"Ohhhh. THAT'S what you were doing? I thought you were needing to go to the little ghoul's room and lost your way. Not to mention who in Jack's name dances when there is a competition going on, with no dance partner, with no music? You may eat a lot of brains, but you certainly lack some at times." He said, poking her large, slick brow. He then dropped his eyes at the hand at his wrist and looked back up to her. Why was she tugging at him, and wait?! Where did all the other boils go that were going to watch over her?! He was just going to drag her off and dump her off!
EEP!
"I WAS dancing anyways. My date ...wasn't feeling anything for the poor song selection." He'd get more life out of a skeleton, but it was better to blame the lack of passion on music choice than disinterest.
The kelpie still noticed they were on the dance floor and Riley was still holding his arm. "How bad are yer eyes?"

"Nothing too horribly important, checking on Shehk to see how she's doing, and I need to make some amends for a bit of a fight I got into with a certain Kelpie a while back. Otherwise usual meet and greet of friendly faces?"

Ah! Oh no! Junko spotted Shehk trying to flee and hurried after her, holding the front of her dress so she wouldn't trip and step on it. But when the pricolici sat down she sighed with relief and slowed down, coming to a stop near the ghoul with a small smile. "Hi, Shehk~!"

Damien was glad that he didn't have too many of the treats on the table or else there was a very high probability that it all would have been upchucked right about now.
But he already picked up the little meat product and put it on a plate, it would have been bad manners to let it go to waste.
So he weaved his way to the crowd and held the plate up to Jericho.
"Congrats mate, here." he said offering the unwanted sausage, considering the previous song, the hound felt the offering was appropriate, behind a smirk. that no one else would see.

"Well don't let them ditch you again!" Sharra called over to Riley, as he further disentangled himself in the hunt for his date. "If you need me, well..." He tapped his noggin' with a grin, "Do call." He didn't ever mind helping a friend out, after all...and he rather doubted that his djinn would at all mind, since the mindflayer was someone special to the both of them.
When a rather familiar dragon's voice caught his ears, he swiveled, a hand reaching out to the other almost instinctively. "Aksaja!" Ah yes, ever his brother in naughty wit and succulent innuendo. "How've you been?" Now he knew precisely who his alternate dance partner would be, when Yaya saw fit to mingle. They'd had a moment at the last dance event, after all, and since this one was even bigger and brighter than the one previous...well, tradition must carry on!

Barth was, at that point, rather exhausted of twisting. He had danced more than his allotted one dance per dance quotient. And although he had tried very hard (for him), it was no match for volcanic thrusting.
"I think," Barth said, feeling a little faint, "that I'm danced out."
Roch swooped in supportively. Barth thought he'd done his alotted big brothering for the night too. Well, maybe one last big brothering. "Have a good time," he told Claire, doing his best to give Roch a she'd better, but not too good sort of look.
He made his way a little desperately towards the punch bowl.

 Cady left the booth to approach one final contestant with a cheerful red balloon. After all, it looked like the ghoul had tried REALLY HARD. "Holly, for your effort, you get this balloon. Yeah, Shehk probably had more excited looking days. She looked up at the futakuchi onna and frowned, then sighed, laying her head back down. "Hi." the pricolici said in turn, lacking much enthusiasm. She'd pretty much gotten all of her enthusiasm out of her in dancing in front of a group.

Quietly Mitsu had continued to watch the dancers as they trotted across the dance floor, at least until a certain cowboy landed on the table. As he spun her plate of food had gone off somewhere in the distance her eyes as wide as saucers. She wasn't so much scared or startled as she was in awe at his ability to continue the dance so well from being thrown across the room.
Watching him and the tatzel continue their dance off from earlier Mitsu clapped for them excited to see their skills once again. They were both really good dancers.
Shortly after it seemed an actual dance off had begun. There was a small look of longing to join the group on the floor but Mitsu had remained in her seat. Not that she would have known what to do with...that particular song. And what was Jericho doing with his hips anyway?
When Levi finally joined them back at the table, Mitsu did her best to smile at the ghoul. "You dance so well, Levi."

"Well she is the reason I'm sporting a full head of hair." She tipped her head slightly showing off fully the spot of Shehk's hair stitched every so carefully into her own skull. With the display done she hooked an arm around Siddie's wandering towards Shehk and Junko.
"Ladies, how ya'll doing tonight?"

West had ceased his dancing as soon as he could without disqualifying himself, inching his way back over to Holly to wait for the judging. When his name was called, he hesitated, the lameassitude washing over him for a moment. But the moment passed and he smiled. For a second. A very brief second.
When Holly was called too, the smile came back. He refrained from shouting you suck at her as she went up to claim her prize.

"Yeah, you definitely did great," Roch told her, trying not to laugh at that serious face she had. "Um, you alright--I mean, yeah, go cool off, you worked... hard?" Roch called after Barth. "I like your brother," he told Claire. "I'm guessing... some sort of lazy demon, right?" Then he glanced around. "So... wanna do something else?" he asked her.

Junko's hair fell limp for a moment, pouting as she grabbed a chair and sat down beside the pricolici. Once she was sitting she scoot the chair closer and closer until she was close enough to wrap her arms around Shehk, nuzzling her cheek into the pricolici's as she gave her a squeeze before letting go, one hand coming to rub behind an ear for a moment. "You look really pretty tonight. And nice dancing! That looked fun~." Her smile returned, determined to keep it that way for as long as she could. Smiles! Smiles! Must smile! Must be happy!
"Good idea taking off your shoes too. Phew! I'm thinking of doing the same myself!" Junko laughed, the hand that had been petting Shehk's ear dropping to rest on her own lap. She blinked and looked up as Sammy greeted them, giving her and Siddie a wave.
"Hi~! Nice to see you two. I'm great! Tonight is so much fun. Right, Shehk?"

Aksaja grinned at the other boil and gave him a quick nod. "Mostly busy getting the Host Club all set up, and before that was Open House." He shook his head slightly. "Plus classes, and all the rest of it. I kinda hope things calm down around here soon!" Though . . . he also didn't really want the semester to end. Because it would mean he might have go home for a while.
A slight frown crept its way onto his features at that thought, but he quickly shoved it aside. No. There was no reason to think about that tonight. This was a party, and he should be enjoying it! "What about you? Been busy too?" There was a pause, and he smirked faintly. "Maybe with Yaya . . . ?"
