Exactly. Which makes me wonder....
Would biting Match have the same effect?
I would consider Match's power source to be something more akin to moonlight than sunlight. Which probably seems silly.
So what would it be like if a werewolf bit him instead? I guess the werewolf would get a power boost! What if Match were to BECOME a werewolf!? He'd be able to transform at will! Or maybe he'd be a werewolf all the time.
Crazy.

Well Kryptonian physiology is different than humans. However if the infection is magic based rather than biological, than I suppose they could become infected. Really it's all plot based and considering this is an alternate universe, status quo isn't well..status quo.

October 11th 1985
Sliced the jugular of a killer today. His blood poured from his throat, faster than his cries for mercy. His disease will no longer plague the street he inhabited. But there is much work to be done. I read previous entries and find myself wondering, with all the murderers, thieves, and monsters I have put down when will it stop? When will their corruption finally be stomped down and their deranged light fade? Perhaps time will tell. The police will find the man's corpse, festering under the light of street lamp. For now I need rest.
