Baffled that they were now to retreat, Kat watched as the four horsemen followed after the Caelius. Who the heck were they? And why were they following the death hunter? Frustrated, she looked back to the captured student and then to Caelius and the horsemen again. She sure hoped that their efforts were not wasted..Katherine has no idea what it was they were planning, but she was sure she would find out in time.

Glancing to Wilson, Ryan and Dakota, Kat shrugged and followed after the group of hunters walking off into the forest. Damn..and here she was hoping to take a few of these kids back. Such interesting little creatures they were. "Later kids." Folding her arms behind her head, she let out a small sigh of disappointment.

Otto watched with disgruntlement as Caelius returned with weird looking freaks. Is that who he had come for? Mission success?

Awesome.

Otto nodded to Eva, turning to follow.

Time to get out of this body and find out who the Hell that giant fallen angel was. How dare he use his fake boobs as a mirror, and squeeze and UGH!

He would pay!

Roch feebly lifted one hand to run over his face. He KNEW what had happened. He hadn't been able to speak, but he'd watched.

"Invi... is gonna kill us," he muttered, feeling even more pathetic now that he knew his hero--the guy he admired so jackin' much--had just given himself up for them.

He could only hope they really did get to come back.

Mot hadn't moved or stirred when the Horsemen and Caelius arrived. He'd barely been conscience. The hunters began to leave, Caelius led Horsemen away. Mot heard and saw nothing.

It wasn't for some time after that he showed any signs of waking. His eyes barely twitched, eyelids heavy even as the barrier began to lift.

What had just happened?

Zar had clung to conciousness with the tenacity a lifetime of insomnia and self dicipline had taught him, even through the agony of his body rebelling in ways he'd never felt before, wracked with stab after stab of pain, and that heavy aching tiredness that made the world seem like some sort of distant dream. He couldn't even lift his head, only able to make out what he could see from where he lay. He got a very clear veiw of the hunter leader, looking startled as something dawned.

He was a human!

Zar won no awards for observation as he watched the subtle little threat with no concept of what it meant, and not fully understanding who the four figures accompanying him were. But they seemed on amicable enough terms. Maybe it was some sort of initiation rite. Some sort of agonising, horrible initiation rite.

But at least everyone was being civil again, that was a start. Politeness didn't cost a penny.

It was amazing how downright cheerful and determined his thoughts stayed, even while feeling as if his life was hung in the balance, it was the only thing currently holding him together. Though he just knew this whole affair was going to be more serious when he didn't feel as if his head was full of treacle.

Wait, that was it? He stared at Caelius for a few moments before turning toward the fallen students. They were just going to leave the students? He peered at the horsemen that followed the older hunter. What kind of deal had he made? Wilson sealed his lips as he nodded obediently. There must be a method to his madness, somehow.

He sighed and twirled the gun in his hands. Well, this mission had certainly done better than the last one, female golem or not. “Guys, wait up!” Wilson called after Ryan and Kat as he followed them into the woods.

"We'll make them." The byakko added still trying to struggle free but she was feeling weaker, almost sleepy. She was doing her best not to fall asleep, "Just you wait."

She was trying to keep herself conscious by still trying to remove the net. She'd do what ever it took, "Just stay awake okay? We can't let them take us." She added, "Bul would kill me if I let them take us...." She added her voice fading the more she talked.

There was a moment where everything was still, everyone it seemed was caught. It was getting harder to stay awake but suddenly the Hunter with the scythe came back with the Horseman. Her eyes widened as she watched Eris and the others follow him. What are they doing? She didn't have the strength to find out what they're doing.

Aleister nodded as he followed the other hunter having his weapon ready, but it seemed... by the time he had built enough confidence to fire at another monster they had all been caught.

He frowned before pausing, oh wait... he paused when Caelius appeared again. OH, "Uh...." He paused before leaving following the other hunters. "Mission accomplished then?" He looked confused in that tiny fairy body of his.

