin squad with the boy and go out on missions, which would be a lot more exciting.

Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element. So lost in thought, he merely sat there on the hallway ground looking at his injured arm with downcast eyes. The burn of chakra in his veins was steadily subsiding now, but even as his hastened pulse gradually calmed, the same could not be said for the whirlwind of black thoughts swirling in his mind. The steady haze of pain alone was enough to numb any notice of someone approaching: he did not seem to register Amaya's presence until she was right before him - the gentle touch rewarded by a revolted cringe.
"Don't..." He choked out.
Don't help, don't look. He didn't want anyone's help...he didn't need anyone's help. No, no, no, no. He was not that damaged to need aid like a patient at the hospital. Especially not hers. He felt the frightening rage bubble up again: Was she another to think he needed sympathy? before with a small cry like that of a wounded bird, his hands flew to clutch his head, the angry gash that was barely beginning to clot reopening, restored to the original force of its steady dripping.

The small girl’s hands snapped back towards her body when Akeru cringed. However, it only took her a moment to realize that it wasn’t because she had hurt him. Something was going on in his head and she didn’t know what, but it was also none of her business. Amaya’s eyes drifted to her knees where her hands took a tight hold of her pants, crinkling the fabric, as she bit her lip. Without another word, but obvious resolution, she decided to assist whether he wanted her to or not. The child rocked back onto her heels in order to stand and simply walked out the door without a word. He wasn’t going to go anywhere and running through the halls would alert someone of something. It was obvious that the man wanted no one involved, much less more people than already were. Now, where would they keep medical supplies in a school?
The only place other than inside the classroom, and Amaya had seen no such boxes, was the supply closet that was available to everyone. Since all of the kids had their cloaks outside, she didn’t see anyone when she came into view of the door. Her shining black eyes scanned the shelves quickly once she opened the door. A new hardness had set behind her eyes. It was determined and controlling. Finally she caught sight of the box that she desired, carefully climbing up a couple of shelves and tugging it down. Life was a little trickier when you weren’t even five feet tall. The child flipped the latch and opened the lid to look inside the box, making sure what she needed was inside, before packing it up and taking the same path that she had just retreated from.
Sure enough, when the child came back, though she had hardly been gone a minute, Akeru was still sitting on the floor. That was alright. I would be easier to treat someone who was down at her level anyways. As Amaya lowered herself to her knees, placing the kit beside her, she looked over his arm again. Though this time she didn’t touch him. When he had flinched, Akeru had reopened what little healing had begun. Something as deep as this was going to require special medical attention, but Amaya couldn’t let him walk around in this state. Then again, he may not be up and walking around. The young girl had yet to meet Akeru’s eyes upon her return.
”I know what you’re thinking.” Her voice was quiet and she had shifted to the side with the medical kit sitting in front of her now. ”At least, I think I know what’s going on in your head.” There was a sharp snap as the child released the two latches that secured the lid. ”You think I pity you in some manner.” She gently lifted the lid and set it on the ground so that it wouldn’t make noise. Amaya wasn’t too keen on noise right now. ”You think I’m looking to fix whatever is going on in the recesses of your mind.” Her voice was cool and it seemed that she had pondered this some while she was away. It was odd hearing these words coming from someone so young and small, no matter who they were directed to or who overheard them. ”Well, you’re wrong.” This time Amaya’s voice grew stern and sharp as she looked over at the man out of the corner of her eyes. This was one of the many voices that she used on her brothers; this one was made to be listened to. Mind you, she wasn’t aware of the changes. They just occurred naturally in the girl. ”When I asked to help you I wasn’t looking for you to tell me your life story, let me into the dark secrets of the past, trust me with your emotions, and then take any advice or solution I could offer.” She turned her eyes back to the kit and started placing the items she would need on the open lid so that they wouldn’t touch the presumably filthy Academy floor. ”No, when I was looking to help you I was talking about the massive gash that you just put into your arm; the one that bled heavily enough and fast enough to make a trail for me to follow. I didn’t even have to keep up with you when you ran off.” Was she lecturing him? No, she didn’t think she was. If that was how it came across then so be it, but he needed to understand where she was coming from. ”I don’t expect you to tell me what is wrong, Akeru-san.” She found some hydrogen peroxide and fought of the idea of opening the bottle and pouring it on his arm. That would be cruel. ”However, you are going to sit there and let me bandage you up so that you stop bleeding on the floor until you can seek proper medical attention.” At that she turned back to the man, her eyes no longer averted; they met the man straight on. ”I’m sorry if you don’t like it, Akeru-san, but you are going to let me help you up to the best of my abilities.” What was she doing?! She just gave what was more or less an order to a jonin! Amaya didn't even have a rank yet! Then again, the child didn’t care. She had come close to snapping, something she didn’t do often, and this was her attempt at reigning in both herself and the situation.
The black haired child, kneeling before a man who could easily get up and walk away without her being able to stop him, took a piece of gauze and opened the bottle of peroxide. Her knowledge of medical treatment was rudimentary at best, but she had patched up a couple of bumps and scrapes here and there. Amaya soaked the gauze, placing the bottle on the ground beside her and replacing the cap once she was done. Her left hand reached forward and gripped the man’s wrist with enough force to tell him that she was being entirely serious. Then again, he probably wouldn’t even notice with how gentle and frail she was in comparison to him. She pulled his arm toward her, extending it so she could reach. It was then that her grip loosened and she became her gentle self again, she was back in control of her temper. With a soft touch, she gently brushed the wet pad near the wound, wiping off some of the blood and keeping a close eye on his face to see if she was hurting him or not. What had she caused and what was she getting into?

Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element. When she walked away from sight, his tense form slowly relaxed. It was childish to think this, but right now he simply wanted to be alone and wallow in self-pity. Even though he knew perfectly well what his guardians over the long years would think of such a cowardly action... But does it even matter anyways? Once Shika-jii-chan hears of this situation, he feared to think what would his godfather do... And he even more feared what the Hokage-regent would say. That was not all, what about all his colleagues? Or worse, the other Jounin?
Unbidden, the remembrance of the consequences after the first time he had lashed out so suddenly came to mind. A shiver grasped his body. Those whispered suggestions were as clear as yesterday: cold, right words. Too unstable. Advice to the Hokage and the Council that he should be admitted to the sequesters of the Hospital. His godfather, the head of Senju Ichizoku had refused...
He looked up: she had returned, and in her hand, was a white box. The look in his golden eyes was startled: just what was she planning to do? Was she going to hit him with the metal box? Granted, he did deserve it... If she was going to hit him, he won't move. He squeezed his eyes shut, just in case she was going to hit him on the head... He wasn't too fond of concussions, those hurt quite a bit, and would leave smarting swellings that would last at least a few good weeks. Well... Swellings would be small compensation compared to what he made her go through just now.
But the blow never came. When she spoke, he flinched, cautiously cracking open his eyes.
Her words didn't comfort him. A hysterical laugh escaped his lips.
"You're wrong. I shouldn't be alive today..."
But he cut off any further admission. The moment of torment was brief and he settled for only watching her with a curious gaze, his golden eyes still distressed but no longer capturing a tormented light. He flinched at the touch of the antiseptic, the wound stinging fiercely as if small flames were trailing the edges of the injury, but he made no move to escape.

The child paused and looked up at the young man through her thick veil of lashes. His laughter seemed to be some sort of defense mechanism of his, but she wasn’t sure what exactly was setting it off. Akeru was a strange man and it was obvious that something lurked in him past that haunted him, but again the girl reminded herself that it was none of her business. The black orbs had regained their shine, but there was still a stoned hint to them; taking in the somehow broken human being before her. This was not the same man that she had met that morning, yet she knew that he was somewhere there. It was an odd feeling. Amaya had never watched someone fall apart so quickly and so unexpectedly. Sure, she had seen the occasional person wither away into nothingness, but this was the flip of a switch. This was a magic puff cloud: here one moment gone the next. The Uchiha needed help, that much was for sure.
Amaya didn’t respond to him; at least not yet. Instead, the black haired child turned her attention back to the man’s arm. She was glad to see that he wasn’t resisting. She touch was gentle, just enough to clean off the dripping blood and disinfect the area around the wound. The Keiji wasn’t about to start tackling the wound itself quite yet and she definitely wasn’t about to use the antiseptic on it since there was no anesthetic mixed in with it. Sure, the pain may have provided some sort of twisted therapeutic benefit but she wasn’t about to go testing those waters. To top it off, she wasn’t trained, so she wasn’t going to go pouring microbial sanitizer into an open gash. No, she just continued on with her gentle strokes that spread the liquid and gathered the red stains on the man’s skin.
She set the red stained gauze to the side and prepared a second one in the same manner that she had prepared the first. Her breathing was slow and measured as she was consumed by her thoughts. This time, when she returned to treating Akeru’s arm, she worked around the wound. In a motion that encompassed the slash, Amaya worked the liquid away from the wound, dragging any potential germs away from the cut as she did so. It was a technique that her mother used when her father became careless in the forge. That only happened on the rare occasion. It was only then that she began to speak. ”It’s unfortunate that you believe that, Akeru-san.” Amaya’s voice still held that tone of control and authority that she had implemented with him. It was stern but still quiet, forcing Akeru to listen. That was something she had learned in the past: if you want someone to listen then you must speak softer. Yelling was pointless and raising one’s voice was only appropriate in a small handful of occasions. ”Everyone has a purpose to live out. If you’re still alive that means that you are supposed to be regardless of whether you think you should be or not.” That was one thing that Amaya held dear to her. While she wasn’t religious, she did believe in purpose. The child did know that there was something to life and that there was a reason; even if she didn’t know what that reason was.

