Shadow nodded. He did his disappearing trick yet again.
"DAMMIT!" Rouge punched a wall. "NOW WHAT DO WE DO?!" She was taking this very, very hard. Almost as hard as she hit the wall.
Sonic ran in, carrying Knuckles. "Darn, did we miss him?!"
Rouge nodded, eyes closed.
"I can teleport us all to the flagship. I believe I still have enough energy." said Tails Doll.
Tails raised his eyebrows. "What...do you mean by 'still?'"
"Slowly, as Metal grows more powerful, I grow more powerless." said Tails Doll. There was almost...sadness in his voice.

Dante looked at Doll. "Do it. Take us there." He told him.
Justin looked around for any sign of the others, or maybe Metal or Shadow.

Tails Doll nodded. Again, he did the purple ball thing. They vanished, and appeared near Justin.
Rouge glanced around. She wasn't paying attention to Justin, nor Knuckles. She was probably looking for Shadow and Luna.
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnng." Sonic said in disbelief, staring up at the giant tower on the flagship. Actually, the whole thing was huge in general, much bigger then the others in the fleet.

Justin looked around again for any sign of Metal or Shadow, but they were nowhere to be found.
Dante gave an impressed whistle. "Damn. This ship looks pretty badass." He said to no one in particular.

Tails Doll's eyes sweeped the area quickly, as if looking for something they could not find. "Strange. It seems deserted. At least out here."
"I say that before we do anything else, we find Luna." Rouge declared, "Maybe we'll also find out why Metal wants to 'talk' to her. I doubt he wants the treasure of the royal family, seeing how he afforded to construct this huge battle fleet."
Sonic nodded, letting go of Knuckles(as the echidna was able to stand for the most part). He walked to the base of the large tower, to the entrance. He tried pulling it open, with no success. "Locked."
Tails hurried over. "Lem'me try." He took out some odd tool, and began tinkering with the door.

Dante looked around a bit. This was TOO convenient. Not even a single robot in sight. This had to be a trap.

"I see Metal designed a large, open space on this particular ship." Tails Doll observed. This was true: Most of the large ship was open, flat metal.
After about thirty seconds, Sonic sighed boredly, crossing his arms and tapping his foot. "Are you done yet?" He complained, frowning.
"Almost. Be patient." Tails said, fiddling with it still.

Justin analyzed the massive ship with his eyes. "Must be like this for Metal himself. This feels like a boss stage for a video game, which means that Metal's new form must be freaking huge." He told the others.

"It's able to become huge, but for the most part....Not much different." Tails Doll answered.
"Got it!" Tails said, puttign away the tool. The door slid open. He beckoned for the others to follow, and went inside. They did(even Knuckles).
"Wow, it's as big as it seemed from the outside!" Sonic shouted, gazing around in awe.
"Shut up!" Rouge hissed quietly, "Do you want Metal to know we're here?" She glanced in all directions. "I suspect he'd be at the top. How do we get up there?"
Tails pointed at an elevator door. "That's one way."

Justin nodded, walking towards the elevator, ready for anything.
Dante followed the young ice demon, eager to face this Metal character.

The rest of them followed, getting into the elevator.
"Wow. All the buttons have an M on them." Sonic commented, pushing the one which said 'Top Floor.'" The doors slid close, and they shot up quickly. In a few moments, they'd reached the top. As the doors slid open, a blast emitted from nearby. There was a hallway, and a doorway on the side.
"I'll ask you again...." said Metal's voice. "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?!" Another blast, followed by a girl's shriek.
"That's enough, Metal!" shouted Shadow's voice."She obviously doesn't know!"
"Least he's got SOME dignanty left...." Knuckles mumbled. He put his hand on the wall and slowly made his way down the hall(although the hand might be because he still couldn't stand very well). The others followed. They stood a bit from the doorway, and everything in the room was visable. Although Metal, Shadow, and Luna did not seem to notice them.
Metal was pacing back and forth, hands behind his back, in his new form, while Shadow was on his knees, hugging a shaken-looking Luna. There was burnt scarches on the metal floor, indicating she had been dodging something explosive.

Justin heard Luna's shriek, and glared at the door. He couldn't stand hearing people suffer. He readied his nunchaku, then froze the door, smashing it to pieces and entering the room.
Dante entered soon after, pulling Rebellion off his back.

(Wasn't much of a door, as they could see in clearly xD)
Metal looked up at Justin and Dante. "Do you really want to fight me? It would only end badly. For you, that is." He said softly. "Even without the Lotus Gem, I am still the most powerful being in the universe." He turned his gaze on Luna. "Foolish girl. You WILL tell me where it is."
Shadow held Luna close, stroking her head, glaring at Metal. "She's told you what she knows." He said.
"Maybe so. Or maybe she's lying. No matter." Metal returned his gaze to the others. "Seeing her friends die slowly and painfully should bring her to talk."

Dante glared at Metal, a surge of power overflowing in him. He then morphed into his Devil Trigger form, then charged at the machine.Justin charged him as well, swinging Cerberus violently at the mech.(Dante's Devil Trigger form)

Metal leaped into the air. He stopped in midair, arms outstretched. Apparently, now he could float. "What say we take this outside, boys?" He looked at the wall, raising his hand and blasting a hole in it.(the wall, by the way, not his hand xD) He then shot out the new gap, hovering over the large 'arena'. (which, in truth, is just the big flat open space 3nodding )
