 Ren snapped out of his book induced happy coma and pinched Lucian's cheek, "Alright, Mr. Cheeky, let's go take a look at it." Ren walked up to the directory and looked at Jade with a sly grin and wink, "Well, if you take a look at the student body around here you'd see why. Lot's of special people from all dimensions and planes of reality which means lots of information to cover for everyone!"
Ren looked around the huge directory for the "Help Desk" to get his own library card so he could check out all of the books! He tapped the label and pulled at Lucian's sleeve, "C'mon! I wanna get a library card."

The teen shrugged and motioned for them to follow him. Soon, they reached the help desk, where an aged librarian pinched his cheek and teased him about being around 'such pretty girls'. He shrugged, his cheek still in the woman's hand. "They're just Inna's roommates. I'm showing them both around before I go off tomorrow." "You're leaving early?" "Yep. I see no reason why I should stick around for much longer. I'm not really needed here." "But you haven't even told Inna about being moved to the fro-" "Can you just give them their cards, Mrs. Carrack? We're running out if precious learning time." The woman nodded, immediately setting to work.

Ren's eyes snapped to the green-haired boy. Lucian cut her off, but he was quite sure of what the Librarian was going to say... Front Line. How could he say 'there was no reason to stick around' after yesterday... Ren's chest ached with the knowledge that even after everything Lucian still thought he was useless.
He saw that Jade was completely out of the loop on this one so he reserved his reaction to the new information, but he stared intently at Lucian. He was going to have a long talk with him later... alone. He also didn't reply to Jade's question, not wanting to speak out of turn.

"I'm going to war," he replied simply. "Inna's still injured from nearly dying, so it's up to me to head his part of our army." Pulling a worn volume of Julius Caesar from the restock cart, he started reading, shutting out the world.

"It's true," Ren finally spoke up after receiving his card, "I... just heard about this yesterday from, Lucian. He's a strategist..." The youthful bunny's ears drooped and he whispered to Lucian quietly, "Why didn't you tell me you were going to the front line?" ((Sorry for the delay, phone call. x 3x))

He shrugged. "I didn't think it concerned you. Look, you don't understand what it's like being Inna's brother. He can do no wrong, even when he came out! This is my one chance to prove I'm just as good as he is, and damn it, if I have to die doing it, I'll do it."

 " That sounds kind of stupid. Wait... There's no kind of in that. Everyone is as good as they strive to be," Viaresu murmured lightly before leaning over the desk to the librarian. “ Can I get a part time job here? I'm good with books although I look like I'm up to no good.” His dark blue-greenish-grey eyes shifted back towards where Lucian was with a slightly bored expression. " It just sounds like you're trying to out-do this brother of yours and make yourself look better. I believe that's called selfishness and self-loathing. Just saying."

"Oh my god! What is it with boys! Lucian! You don't have to go and get yourself killed just because you want to be better than your brother!"Jade yelled at the green-haired boy,pausing for breath then yelling again. "Going to the front line is like going a suicide mission! Oh darn you!" Jade noticed the librarian was getting mad at her for yelling. "You are special in your own way!" She pointed to his hands, "Use them. Your a great artist. Practice, everyday, and you'll see."

John and Jack walked into the library.John then picked a seat and opened his own book and continued to write in it hoping to be able to finish it soon
Jack on the other hand started to walk around looking for books he then spotted people and he walked over to them "Hello so how has your day been" he said to them nicely

It looked to be a free-for-all on Lucian's little declaration and Ren was feeling a bit crowded by the whole affair. He looked at Lucian with tears in his eyes, "None of my concern? Even... after all we talked yesterday? I said I'd go with you to protect you and it's none of my concern? I showed interest in you over your brother and it's none of my concern!? Well... fine Lucian. I know we're new friends, but if I'm so unimportant compared to family approval then I guess anything you ever have to say is 'none of my concern.' I won't try if you won't trust me." The irony of that statement was completely lost on the poor bunny as tears flowed from his eyes and he ran deeper into the library away from the prying eyes of other patrons and angry library workers.

Cursing under his breath, Lucian waved away the three beside him and ran after Ren, eventually catching his arm and spinning the bunny to face him. "Would you listen to yourself? Damn it, Ren. I know what I'm doing. I don't need someone chasing after me like I'm a child. This war is no longer about Inna and showing how we are equals. My friend was just murdered!" His grip unconsciously tightened as he stared into Ren's eyes. "The leader of the Demonic Lords and the reason for the war killed her. James has always been evil, and there has always been a good reason to fight him and finish the war, but now it's personal. Elena was my best friend, the one person who loved me despite my whining, anger, and even my own ridiculous stupidity and now, she's gone. You can't expect me to tell you everything. There are some things that no one should be forced to bear. I trust you with my life, Ren, but whether or not you can take care of yourself, James and Carmen will find a way. I can't let you get hurt, not if I can prevent it."