Chinsana LV. 2 Hp: 16 Cp: 6 MHp: 8 "Thanks" Pakku said under his breath as he walked away from Sakura, going in the general direction that Chisana was supposed to have gone. "Chisana?" He called out for a moment as he walked down the hallway, looking for his stray puppy. Finally after several minutes of searching the mall dog showed up, wagging her tail wildly. "There you are!" He yelled happily as he reached down and picked her up, holding her close. He was beginning to worry that he'd lost her, the jutsu he'd been working on be damned, he wouldn't be anything without his partner. Inechi Shironaegi Hp: 40 / 40 Cp: 40 / 48 MHp: 44 / 44 "Well, I'd say we both try this on the rocky walls over there? They're pretty common in Konohagakure and you never know when you might need to hide in your own village." She replied to him. Shiro was familiar with these rocks of course, they made up the foundations of many of Konoha's older buildings. He grabbed a cloth which he felt would be useful for what he was about to attempt and made his way over to the aforementioned rock wall. The boy eyed the spot where he was going to attempt to blend, studying the rocks to know where the edges would line up. When the boy was satisifed that he knew what he was doing he turned around and back up slowly towards the wall. He then raised the cloth into position and began to apply some of techniques that he had used previously to try and blend with the wall. First he stiffened the cloth and then tried to match the patterning of the wall. Obviously there was room for improvement in his technique but he had done quite well on the attempt. He was most likely going to continuing practicing this pattern for a little while. "How's it look Yuki-chan?." he said in reference to his technique.[+1 to Yuki] Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) Description: This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. While a student should use a cloak/cloth that fits with their environment, chakra can be used to enhance the effect but it can not make up for using the wrong camouflage. In this exorcise the students will demonstrate their ability to blend in to various surroundings using their cloaks/cloths. DC: 11 Formula: 1d20 + Stealth (1) + 1 [Yuki] Train: 6/10

Sakura grabbed the appropriate cloak and followed him, watching him as he did the technique near the walls. It was a great start, and Sakura looked at the results with a critical eye, although there wasn't really much to say, since he had done it pretty well. Sakura nodded, as she took a look at what exactly he had done with the patterns. She had been so excited to practice, with him that time had flown by with the numerous amounts of work that she had to do in order to get this jutsu just right. She didn't even notice until now how low her reserves of chakra were. They were just over half, but she didn't mind, since it was fun working with a partner. Deciding to just work on the wrinkles and smoothness sitting down, she tested the waters, trying to figure out what would work the best and how to maintain her chakra balence together more efficiently.
It was really so much fun to be able to use chakra. She was really looking forward to the day she would learn her first Katon, and finally be accepted as a true member of the Uchiha clan, while also being able to integrate it into her training sessions. Looking back at Shiro again, she scratched her chin, and looked at the cloak. The edges would be a little better if they evenly matched the borders at the side on the right. "Shiro, you should move around 5 milimeters to the right, or blur the cloak's edges with your chakra before you fade away behind to the cloak. Otherwise, I really can't see you at all. You're doing great!" she shouted so he would hear behind the cloak. It was unbelievable how good he was at this. Hoping they could work on something else once they were done, she took a more comfortable position on the rock she was sitting on and motioned for Shiro to go ahead again.
