Jett’s grip had only tightened around Raven when he started to feel the pull of the wind towards the whale, though it was not an act of chivalry—merely preservation. In his other arm, he clutched Candice just as tightly. He was intent on weighing as much as possible; Jett knew that the heavier he was, the less likely it was that he was going to be sucked into the whale--like several of the others around him already had. He dug his heels into the ground to try and get as much friction as possible and stall any more movement towards the whale. The effort seemed to work—their weight combined (or perhaps it was just good luck) was enough to keep them still planted on the road.
Jett was pushing against the ground to try and scoot backwards—that was a big whale, and just because it didn’t get them this time, didn’t mean there wasn’t going to be a next time. “Hold on!” he commanded in a hoarse voice; he was out of breathe and angry and still so damn scared! He knew he wasn’t any sort of role model figure, but did he really deserve this sort of trauma?
Actually, no. He was scared to know the answer.
A large chunk of broken road near to him rolled a few inches, propelled by the gust the whale was causing. His eyes locked on it—and gave him an idea. He was convinced that he, Raven and Candice were in a secure location—there was a fair bit of space between them and the whale and they weren’t too near to the side of the road for him to be in any (more) distress than they already were. He nudged the fragment before it rolled out of his reach and glared at the whale who insisted on making his evening so hellish; kicked the fragment towards the beast.
The wind gave it extra speed, and while Jett was afraid of the consequences, there was an undeniable satisfaction dancing in his eyes. He drew the girls closer to him, sucking in his own breath as he menetally begged for this to be over--and not result in their deaths. He just wanted to be safe--back at home, in bed, away from all this frightening chaos. His stomach was clenched into knots and he felt like he was going to be sick. It hardly seemed possible, but as he stared at the whale and took in just how easily it was uprooting the other civilians, he turned a sicker shade of green.

He knew it, the whale did come back for another attack! This made him happy, not about the whale but the fact that he had guessed correctly.
Unfortunetly, he was sucked into the air, and before he could grab a hold of anyone, had been pulled into the whale's mouth.
It was lit inside, surprisingly enough, with glowing organs. Weird, but kind of cool. He glanced around to see if anyone he reconigzed had ended up with him, grinning reasurringly at everyone. At least there weren't any bats? Right?
"You know," he said loudly, to anyone who was listening. "I think I saw a movie like this once."

"WHEEEEEEEE~!" Natalia was still orange, and still could care less about what was happening. She was FINALLY getting to effing FLY! That's what she'd been wanting to do ever since she got pulled in to here and still beleived that it was a dream. So what if she was headed right for the disgusting mouth of a giant space whale?
Once inside she was more disappointed that she wasn't 'flying' anymore than she was concerned with getting out. But O. M. G did is smell! Ugh. If she wasn't still 'suffering' the effects of her color then she would have definitively minded and would have definitively been trying to get out. However, she was calm, accepting the putrid smell with a shrug, and touring the inside of the whale with wide eyes.
SO. SHINY.
The further in she walked the worse it smelled....

Anandi was still very okay with everything that was going on - the bellowing, the general rainbow crack-induced craziness. In retrospect, the mellowing effect of the color yellow kept her from hyperventilating into unconsciousness, especially when she ended up being sucked into the whale's giant mouth! Her face maintained its placid look and she almost yawned once she hit the warm and slick innards of the giant space whale. Others were sucked in as well and her only thought was about how it was kind of tight, but it wasn't so bad. What was at the end?
She spoke to the one talking about a movie. "I wonder what movie it was?" Anandi followed the others moving forwards through the whale. Maybe there were lounge chairs at the end? That sounded really nice. And some lemonade! And a SLIP-N-SLIDE. Her enthusiasm wasn't evident, though.

Ricky had passed out beneath her, and a few moments later he was up again. Menthe was watching the poor pained man with soft interest from her seat on top of him when the whale began to suck and attempt to gobble them all up. Jade had a hold of one of her legs. It was all very new.. like nothing she'd ever experienced before.
The loose strands of hair that had escaped from her bun were trying to pull towards the whale, and even without noticing or particularly meaning to, her hands on the man underneath her became a subconcious grip.
All the weight must have helped to anchor them down, even though in the end they ended up parted, he was crawling one way, and she was left clung to Jade. But somehow she'd managed not to be gobbled. Strange.. she couldn't even muster a yay.

Flannery didn't like it, this feeling that she was too scared to do anything. It wasn't something she felt very often. It was strange, and, as she started to realize, not part of her. She felt afraid at that moment, but Flannery Spicer was not a fearful person, and that gave her the courage to stop cowering and stand up once again.
Her knees and her voice were shaking, but Flannery called out to the friend the fear had made her ignore. "Yellow!" she called, waving. Roxanne had to know that real names weren't safe here.
What kind of feeling made people ignore their friends?! A crappy feeling, that's what. A feeling that had no place in her life, that's what.
Flannery faced the whale, clenching her fists with renewed determination. Okay, and a little fear too. She was going to do this. She, Flannery Spicer, would punch the stupid whale's lights out.
And she did punch it pretty hard! She was proud of herself. Then the whale ate her.

All Oompa Loompas are tasty creatures, except maybe Darwin-Loompas. For whatever reason, the orange Darwin managed to avoid getting sucked in. His belt, however, was not so lucky; it did whack the whale's mouth on the way in though.
((Awesome belt causes 4 damage to whale.))

