Eventually, Landon found his way in via the main door and the paperclips hiding out in his pocket. The Californian unashamedly defaced the clip and jiggled it in the lock before hearing it click to satisfaction. Landon grinned and stole quietly inside the room, although he needn’t have taken such pains since no one was here.
He meandered past the teacher’s desk towards the storage closet standing nearby. With another deft jiggle, Landon cracked the closet lock and opened it. Inside, he quickly found what he sought—a digital litmus test, a halogen tester, and several vials. Although he suspected he wouldn’t need these, Landon nabbed a few containers of concentrated chlorine and bromine that he could sprinkle into the pool if it happened to be under-concentrated. The Westerner was about to run back to the pool when an idea hit him. Where were Rutilio and Christian and Kartlos? If they were still in the history class, now was the perfect time to check.
… But after a quick peek through the window, Landon was forced to conclude that there were no friends inside. Perhaps they were already at the pool? Having little else to go on, the Californian ran back to the pool.

Nevada at Your Service! Swing, swing baby but you'll never make a hit! After getting lost again, Marcus finally stumbled into the science lab. He supposed that, according to his schedule, this was his first period class. No one was here yet, but he was ok with that. Nothing like peace and quiet to start a productive day of scamming! He laughed quietly. Then his stomach rumbled, which kind of ruined the effect. He wondered silently where the teacher was.
"I guess it pays to wake up early..." He murmured. Again, his stomach rumbled and he put his head down on the table. What did a guy have to do to get some food around here?! O.O.C: Present! biggrin Watch your back baby, cuz I ain't ever giving in

The full force of Landon's trouble hit him like a train as he arrived to science class. God, one bit of rage really didn't seem like fair excuse for the ire of a third of the Union. How was he going to fix all this... Rutilio must never want to speak to him again...
Landon slumped over in his seat, as if the weight of all this was to much to bear. He dropped his chin to the table and buried his head under his hand as far to many dire scenarios trapped mercilessly about his mind, each compounding his building sense of despair.

Claire gracefully sat down in a desk, carefully balancing a mug of thick coffee and her satchel. She had certainly wanted adventure last night, but not at the cost of only a few hours of sleep. Fortunately for her, her loyal snowy owl had been sure to wake her at dawn as always, so the Quebecois at least did not look like she had been awake most of the night. Not a hair was out of place and her freshly ironed uniform was perfectly in place. Hopefully the coffee, a brew as thick as an Italian espresso and flavored with maple, would help her to feel more awake now. Claire drank deeply from her mug, savoring the flavor.

Nevada at Your Service! Swing, swing baby but you'll never make a hit! Marcus heard the noises of several of his classmates coming into the room and lifted his head off the table in front of him. There were a couple kids he didn't realize, but he did see Landon. Had he been here when Marcus had last been at the school. The Nevadian couldn't remember. But he hauled himself up out of the seat and walked over to slug his brother on the shoulder.
As he got closer, he realized that Landon didn't look so hot. His face was pale and his hands were clenched in a tight fist.
"Hey, bro...." He called out, putting a hand carefully onto the Californian's shoulder. "You ok? Not like you to be so...quiet?" He gave the deflated state a quirky grin and knelt to eye level, trying to get a better view of Landon's eyes. O.O.C: Brother Dearest~ ;D Watch your back baby, cuz I ain't ever giving in

  ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀Normally Florida burst into the room as if he fully expected fanfare, applause and a red carpet to be thrown out for him (especially if he had arrived on time) but not today. The Sunshine State cautiously peeked into the classroom before stealthily sneaking in behind another entering nation then tucked himself in a chair as close to Mexico as possible. There was no where safer than nearby his prima. Though he had originally been born to protect her and Cuba, Florida knew better than anyone that she was the one to go to if he needed one of her territories or, in this case, former territories to be fended off. "H-Hola, Maria," he said cheerfully as if there was nothing weird or odd about how he was acting. "How are you today? I am well. Did you sleep well? You do not look well. I should go call the nurse." This is what happens when she doesn't get her eight hours of sleep. Something must've happened last night, which would explain her restlessness.