Vanessa immediately took note of the incoming figures, recognizing their leader, but unable to distinguish the other four(?). She gave a nod when Caelius said they were dismissed. She was starting to get used to the strange way that Caelius seemed to run missions. It was very much a stop-go-run-shoot-react sort of procedure, which did make sense in their line of work. After all, if you couldn't react fast enough, then you probably wouldn't make it as a Hunter, right?

She flexed her wings once under the cloak, if only so she could remember how to work those extra limbs if she ever got a winged golem again, and turned to look out at the many fallen bodies. Some seemed to human-like...But that's why the Hunters were here. They would be able to protect the real humans from these monsters, since the other humans couldn't protect themselves. As she walked away from the bundles of monsters, she thought about how each and every one of them could've had the opportunity to be turned into weapons. It was a shame they couldn't carry those experiments out now. Surely Dr. H would've enjoyed the new specimens.

Vanessa quickly trotted over to where her golem had been previously, and finally logged off. It would be good to be over three-feet-tall again.

Moure had, luckily, been able to dodge the first two nets aimed at him, but the third had snagged him. The pain of the net was frustrating, stinging the undead's skin wherever they touched. Somehow, Moure managed to cling to his awareness. He knew that if he drifted off, chances are he wouldn't wake up. He searched his mind for thoughts to latch onto, anything to keep himself awake. He thought of Gibralter, and how sad the boogeymon would be if Moure was gone. He thought of Edel, a slight pang in his RPM-heart for her. Maybe if Moure was gone, she would take care of Gib for him? No, he couldn't be thinking like that He couldn't leave her. Especially not like this.

He clung agonizingly to the pain of the net, and managed to retain his awareness long enough to see the horsemen arrive again, although this time they were with a figure in a white cloak. Wait. The figure. It was that guy from the Haunted House, the one that had...had destroyed Red's skeleton. Wasn't it? Moure's head was so hazy from the pain of the net that he couldn't be sure. But then again, who else would it be?

Moure tried to force his limbs to work, but they were unresponsive, too drained to do anything but faintly twitch. The sensation was almost as strange as when the limb was off completely. Either way, he couldn't control them right now, not with the stock they'd gone through. Finally, he was able to push himself up just slightly enough so that his face wasn't in the dirt, and rested his his head on his arms so it'd be easier to see something that wasn't the ground. Moure managed to watch as the cloaked figures and the horsemen made their exits, trying to puzzle everything together in his foggy mind. What had happened to the Horsemen?

Aisa stepped after Calius, through the mess of fallen students and traps. She glanced around the area, with a mild reaction-- as mild as it got for the heirs, the edges of her lips tightening into a unbreakable frown. Her eyes landed on Sparrow, Mot, Roch, Ren, Moure, Xiu and everyone floating within consciousness brought forth a glance of unforgiving disapproval, almost disclaiming the band of foolish students entirely.

Except for the fact that would be announced later, the heirs left for them. They weren't completed disacknowledged-- But it was enough for the regret and shame to chase down the victims when they woke up from their unconsciousness. These students would wake up to find out eagerly if their friends and allies were alright--

-- but had anyone considered if the heirs might be "alright?" They considered the sacrifice of their own allies as the end of their world .. but even as the bigger picture flashed before their eyes, the heirs leaving, Aisa would never understand the bewilderment of their expression. Why they did not have the experience to see the bigger picture, frustratingly so. But that sort of sight came only with uncountable hardships .. and Aisa faulted the students for not having realized that, after the death of Red.

They chased recklessly, like the heirs had done in the days that weren't so long ago .. yet, the timeline between their minds and those days were an infinity's worth.

The few conscious students might have heard Aisa's last words, before her red dress was enveloped by the black portal. Or more precisely, her last word.

"Fools."

With a glance back towards Eris and Cym, Aisa turned her gaze back to the portal, her iris eyes downcasted for a moment, where Caelius's scythe rested near a student. With a deepening sigh, there was no trace of her, not even a feather, as she disappeared into the circle.

Best of luck to the students left behind. It would be more than a simple mess for Amytiville to sort out indeed.

