Dorian growled soflty and opened feline eyes to glare out the window. He carefully moved from Daft and climbed out the window. A few minutes later there was the sudden cut off of the rooster's call followed by a startled squawk, then silence.
Aya woke up suddenly, her eyes popping open. She yawned then and stretched and rolled over to look at Sawyer who was awake as well and staring up at the cieling. Aya started, "Sawyer?"
Sawyer blinked and looked over at her.
Aya smiled, "You're back! We were so worried about you. You wouldn't say anything and you looked like you were in a coma with your eyes open!" Aya exclaimed.
Sawyer blinked at her but didn't say anything. HEr lips did quiver at the edges a bit but in the end she sighed and turned over.
Aya frowned but didnt' say anything more. She got up, tiptoeing around Sawyer, slipping on her robe and exited her room.

"Hey!" Tip muttered, hearing the attack of the rooster. He stood and went to check on Daft, slightly worried that it was him that was the rooster. An empty room added to his fears. "DAFT!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, which was replied with several groans. "WHAT?!" Came Daft's angry yell back. That was responded with silence. He rolled over with one wing tucked over his face and his swollen ankle resting on the other leg. He grumbled under his breath and tried to get back to sleep. "Whats he doing in there?" Tip mumbled as he re-entered the room he, Derek and Linx were sharing. "Who? What about flying potatoes?" Linx mumbled, his eyes flashing open to look at Derek. "Why are you covered in mustard?" Derek groaned slightly. "Dont ask..." He mumbled and sat up.

Dorian dropped into the window, the dead rooster's head in his mouth, its body dangling loosely. He beamed over at Daft.
Aya, walking past the room, saw the dead bird and screeched.

Daft winced and resisted the urge to retch at the dead fowl, curling up into a ball so he didnt have to stare at it. Hands covered ears from Aya's scream, as a headache was already creeping up on him. Derek dashed out followed by Tip and Linx. "Aya? What is it? Who-" His speech stopped as he glared at Dorian. He quickly nudged Aya aside and shut the door, leaving Daft and Dorian alone. "Damn Cat..." He muttered, and put a hand on Aya's shoulder. "Its just Dorian, Aya." He said, comfortingly. "What happened?" Linx asked, yawning. He blinked sleepily at Aya, then shrugged it off after hearing Derek. "I'm going downstairs..." He muttered, and disappeared from where he was standing, a slight humming sound in his wake.

Dorian stared at them all, wondering why they weren't proud of his conquest. Even though Aya had stopped screaming she was still making distressed noises.
Mr Aramaki came bounding up the stairs with a bat in hand, ready to take out the offender. HE blinked in astonishment at Dorian with the dead rooster, "Get that out of here before my wife sees it." HE whispered urgently, making shooing motions.
Dejectedly, Dorian left the window sill and dragged his prize into the woods.
"Why is there screaming?" A peevish voice growled. Sawyer was standing in Aya's doorway, leaning heavily on the door jam and she looked exhausted.

Daft soon brushed past them all, feathers falling as he retreated into the bathroom. The door slammed shut behind him as he emptied the contents of his stomach into the toilet. "Dorin thought it to be a good idea to bring in a dead rooster..." Derek murmered, massaging Aya's shoulders comfortingly. "Its gone... he's gone." He murmered, trying to calm her even more. "You should rest some more..." Tip murmered to Sawyer as he walked over in her direction. "I'll check on Daft in a bit..." He said to the others.

Aya clung to Derek, her face buried in his chest, getting mustard on her face. Who would have known she was so squeamish?
Sawyer panted, "No, I'm fine....I gotta...train....get my....legs....." Her knees buckled and she slumped to teh floor, "Stronger." She finished.
Mr Aramaki helped Tip bring Sawyer downstairs and set her up so she'd be close by when breakfast was served.
"What was all the comotion?" Mrs Aramaki called from the kitchen.
Mr Aramaki called back, "Nothing much, you know who Aya is around some things." He evaded the question.
"Hiro!" Her voice cut in like a whip crack.
He grimaced, "The boy Dorian killed the rooster." He answered, "Its alright, there was no mess, he took it outside." He added hastily.

"I better go check on Daft..." Tip murmered and disappeared upstairs. "Daft?" Tip asked, knocking on the bathroom door. The sound of water running ceased and Daft soon cracked the door open, a tired and un-happy face peering at him. "what?" He growled. "Breakfast should be done soon..." Tip murmered. "Count me out." Daft replied and shut the door once more.
Derek wrapped a protective arm around Aya and carefully directed them downstairs. "You should probably let go. You're getting mustard all over you." He said to her, loosening his grip and leaning slightly in the doorway of the dining room.

Aya put a hand to her head and looked as it came away yellow. For a minute she stared at it then she started laughing.
Mrs Aramki walked in, wiping her hands, she was about to ask what was wrong with Aya when she saw Derek covered in mustard. She blinked then started laughing as well.
Sawyer looked at both mother and daugther, "I think its official. They've gone crazy." She murmered and blushed when Mr Aramaki gave her a look.

Tip came down and blinked at the three of them. "What the...?" He asked. "Aya, how'd you get covered in mustard?" He asked. Linx giggled. "Now you'll both need showers!" He said. Daft soon appeared behind Tip, still looking slightly sick. "Great." He muttered before walking past them all and going out the front door.

Mrs Aramaki gathered herself first, "You're supposed to wipe it off dear if you were going to bed." She giggled.
Aya had subsided to giggles as well.
Mr Aramaki put an arm around his wife's waist and kissed her forehead, "How about I help you with breakfast." He suggested steering hre into the kitchen.
Aya gestured, "You can go first." She offered, snickering.

A blush about as red as a tomato appeared on Derek's cheeks and he nodded dumbly, dissapearing upstairs.
Daft returned into the house cursing and swearing as he limped upstairs. Flopping onto Dorian's bed, he screamed into the pillow, frusterated. His ankle had swollen up again, and throbbed as he tried to figure out the best way to tell Dorian not to kill all the birds in the neighborhood. Another frusterating scream emitted into the pillow as he resited the urge to morph into a bird and try to fly away, despite the still scabbed-over, un-cleaned, bare patch on one of his wings. Screams turned into sobs as he hit his ankle on the wall.
Tip frowned as Daft stalked past him, and listened to very muted screams echoing very slightly to reach his ears. "Pillows dont mute things as well as he thinks..." He murmered.

Sawyer frowned, "Was he limping? Did he hurt his leg?" She asked. She wasn't looking so gray now but she still looked worn out.
Aya blinked, "I'll bring him so ice if he hurt his leg."

"I dunno." Tip said, and shrugged. "I think his ankle was purple..." Linx murmered, handing Aya a papertowel he got from the kitchen to wipe off some of the mustard.

Aya waved it away absently, "I'll go get him some ice, then." She grabbed an icepack out of the fridge, wrapped it in a clean dishtowel and made her way upstairs, "Knock, knock." She poked her head in, flexing the ice pack, "I brought some ice for your leg." She said.
