Rio smiled and nodded, then curled back under the blanket. Kai smiled and hugged the pink bunny and went to the TV and turned it on and started watching. He curled up on the couch and got confortable and started flipping throught he channels. He stopped on a show and looked at it. He watched a yellow sponge start talking and he frowned. "What... What the ******** is this? A talking sponge? How stupid..." then he changed the channel to see the words CSI MIAMI flash across the screen.

Malcom stayed upstairs with Rio. He was wandering what brought on the fever so fast. Before long he got a text. "The doctor is here Rio. Please behave." Downstairs the door opened. KenThe man walked in and closed the door. He looked at Kai. "wheres Malcom?"he asked.

Rio groaned and hid under the blanket, hoping the doctor would be stupid enough not to think looking there. Kai smiled at Ken and replied, "He's upstairs in his room with my brother Rio."

Ken went upstairs. "Whats wrong with you Malcom." Malcom laughed. "Good to see you too Ken. Its been awhile." Ken crossed the room. "I haven't seen you in almost a year now. I was surprised you even called." "Well one of my pets has a fever." He pulled the blanket down. "This is your patient,Rio." Ken sat down on the bed. "Nice to meet you Rio. I'm Ken"

Rio pouted, and hugged a pillow and grumbled back, "Hey..." and looked away. Kai walked into the room and said, "Be careful. Rio hates doctors. He might bite you if you don't watch out." Rio rolled his eyes and said, "Doctors are evil... They always give people shots and stick those wood sticks to touch the dangly thing in your mouth..."

Ken smiled. "Sorry you don't like doctors Rio but I got to do my job. From what I hear you have a fever." He felt Rio's forehead. "You are warm." He looked at Malcom. "When you notice he was sick?" Malcom wasn't about to tell Ken he was sleeping with Rio and Kai. Ken would chew his head off. "About 20 minutes ago maybe." Ken just nodded and took out a Stethoscope. "I need you to take a few deep breaths Rio."Malcom watched Rio carefully. "Rio,no bitting."

Kai giggled at how annoyed Rio looked and walked to stand at Malcom's side and watched curiously. Rio took deep breaths then his eyes widened as his chest hurt and he started coughing. When he stopped he looked up and muttered, "Ah... Sorry..."

"His lungs sound full. It sounds like nothing but a minor cold but I'm not sure." Ken looked through his bag and pulled out one of those wooden sticks. "Malcom mind asking him to open his mouth?"
"Open up,Rio. I'll be right here."

Rio glared at Ken and said, "You're not putting that in my mouth..." and hissed. Kai looked at Malcom and asked, "You wanna hold him down or have me control his mind?"

Malcom could already tell holding him down wouldn't do much good. "Start with the mind control Kai."

Kai smiled and got onto the bed and crawled onto Rio's lap, and wrapped his arms around his twin's neck, forcing him to look into his eyes. Rio tried to push his brother off, but Kai's eyes had already gone black. Kai smiled and leaned his head on Rio's forehead and ordered, "Rio, behave and do what the doctor and Malcom says... Ok? Follow their every order until I tell you not to." Rio fought his brother's control for as long as he could, then his eyes color dimmed, becoming grey. He nodded, and Kai climbed off of him and said, "Hehe, there we go! He will follow every order you give him. But it has to be in the form of a camand, not a request."

Malcom nodded. "He's all yours ken."
"Alright and when this is over Malcom you are telling me about your new pets." Ken looked back at Rio. "Ok Rio open wide."

Kai sighed and bugged Malcom and leaned against him and aaid, "I'm tired now... takes a lot to contro a twin of the same species..." Rio opened his mouth as commanded and waited for any other orders.

Malcom smiled and put Kai in his lap. "Its ok Kai. Ken is also done now." Ken finished checking Rio's throat. "Abit of a sore throat. Rio just has a small cold and some chest consestion. Just make sure he stays warm and getting some rest." Ken wrote something down and handed it to Malcom. "Get him this. It will clear all that stuff from his chest." Malcom nodded. "thanks Ken. Kai you can release Rio."

Kai's eyes went back to their normal color and he laid his head on Malcom's shoulder. As Rio's eyes went back to heir normal color he glared at Kai and angrily hissed, "you litte s**t! How dare you control your own twin!" His eyes became black for a second and Kai yelped, as a small red line formed on his cheek. Kai pouted and said, "attacking your brother? How mean..." then he stuck his tongue out and Rio yelped now, as a cut formed on his cheek as well.
