I hand an apple to Tellat and take a bite out of mine.
"Oh god... Real food! I haven't had this in so long! I never thought I'd miss something so simple!" I exclain in joy. Fortunatly, foxes are onmivores, so I didn't lose my ability to bite into such foods, though I'm not sure is the carinvore will have issues or not.

"Ha ha! Of course it's good! I haven't tasted a better fruit since I sto- err... bought... an orange from some noble's orchard!" I say happily. Tellat's swoallowing of the apple whole somewhat confirmed my theory, but of course, she doesn't seem to know much about real food either. Have to wonder why... Her previous diet seemed innefficant to say the least...

I raise my head, and my brow, in curiousity as Zazigh offers the group apples. I was a bit hungry... I then feel Shi'ita stirring on my back. "Hey, Batboy? You awake? Want an apple?" I speak softly in case he is just stirring in his dreams.

"Ahp-puhl?" he says sleepily. "Mm..Yum, but...who's the...sole-jer?" he asks, as he uses one of his hands to rub his eyes, shifting his patch upwards just long enough to rub them, before returning it to the place he'd had it.

I smile at how Shi'ita smiles when he wakes up and then I stand up slowly on all fours. I look to Zazigh, and with a polite smile ask sweetly, "May I have two? One for Batboy and one for me," I reach out my hand/paw to await the apples. As I do so, I turn my head slightly to address Shi'ita. "His name is Zazigh. He's an important soldier of...Haseem...." I trail off slightly as I realize this guy might know who I am a dirty stealing street rat... Which wouldn't be a good thing... But I try my best to maintian my smile and composure as I await the apples... He probably wouldn't recognize me as a cheetah anyway...

"Well, I know we're heading to the other town first, but you know anything about that ghost city to the east? Seems an unlikely place to want to go to... You know anything about it?" I ask, eating more of my apple. Once again, I take notice of so many details about the fruit I took for granted... the juiciness, the sweetness, the hint of sour, the texture...

He hands you two.
Jasmine:
"It is a place called Lenigild," Zazigh replies. "It was abandoned after a major raid on the city. I was there during the raid. I lost a great number of things. But what I lost most was my family. My wife, my daughter...my poor, blind little girl..."
Selphie:
"I couldn't agree more," Zazigh says.
Shi'ita:
Zazigh looks at you.
"So you're of Haseem, huh?" he says.
Laci:
"Yes, I quite agree," Zazigh says.
Everyone:
As you travel south, you cross flatland for about five minutes. The forest that follows slows you down, taking ten minutes to get through it. After that, you spend about forty minutes traveling through more flatland. During this trek, Zazigh explains that Lenigild was one of the first cities to be harmed in the Eleixandre's campaign for world domination. However, he does not explain anything else regarding Lenigild or the No Man's Land. Finally, you arrive at a city. It is called Vidamir. Outside of this city, Zazigh stops you.
"We may or may not be welcome here," he says. "Seeing as you are creatures the likes of which have never been seen before. I will take the injured one into town if you think it best to have as few of you as possible noticed at one time."

Shi'ita had made a small nod as Zazigh had asked if he was from Haseem, quiet most the way. Once at the town, he looked at the town and then the forestry, as there was talk of avoiding lots of attention. "I'd stay in the forest, if that would help...I used to live in the trees after all. Plus, I ...want to see if these ... wings are good for anything."

"That would be a good idea, but what would happen if the two of you got in a fight?" I ask, then pause for a momment. "Them again, if we bring more people, then we might get into a fight more easily... I should have gotten a cloak!"
