Adon winced as James pulled him out from his hiding spot. He looked over at Rosie, who blinked back at them in surprise. She looked up at Edel. "Who are they?" she asked, tugging on the bottom of her dress.
Adon blushed and turned his attention back to Luke and Alex.

Luke smiled at Adon. "It's okay... Don't be shy," he said. "What's your name?" he asked, and he had that fatherly tone that Adon knew so very well; it just seemed natural for him.

Adon just stared at him for a moment. "A...Adon." he replied carefully.

Luke smiled. "Huh... Well, that's a funny name," he said. "Not in the bad way though-- It's cute," he clarified, and he moved over and picked Adon up. "So, you're my son, eh? Both of you?"
James nodded happily, and Luke's smile widened.

Adon looked at Luke for a moment, then sighed deeply and hugged Luke. Alex smiled up at him, then down at James. "Well...this...certainly is a surprise." she said, then looked over at Luke. A bit awkward now.

Luke, for his part, was busy being hugged by his two future sons and heartily enjoying the experience.
"So I'm guessing you two are from the future. How'd you get here? Miss Edel said you teleported, but... Who did it?" he asked, but it didn't seem to be directed at anyone in particular.

Edel grinned, then snapped her fingers. All she needed was for someone to ask that inside her house, and a snap of the fingers should bring the person in question into the room if they existed.
In the corner of the room, a slim black cat poofed into existance. CC blinked then stared wide-eyed at Edel andthe others. "....crap" he mumbled.
Adon stopped hugging Luke and looked to CC.

Luke blinked and looked to CC.
"I remember you," he said. "You were that cat Atropos was petting down in the Underworld when we were there."
James smiled and moved over to CC, picking him up and cuddling him.

CC purred appreciatively when James picked him up. "Yeah. Good to see you again." he replied.
Adon looked at Luke when CC mentioned Atropos. "Oh...you met Atropos already?" he asked, his tone conversational.

Luke nodded. "Mmhmm. We went to see Hades and met her. She... liked me."
He blushed slightly, but said no more on the subject.

Alex made a face and crossed her arms, looking away as though she wasn't very happy with just how Atropos had liked him.
"Oh...I see." Adon replied. His tone conversational. "Have you seen her anymore since then?"
The cat in Jame's arms just snickered.

Luke shook his head. "Naw, I haven't. And apart from coming onto me and having my life thread in the hands-- paws-- of a talking cat, she seemed friendly enough at least," he said with a small shrug.

".....I see. And what about....erm....well....have you had any big bad guys you've had to take care of?" Adon asked. His tone still conversational.
CC just purred and nuzzled against James.

Luke frowned. "Well, actually, yeah," he said. "Some Black Lanterns is all I've really fought thus far. Them and a guy named Hancock who kicked my butt. But apart from them, not a whole lot of action for me."

Adon looked up at Luke quietly for a moment. Then, quite slowly, his eyes widened to the size of fifty-cent pieces. "Black...Lanterns?" he asked, his voice controlled but unable to hide the sudden and very clear panic those words seemed to bring. Then he cleared his throat and tried to keep himself composed. "And...ah...h-how long ago was that?"
