We need more grappling taijutsu. I'm just going to try and work on it over the week even though it'll be based off of tekken and streetfighter wrestlers/grapplers.....except t.hawk....
Edit: remind me to thank akura later. Unless he reads this the never mind. Also I want Kensei for some reason to yell "Kenseimania's about to run wild!" and then bam German suplex.

@Kagetsu: I changed my avatar into a squirrel for fun and to pick on Mint (Since I nearly killed her chuunin with a squirrel a few years back.), but liked the look so much that I kept it. Not sure if I'll end up going back to my old look completely or not.
And I don't belong in any sort of college. XD
Bit sad that actually... Would probably be nice.

Theres actually different types of suplexes. I think they all start differently probably for style purposes (thats what i think personally). I can't really explain it so I'd say look it up.

Since the trees are young can I reason that they don't have much foliage. making it easy to see the ground beneath them even when up in the clouds above the treetops?
Also, sorry for yet another long wait >< . One thing just sort of led to the next (culminating into cramming the writing of an essay into one night) >< .

I am sadly having little time to respond to things lately, so sorry Sora for not responding. You should be able to see the forest floor, but probably not someone hiding directly under/in a tree.
Now for your post: You cant dissipate the cloud and then continue using it, that's just silly. Might want to edit that a bit.
I would like to mention that I'm not sure "suspiciously close" makes sense considering the "Kid" is clearly trying to find/chase Kensei. which tends to place him behind the thing he's chasing (IE: where the clone ran from). It's just the logical place for the kid to be.

Hm, true. Still, I also meant it's suspicious because the cloud didn't see or hear anyone else on the way to wherever it was Kensei's clone appeared. Surely, shouting as brazenly as he is so deep in the forest, the cloud would have heard more shouting before seeing clone Kensei. The cloud also checked a decent area of the forest on the way to Kensei. It wasn't just a bee-line, couldn't be since Sora doesn't know where Kensei is in the least. Mm, well, I edited my post and tried to squeeze that in there while taking out the entire "suspiciously close" part. Did I do it right?... Or is even that logic flawed?

No that's on me I just read the jutsu again. So a kid with a man voice is kind of weird. Now I have to change my plan. I was originally going to separate you guys and take you out starting with the weakest (Shikaku....no offense) and then work my way from there.

I believe Henge does allow you to change your voice, though obviously you need to know the voice of the target. Transforming into a younger version of yourself would mean you could easily recreate that voice. (Though it would still sound like you, because a person's voice doesn't change all that overly much.)
And no offense taken, though I have to say you'd have a hard time finding Shikaku, since his "Stealth" is equal to your "Perception", and he's actively attempting to hide.
Not that I'd make it easy for you to take him out, even if he IS the weakest in straight combat right now.

I'm sorely tempted to have Shikaku read Timmy's lips. Or just use the new espionage rank benefit, since I plan on taking that one anyways... Really though, the internal monologues were bad enough, speaking out loud and claiming you're "Too quiet for anyone to hear"?
I probably shouldn't mention I'm half tempted to join Kensei's side of the fight, since Shikaku is already pretty close to figuring out what's going on. The secret isn't likely to last, at least for him, much beyond first contact.

Wait, if Shikaku can find out... doesn't that mean Sora could as well? I mean, I know she's a clumsy good-for-nothing at times but she does have the tactical attribute (despite her rper not being tactically smart in the least OTL ).

Dunno. Shikaku is an overly paranoid espionage spec who saw conspiracy in a jounin giving him his first mission and thinks his fellow genin want to murder him. Add to that that he's designed to be a master of reading people, and he's probably a bit ahead of the curve in spotting the little things Sora or Laxus might not notice. Course he also doesn't have the experience of dealing with Kensei before, to know how he usually acts, which Sora does.

Shikaku can only see the back of Laxus's head. He turned to pick Sora up, facing away from the forest, then turned in the opposite direction Shikaku split off from the group. So unless Shikaku split off, then went to the other side, that wouldn't be possible in my opinion. Although, if you wish to do that, and Shikaku even drops a hint he knows, or acts even more afraid or cautious of Laxus, you'd probably begin a relapse and he'd end up trying to kill Shikaku in cold blood.