"Don't call me that!" Wallace bawled at Roxy, wiping his eyes on his sleeve before he remembered he didn't have one. "It's already hopeless and we're all going to die, but don't call me that. I'm Blue, okay? My name is Blue. And you're Yellow." He paused and rubbed his eyes with his hands. "Actually you're green, but you're Yellow. He can be Green." He pointed at Steven with his dripping hands, sniffling loudly.
Bela's willingness to go along was appreciated, or it would have been if Wallace wasn't convinced that they were all doomed. "Blue, Yellow, Green, and Mary Read." They sounded like a bad folk band or something. "And that's Red." He gestured to Flannery, or tried to. Was she punching the whale? She was punching the whale. "Red, stop!" he shrieked, darting in her direction, but it was too late. The whale took a huge gulp of air, and down went several people, Flannery, and Wallace himself.
"Why do you always do stuff that gets us in trouble?" Wallace banged against the slimy, smelly, squishy interior of the whale, crying the whole way. They were definitely doomed now.

Despite the fact that her previous attempts to harm the bat had resulted in her own injury, Mal was determined to hit something. Considering that trying to attack the Ménage à trois'ers would mean having to actually touch them, her only option was to keep on trying until she knocked the viscous winged creature the ******** out. Which suited her fine, the gratification of just letting go and punching something in the face so intense she was determined to start up a DC Fight Club when and if she ever got back to Earth.
Mal lashed out again, only to have her whole body hurtle forward as she whiffed at thin air. Her head snapped up in time to watch the bat give a cry of distress, beating its wings uselessly against its host's gale force sucking. It was soon swept away, along with several of her less fortunate fellow civilians.
"Hey! HEY!" she shouted at the swelling space whale, gingerfied hair whipping in the wind as she struggled to maintain her footing. "Give it back, you a*****e! You're not about to ruin my night again!"
No doubt Mal's words would be enough to wound the gentlemanly Mr. Whale.

The tears were freely flowing down Sheila's face as she knelt down on the rainbow road, clutching her left shoulder. It hurt, it hurt! It wasn't fair! She never meant to do anything wrong! She sobbed brokenly as the whale inhaled, slowly leaning forward and hunching protectively over her injury. Sheila was too preoccupied with her injury to look-up and notice other people rising, flying up and into the space whale.
Then again, she was still deaf from the space whale's attack, so it wasn't like she could hear them anyway.Quote: Roll Result: 5 The FIRST NUMBER determines whether or not your character was sucked inside the mouth of the whale. Hawke then clung to Anders as the Fade Space Whale Demon, (******** whatever it was), tried to suck her into it's mouth. Sobbing, she didn't know in her sadness she threw a metal bit that had broken off her armor at it.
Oh well.
At least she had Anders right?

Jade wasn't that lucky. Her hold of Menthe was getting looser and looser until her grip from Menthe's leg slipped and the whale vacuum sucked her inside it's large body.
Jade rammed againgst the slimy tongue and terrifying sight appeared in front of her. The whale was closing it's mouth and taking her as it's prisoner as well.
"No," the woman in kimono sighed and hurried to get away from the whale's mouth but it was too late. The mouth had already closed before her.
Jade flopped on her knees and started to cry uncontrollably.

"Someone just make it go away," Aya wailed. The stupid whale was never going to leave them alone. It wasn't like a bunch of tiny humans, even over fifty of them, could do much damage to such a huge creature. Really, it wasn't surprising. So it was perfectly fine for Aya to sink into despair and cry over it, it really was.
... Except there was no way Aya would have thought that before coming here. Even though everything here was terrible and mean and likely going to get her killed, the old Aya never would have sat down and cried like this. So Aya wiped her face on her top and stood up. She still sniffled every minute or two, and looked like a single yell might have her burst back into tears, but she was up and doing something again.
Which, of course, meant it was time for the whale to attack once more. A sudden gale of wind tossed Aya into the air. By the time she realised it was coming from the whale, not some random air attack from behind her, it was too late. She was past the others still on the ground, too late to grab hold of anyone. Aya made sure to kick the closest part of the whale as she approached. Then she was inside it. Eww.
"This is the worst day ever," she complained, lower lip trembling. Also, her skin was still blue. At least she could pretend it was from the glow of the bright blue organs pulsing within the whale.
She eyed the boy nearby talking about movies. "Did this movie give you any ideas on how to escape?" Not that the movie was in any way realistic. They were surely the first real people to be swallowed by a real whale - especially an alien space whale.
Another girl was walking ahead. Aya broke into a trot. "Hey, wait up!" she called after Natalia. "We should stick together and look for a way out."
And hopefully not walk their way into the whale's stomach and die a painful, acid-based death.

Jocelin would have been perfectly content to sit on the rainbow road and sob to herself for quite some time if the whale hadn't had other ideas. She had gone from the full out sobbing to sniffing and cursing under her breath when she felt herself start to move.
"Wh... what...." Scrambling for something to hold onto as she was liften into the air by the force of the whale's lungs she scrambled to find something to hold onto. Preferably Regina or Amy since she knew they were near her and she didn't want to loose either of them
((As a note. Because Jocelin doesn't want to loose her friends i'm choosing that if either/both Amy or Regina get sucked into the whale that Jocelin is going with them.))
