Bix's vision cleared, a bit, enough for him to see what it had come down to. He let go of Gale to take his own feet.
"There's no debate for us." The usually jovial hunter seemed to want this over and done with. There was no choosing sides for a hunter. They came out her to HUNT. Caelius was their superior, even if he was a douche.
Bix had no shot where he was standing, the behemoth was much too close. He had to get past her in order to get off a shot..

Oh.
She had made a mistake. Twice, in fact. Professor Red was in there, taking all the damage and hurting.
Still shell-shocked, the ghoul slowly registered the words the professor was saying. Leave her to die? There was absolutely no way -
Before the frost demon could turn to face Caelius, the shockwave that rippled through the air had hit her, sending Edel flying a few feet back, paralyzing her. From where she lay, the ghoul could only watch as the lead hunter's weapon dissipated.....the image of the white lady that emerged burned into her eyes.
HP: 25 - 4 = 21
Status: Paralyzed

Cass froze up when the creature descended, looking over as Caelius seemed to ... what was...the...what? She stared in shock at the shape of the woman that seemed to linger in the air for a moment before it vanished. What had that been..?
When he yelled out the name, she suddenly had it strike her.

She pressed into her mind paranoidly for her brain-space companion. She'd gotten kind of used to him being there, despite the bickering between them and..well..it would have been really strange for that to not be the case suddenly. She made a small face as she moved closer into the group hub, looking for someone from her group.

Bix took a breath and made a break for it. He needed to get past the beast in order to be in anyway effective with his bow. The problems with his vision continued as he took off. The albino hunter stumbled slightly on rubble only to find the beast's massive claw slashing at him.
He caught the hit across his back, falling forward and (thankfully) out of her reach once again. His back burned, the sun on his uniform now shredded and showing red slashes in his skin. He scrambled, hissing in pain, away from her as far as he could get.
He tried to glance at his own back but it was futile. It seemed to merely a flesh wound, a lot of stinging and not too much blood.

Harrison watched, horrified, as the dragon came down, calling for an attack, and Caelius's weapon...manifested, then disappeared.
"Jerry," He said, grabbing Jerry's elbow. "Jerry, something happened to the big guy. His weapon's gone. ...He's in trouble."
Harrison wasn't wearing his coat, the house had changed it into overalls and a turtleneck, but he was still a Moon Hunter, still supposed to be defending people. And maybe Caelius hadn't made the most sense as a leader. But now he didn't have a weapon, and that meant- as far as he knew, nothing but grisly results.
"I think...I think I better get over there. You coming?"

THis was too much. Too much happened that was difficult for the reaper to comprehend-- He would surely regret his lack of fast thinking later. But Red-- Double agent? Fear and insanity?
Rolling out of the way for the shockwave attack, Vaith couldnt .. Was that ultimately their end? Answers. Red wanted them to find answers. She wanted them to go back to Amytiville. What were they supposed to find at Amytiville?
"Jackdamnit-- Jackdamnitdamnitdamnitdamnit." Nononono. Red wasn't supposed to die. Their teachers were fearless-- they were the ultimate role models of Halloween town. They always seemed so strong, impenetrable, always ruling with a harsh iron fist .. Vaith stood a little dumbly on the battlefield.

Bix got his footing, finding a rock to stand on to get a good view. Something darted past his eyes again and he swiped at it with his hands. He saw several students and hunters fall, twitching, and one of them was Tika. s**t!
He was not one for rallying calls or leading the charge, but if there was any time for that, it was now. Plus now he had this manly claw wound on his back that made him look badass.
"C'mon Hunters! LET'S HUNT!"
Of course then all the dust that got stirred up gave him an almighty... "AAACHOOOO!!!" Way to ruin an awesome moment Bix.
To further ruin his rallying moment he aimed his shot, aimed for the beast's head. He was shocked when it flickered white for a moment but as it let out a roar, his arrow was harmlessly blown to the side.

Mandy didn't give any warning before she attacked, she just picked up a sharp looking rock and hurled it at the hooded figure. She wasn't stupid enough to actually get close to attack, his Weapon may be gone but Mandy didn't doubt he was still dangerous - nobody had only one attack. She grin got wider as she saw the rock connect, she hoped it hurt. (( HP: 30/30 Target: Caelius Damage: 9-6=3 Effect: None))

"What? Oh! Oh, no... no.. I'm going to... I've got to.. I'm not good for much but shooting right now. Just... just point me in the right direction! Where did that m-monster go?" Jerry was still blinking, his eyes seeing still nothing but flickering spots, but at least his hearing was starting to calm down. Dim shadows flickered between the spots, just enough to ebb his impending panic attack... they WOULD heal, that's what Fear Shields were all about right? Who knew about the cracked lens but that was small potatoes in the long run.

"Alright, Neighbor!" Cass shouted to Bix, "Let's do this then!" Looking to the hunter group again for her team, she frowned a bit before hesitantly pulling herself away from the assembly to go into the group attacking the giant creature. Peh. Too bad she couldn't attack the zombie ghoul instead.
All of them, standing there being protected by their 'hero'. Peh. They were all pathetic.
Frankly, Cass was liberated by the entire situation as it went down. She didn't have to fear Aria anymore.

Shehk had ignored her apology, but Amrita couldn't fault the ghoul for that - not when the massive body of the Probably-Still-Red Monster was coming right at them! She squeak-gasped and tried to pull JOhan out of the way as she had been instructed by him to do, and yet it was for naught; they weren't squished. Hurray, they were alive!
"BUT RED---" She shouted up at the Beast, before Junko and Shehk's words overpowered what she had wanted to say. When all was said and done, to her the important questions had been asked - the only one left, the only one that still confused her, was the beam of lights that kept raining from the sky. The very, very brought sky.
"RED, I'M SO SORRY I DOUBTED YOU!" But...even she had to admit that the beast didn't seem to recognize herself as Red until the attacks happened, still... When the shockwave came she braced herself, thankfully staying standing and well. Whew!
"What should we do?" She asked the rest of the little group. "After him?" She wasn't sure, but she gestured to the bossman.

It seemed that Cass's willingness to help, and desire to run into things, was not going to be serving her well, only getting so close to the giant once-Red creature before her tail slammed into the hunter, slamming her against the ground with a thud.
In her head, Nicodemus made another pained sound.
s**t.
<> Again, he didn't answer and Cass swore loudly. "s**t!" It was really starting to get worrisome to see him in such a state..hear... Dammit! She had no idea what was going on with him, but if it meant she was going to lose him, somehow, she didn't want that to happen!
Ex-abomination or not, he was her roommate.

Harrison gave Jerry a long look, then gently steered him monster-ward. "That way, Annie Oakley. ...Take uh. Take care of yourself. I'll be back, okay. If anything starts happening, or you get more than you can handle, you call for me and I'll hurry back here."
There. That was about as mushy as Harrison got. He stood, swords in hand, and then slowly and purposefully strode across the battlefield to Caelius.
He didn't have much to say to him, except for one almost-shy look, and then he took up a position near their leader with swords at the ready.

Aksaja had no idea what happened to him . . . one moment he was flying at the Red-thing, and the next he was simply snatched out of the air and tossed toward the ground - wings flailing in panic. He could feel the Fear draining out of him as he fell, mouth opening to scream. OhJackohJackohJack . . .
And then to make matters worse, the shockwave from Caelius hit, and tumbled him end over end, still in the air, to land hard on the ground. Wings and other limbs a tangled mess, Aksaja lay there, stunned. What . . . just happened . . . ?
