Nikolai finally opened his eyes when Leon spoke softly to him. He stared at the house ahead of him, and it took a while for him to realize that it was his. "Oh... I almost forgot what my own house looked like..." he mumbled, too tired to be embarrassed. His body was throbbing with all the wounds he still carried from Hell. He slowly turned his head to look up at Leon's face. "How long was I gone?"

Even without Sloth's ability to make anything the best bed ever, Nikolai felt as though he were in paradise when he was laid on the mattress (He'd say Heaven, but he didn't want to think about religion right now). Turning back to Leon, he returned the smile and put a hand on his arm. "But now I'm alive again, and it's all thanks to you." he said with gratitude in his voice. A week may have passed here, but Hell made it feel as though years had gone by - and that was probably a day or two in Hell time! He spent every waking moment trying to keep Leon in his mind, daring to pray for a chance to see him again. And now his prayer was answered.
"Lay down with me, darling, I think we both could use some sleep." Nikolai suggested while lightly tugging Leon towards the other side of the bed. "I need you so I can sleep, anyway. Hell's fire can't compete with your warmth."

With just Leon's arms around him Nikolai could feel himself drifting away to the blissful sleep he missed so much. "Leon..." he mumbled after around half an hour of their cuddling. "Thank you for not letting me go." he whispered before falling asleep.

Nikolai slowly opened his eyes and was greeted with the sight of the ceiling of his old home. Home. He wasn't dead anymore, Leon really brought him back. Leon. Nikolai sat up in the bed and winced slightly at the pain shooting through his body. He looked down to see all the wounds he had gotten in Hell wrapped up and taken care of. Did Leon do this? Nikolai looked back around to see that Leon wasn't in the bed, and on the bedside table was a blue butterfly.
With some trouble, Nikolai managed to get back to his feet and shuffle down the hallway. "Leon?" he called out in a frail voice, clutching the wall to keep him up.

The young man bowed his head in shame. "I'm sorry, dearie, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming." he admitted and looked up at him when a scent caught his nose. "Are you cooking? Something smells very nice." he sniffed, his stomach growling in agreement.

"I don't think I ate at all in Hell." Nikolai noted while looking down at the pot of noodles. "Not like I'd be able to eat anything that wasn't cooked by you or a minimum wage chef at a fast food restaurant." he attempted to joke as his stomach growled again. Oh, it looked so good! Was it ready yet??

Forgetting his manners for a second, Nikolai put as many noodles in his mouth as possible. It just tasted so good! He hadn't had any food in a week, and now that he was alive, he was feeling it! His body was practically inhaling the dish, enjoying the flavors and the filling feeling. It was so good that the former Sin began crying tears of joy. All of this was good. Food, shelter, being out of Hell and into Leon's arms... He never thought he'd get any of this back. He never thought he'd be able to be happy again.