Tedan laughed at the pathetic attempt to grab at him, but then ... his head snapped up to see Caelius returning along with ... oh dear god what were those?? Obviously some really ******** powerful---

For once Tedan agreed with Arda and didn't even try to stay where he was. He did kick at Roch once more, though. "See you later, wimp. And I'll win next time too." Then he was gone.

The soft feeling of lips felt far too realistic against her skin, and the tan incubus body shivered a little, feeling the fallen-angel's breath fan warm over her neck. Even as a golem, he was taller than she was, despite her own male golem's respectable height, and she felt his hair, silvery white and long slip over her shoulder as he bent down, slide effortlessly over the demon's bare chest. Although pale blue eyes slide closed in pleasure at the affectionate gesture, she did not reach back to run her fingers through his hair again, instead making some sort of attempt to stay focused. Impossible, considering it was Robert, but considering all the creatures were pretty much in nets by this point, the usually-frigid girl seemed to relax a little. Turning her head a little to look back at him, she gave him a rare, albeit small smile, her eyes glittering a bit with his tease.

She had already started to turn around when he spoke up again, and she paused, the mention on Rober-- or rather, Reine, drawing the golem's eyebrows together in a little frown. There was no use peering around to try to look for her -- even if she could figure out which golem her sister was in, she would have avoided talking to her here anyway. Causing a scene during a mission would hardly endear any of them to Caelius, and considering how he'd backhanded her with his scythe when she'd moved out of order, Petra was pretty sure there would be no love lost between them if something happened now. Instead, she let her features smooth out, reaching up a hand to cup Robert's chin, that little smile back.

"Well. I'm not surprised -- she did give up you."

She was already leaning up to kiss him again, (perhaps, in part, just to spite the bug-guy,) when Caelius' voice brought her attention back, her eyes snapping in his direction. The sight of the horsemen made her entire body go rigid, her fingers dropping from Robert's golem to her side, balling into tight fists. Glancing between the heirs before finally focusing on Caelius once more, she narrowed her eyes a bit before turning, resting a hand on Robert's arm before letting it drop, ready to leave.

When Eva and Otto left she followed after them quickly, making sure to keep out of Robert (and Petra's) sight as she moved.

Caelius was surrounded by four figures- who they were, she had no idea, but at least he seemed to have them in control. It hurt a little to be dismissed just like that- they'd obviously been sent to take care of the small fry while he... did whatever he was doing.

No matter; that was essentially their job as trainees. That he hadn't outright reprimanded her for doing something was good enough for her.. for now.

LW fought that pull towards complete unconsciousness the best she could, breath coming in harsh huffs. But in the end, she felt her eyelids flutter closed. But not before she caught sight of what seemed to be a white cloaked figure...and the Horsemen. Wha...what..? She felt too heavy to focus and just let her eyes close. The pain had stopped though. Unfortunately she still felt the aftereffects. A shiver or two racing down her spine. There was, in the back of her mind, a fear that the pain was suddenly going to come back even more intense than before. But so far, it hadn't.

With a soft groan, she tried to push herself up. Nothing happened. Her limbs still felt too heavy. Tired. Too tired. She did not like this feeling. It didn't feel right. Don't. Panic. Start small. Experimentally, she tried to twitch her toes. There was some response there, but not much. Yet. Next, she tried curling her fingers and was glad to find they responded much more.

Where was everyone? Were Ren and Tybalt alright? Jove? Sparrow?

Ren.

Again, she tried to push herself up, managing to get her arms under her and sort of prop herself partially up. Blinking wearily, LW tried to focus her gaze to find those she needed to see for herself were alright.

"R-Ren...?" Her voice croaked out. "Tybalt? Jove?" Where any of them near her?

Oh, burn.

Robert followed her gaze to the horsemen, and whistled quietly. When he couldn't feel Petra against him any longer, he followed directions like a pro, and walked to the log off spot.

He didn't look back.*

When Caelius walked back onto the scene, Sherry was a bit confused. They had done all that trapping, and here he was with a few of the monsters themselves.

However, orders were orders, and Sherry wasn't one to question them. Not right now, anyway. She cast one last look over the creatures in the nets before leaving.
