Crystal smirked as the bad guys ran for it. What ever god was watching over the two just saved their asses. She had hopped to completely take out that very sexy android, but she would make do with running for now.

She turned on her heels to follow the alligator man. That guy was full of surprises and pretty decent control over his alternate form. She placed her hands behind her head as she walked with him, looking quite nonchalant.

She climbed out of the hole behind the one named Arell. She looked at the other guy that was talking to him and waved with a small smile. Although she remained quiet and followed them out.

((I am going to post as Henry after the girls are posted for.))

Dun' waved back with a smirk as Crystal got out of the base. "Those defenses oughta keep 'em busy for a spell. In the meantime, we'd better get the hell outta dodge!" he said with a smile. "You ok, Crystal? You usually would have something funny to say to one of us." he said, his head cocked to the side as Arell slung his pump gun up on his shoulder.

First he looked at Crystal, then at the defenses . . . they might counter-hack back into the system any minute now!

"I dunno 'bout y'all, but let's focus on gettin' outta here first!" he said, trying to make sure the trio got out of there alive! He looked around and saw a jeep in the ensuing chaos, running towards it. "C'mon! Let's get de hell outta heah!" he yelped.

((edited. Wanna make sure Arell, Dun' and Crystal get outta here before the skip. Rather not have to try to escape AGAIN!))

{Time Skip; The girls, Henry, Bobby, Amber, Dundee, Catgirl, and Arell escape with the aid of... Gambit, who show's up and guides them all into a cave system with fresh water. Meanwhile, I.O. has been searching for the escapees without success -- but that will only be a matter of time.....

Helga flew out with Blindside, Nathalia and Rachel escaping to the SHIELD helicarrier. And now SHIELD is aware of I.O.'s actions....

I.O. itself has been busy, getting ready to counter SHIELD, while searching for the escaped test subjects. I.O. also just sent a strike force to Gotham to attack the last known refuge of the Titans: The Batcave with Wayne Manor above it.....}

The boys took a walk through the caves, Dundee and Arell talking as they checked it out.

"They gotta be looking for us for sure. Whaddaya think we oughta do?" Dun' asked as Arell smirked, the glow from his cigarette lighting his face as he pondered. They were outnumbered and outgunned. Sure, a .357 Magnum is one of the more powerful guns on the spectrum, but even THEY were no match. That's when he got an idea.

"Y'still got dat hotspot I gave y' fer yer birthday?" Arell asked as Dun' lit up. A chance to really help! Not just a diversion but to REALLY help!

"Yeah! Whaddaya want me to do?" Dun' asked as Arell smirked.

"I reckon as soon as de fightin' starts, we kin use dat as a distraction. I want you to set up an air strike." he said with a smirk. Dun on the other hand wasn't so sure.

"I dunno, man. We could wind up doing a lot more damage than good. We probably SHOULD wait this out." Dun' mused as Arell nodded.

"Dat's why you stay outta sight. I'll keep an eye on thangs an' give ya a signal when de time comes." Arell said.

Meanwhile, Bobby was sitting up against a wall of the cave by the others . . . no particular reason, just sitting there. Arell lent him a pair of jeans and a shirt he had from staying in Vegas to make sure he was good, but they were extremely baggy on him.

Gambit sat at the opening of the cave, watching out for anyone that might be coming up but staying out of sight at the same time. It was hard to ignore the many lovely ladies that were in his company but their safety was much more important than getting in their pants.

Crystal walked over and sat down beside him. "Thank you for helping us out back there." Her Cajun accent was nil at this point.

He looked back at her and smiled. "Well it has been a long time, hadn't it?" It was good to see a familiar face. "Wuh happened ta yah accent?"

Crystal shrugged. "I hadn't talked in that thick of an accent since I started living in Gotham... Unless I was hammin it up, of course." She held out her hand to him for a shake. "I'm sorry, it seems I don't remember many people at the moment. What was your name again?"

"Gambit." He took her hand a kissed it softly.

Roxy was thankful for the help from these strangers as herself, Caity and Sarah were able to escape. She noticed that one of the cajun men had cigarettes and she piped up going over to them. After making sure to let Caity and Sarah knew where she was going. When she approached the men she leaned over her hair falling forward from behind her ears.

"Would you mind?"

She held her hand out with two fingers up as if asking for a cigarette.

"I've been dying for a stick and light. If you could spare one that would be awesome hun."

Her street talk was starting to show through as she stood there asking for a cigarette. The stress had mounted up and she was ready to relax with that tobacco if he could spare it. If he couldn't she would ask just for a puff or two off of his already lit one.

Sarah pulled off her shirt which was a little baggy on her person and handed it to Caitlyn. She had a sports bra on which was much nicer than being completely naked.

"I guess she needs a light. I don't blame her. Will this help Caity? It's all I have except the pants I have. I really hope we can get some real clothes and get away from here to the big city."

Amber sat near the majority of the men mostly sticking to Bobby's area of the cave.

"So, who are all these handsome men here?"

She asked teasingly just before Roxy interrupted. Amber turned to Bobby and put her arm around his back waiting.

Caitlin readily accepted Sarah's jacket and put it around herself. The redhead moved a little closer to the Apache girl, "Thanks Sarah. And I agree with you. At least, I have more than a towel to cover myself now. but, if you get cold, just let me know, okay? If needed, I think this thing's big enough for the both of us... despite my sudden growth."

Sarah smiled and blushed a little looking down to the water distracting herself a little. She looked back up to Caity with her smile.

"I'll let you know, thank you. I'm okay for now though."

