Just to remind you:
some people RP in other guilds while others have either Jobs/College and some people like myself have various video games and typing stories to get to. We post when we can and though it may seem like I am "Online" it's mostly just a tab open that I occasional refresh from PMs or notifications.
that and let's admit it, trying to start an RP is easy but keeping it going is hard (Example: my Spellcard duels has halted for the moment and waiting on those who shall post)
It's not so much grabbing one's interest as it is "thinking" about how to post. You can't simply respond on the fly all the time. Sometimes you have to plan ahead.
When i started
this RP I went in with a more comedy styled story in which Reimu is helping Nahumar grow back to a more manageable size. However, I thought ahead of this and the following will/has happened.
- Nahumar's true form is revealed (As just a black ball with an eye, not like some kind of PC-98 boss you might think of...)
- He has more of a link with humans than creatures (Shown when he is talking about Reimu's shrine and even wanting to help her out as well)
- The addiction of Brownies is shown in full and degrading glory
- Yukari will provoke and taunt Nahumar while he is 'weaker' than normal just to have some fun.
- A sort of "Aw' moment is there when the setting and motion is right
And depending on what happens, some new stuff will pop out. It's half improvising and half going in with a script when it comes to RP for me.
So in honesty, I spent about a week and a half actually getting the idea/situation/plot going for this "one shot" Reimu and Nahumar tale.
As such, you must have patience. One can not instantly label something as "dead" if there is activity at least once a week in some form.
Sorry if this is not my place to say, just had been at least a Crew in a couple RP guilds and even own two of my own (one defunct because the person who originally ran the first version wanted to borrow my extra guild and yet that person was never around to manage it so it was given back to me)
since god knows how long for myself.