She gestured for Caity to come sit with her by the water. It was pretty clear for being by such a base. Sarah moved her hands over the water and attempted to move the water a little bit. A spark lit in the water for a moment before disappearing.

(Yes they were.)

Caitlin moved over beside her friend taking a look around the cave with the artificial light refracting on the water. Giving Sarah a smile, "It really is pretty here. I wish we were here under better circumstances, but ... I'm enjoying it, I guess. How about you?"

Arell smirked when one of the girls they were picked up with came up to ask for a light. Fumbling through his pockets, he found his lighter and a Lucky for the kid. "Here y'are, che'." he said, lighting it for her. This was a considerably calmer Arell. Better than the gun-slinging half-gator working to take a chunk out. He DID contemplate trying Geurrilla warfare against the IO agents, but Dun' talked him out of it.

Dun' smiled over at Roxy and nodded. Like the others, he was mighty glad to have gotten out of there for sure! They were no doubt looking for them, but this cave system was barely accessible. It was almost like the gang vanished into thin air. Well, so it seemed.

However, it didn't stop five deserters from stumbling upon it. This was Omega Team . . . beaten, scarred and no doubt fed up, during the time the writers decided to timeskip, there must have been some sort of confrontation between them and Ivana, causing Parker, Skinny, Lou (door guy's real name), Tuco and Paul to wander through the desert.

"I can't believe she blamed US for this. Were WE the ones that let 'em out? No . . . we oughta get that psychopath ((Arell)) and the fireball ((Bobby)) to go in the back way and REALLY give 'em something to b***h about!" Parker groaned as Skinny looked back.

"Just be thankful we didn't stay long enough for her to use US. I had a brother who worked on that floor who filled me in. If they found out we were the ones who got away, we woulda been tested!" he mentioned as Lou shrugged.

"THEY have air conditioning. Not enough reason to deal with Ivana though. I HATED working for her!" Lou mentioned.

Parker waved to the others to get down. "Keep low! Either that psycho with the Cajun Accent or I.O. might see us! You think you hated it there before . . . wait 'til ya see what they do to ya if we get CAUGHT!" he said, keeping low.

Meanwhile, Bobby smirked. "Look, I'm half-stoned out of my MIND and I know to keep it in my pants right now." he said.

Crystal sat up straight, her ears twitched and she sniffed at the air. At that point she was completely ignoring Gambit and his flirting.

"Che? What wrong? You look like ah long tailed cat in ah room full of rockin chairs." Gambit tried to speak to Crystal.

Her attention was completely on locating the blips of voices she had heard outside.

Through the solid side of the cave a very familiar ethereal doctor walked into the hide out. Henry stopped, having not expected to walk right into a cave system, much less the girls to be there. He, unlike the others, had the ability to travel in a straight line across the sand without being noticed. "Well. What an unexpected turn of events."

"SHHH!" Crystal waved her hand at the people around her. Although she never looked back from the entrance way. It was hard enough to hear anything through the dunes as it was.

Arell grabbed a rifle he lifted off the bad guys and got low to the ground near the entrance of the cave over by Gambit and Crystal. If they didn't want them there, then Arell was gonna make sure they had PLENTY of lead in them.

However, the five were closer than they thought. Arell looked outside, judging distance and the wind.

"Wind kicked up. If'n I'm gon' get a good shot at 'em, I'mma need t' 'djust. Babe, mind movin' yer feet a hair back?" Arell asked as he worked to get adjusted to send a warning shot right over their heads.

Arell was just about to fire a warning shot over their heads when he received the phone call. What th'?!? he thought as he got a phone call, popping the phone open, it was another hunter?!?

"Arell, my little spy. The area is secure for the meet. ETA on your arrival?" Short and brief, that's how Jenova always spoke over the phone. No matter how good her encryption was, there was always someone who could hack the system.

"Slight hol' up on my en'. After escapin' de firs' time, we're gonna need mo' firepower. A LOT more." he whispered. "Will make it on outta heah when I can."

"Good. Call this number when you are fifteen hundred meters out. Bravo Team will meet you at the Rendezvous and bring you too me. Whatever you have on I.O. better be worth this risk." was the response.

"You bet yo' a** it is! Could start World War three with most a' dat stuff dey got." he said with a smirk.

Deviant Cannon

As he looked around, he realized the only shot he had was to get after one of those jets . . . and that'd be essentially SUICIDE after the last run in. He'd need backup. Looking down, he started dialing back.

"Arell, what're you doing, dude?" Dun' asked as Arell smirked.

"Gettin' backup." he growled in return as he waited for her to pick up.

"You'd better be here, Arell. I'm getting impatient." the backup growled on the other end of the line. This wasn't going to end well. Arell looked at the situation.

"We gon' need an aiah lif' outta heah, che'. We're kinda out in da boonies. Got surveillance on da base, but not 'nuff t' get goin' without gettin' de kids that escaped with us captured." he said, summing up the situation before Jenova let loose on him.

"Yebat'! You couldn't have told me earlier! Grebanyy pridurok! Give me two miles to the east of where you are and I'll have a VTOL evac you from the situaition! You'd better be ready for a hot landing!" she hollered and hung up, having found the location and hung up.

"HEY! Not my fault dem so called 'heroes' only sent one or tw- HUH?!?" he hissed as he looked at the phone. The chump hung up on me!! he thought as he got his stuff together and looked at Dun'. "Y'all stay heah an' DON'T . . . move. I'm gonna go get backup." he growled as he stayed low, slipping out of the cave. It was almost like they couldn't see him! Darting out, he kept going to the locale, hoping there wasn't a tail.
