Seles Faulkner: Daughter of Apollo "Bright and hopeful as the sun!" It was another bright and gloriously sunny day--as usual in Camp-- and the weather compelled Seles to leave the beach. The camp grew strawberries as a source of income, but Seles figured they wouldn't care if she snuck a few strawberries, after all, the Hermes kids had probably stolen more than their fair share. Hair in a rare straightened moment, and dressed in a cream one-piece with birds Seles happily walked among the plants, stopping here and there to pick her choice berries and place them in a basket.
The sun was blazing down, but what did a child of Apollo care about that for? Even the heat couldn't damper her spirits although it did compell her to wear an almost comical sun hat. It wasn't long before she showed another Apollo kid give-a-way: terrible poetry, "Strawberries in the gentle sun, ripening in the sweet aromatic spring, sweet without sugar, oh such happiness you bring!" Seles sighed with pleasure as she picked a bright red strawberry and ate it.

Gwendolyn was walking by the strawberry fields, picking strawberries and bored out of her mind. "Strawberries in the gentle sun, ripening in the sweet, aromatic spring, sweet without sugar, oh such happiness you bring!" Gwendolyn stopped walking when she heard the poem and looked towards the source of the voice. It was Seles, the girl from the beach. Gwen smiled and clapped politely, walking towards the brunette. "Wicked rhyming," she said, grinning at the girl. Gwen bent down, picking up a strawberry. "So, do you always walk around spouting poetry on the spot?" she asked, straightening up, her eyes shining.

Seles Faulkner: Daughter of Apollo "Bright and hopeful as the sun!" Seles laughed cheerfully, her bell-like voice failing to show her embarasment. "Wicked, huh?" Seles said playfully,"You should hear a good poem once 'n' awhile! I don't always spout poetry you know. Most of the time it's useless comments." In Seles's mind the day had quickly become perfect.Tipping her hat and taking a elegant bow, Seles smiled mischeviously and pulled out a small container of whipped cream from a pocket in her dress. Seles really had no clue if Gwendolyn liked whipped cream, but Seles knew she could easily polish off the container herself. "Fancy taking a small break? If you don't mind dirtying your cloths we can have a small picknick! I have some finger sandwiches and a pint of lemonade!" Sorry for the short post D: I have to go

Gwendolyn curtsied. "I'd be honored, ma'am," She said, straightening up with a smile on her face. "I love whipped cream!" She exclaimed when she saw the canister. It was so light and fluffy. Whipped cream was a daily snack of hers. Gwendolyn rocked on the balls of her heels. "Where should we sit?" she asked.

I raced to the strawberry fields and plopped on the ground. As soon as I sat down my hyper faded. I felt worn out more emotionally then anything. I sighed and smiled hoping no one would notice my drop.

Delanna raced after Emma to the Strawberry Fields. "Eep! Strawberries!" she said as she plopped down next to a strawberry bush. She began plucking them one by one off the bush and into her mouth, pausing in between to chew. She smiled after she finished each one.

Blake sat dwon in the fields and re-gained his energy, "Geez you girls run fast." He said plucking a strawberrry and eating it, "I've never been good with smell but Taste! Yeah I'm pretty damn good with taste." just as he was about to eat another one, a boar rose above his head claiming him to be the rightful son of Ares. "Cool Ares , guess it could have been worse huh, Emma?" He finished eating the strawberry, and stood up, "I don't even look like a son of Ares but hell is doesn't matter."

I rolled my eyes at the boar. "I was not expecting that one." I laughed and plopped a strawberry in my mouth then I looked over at Delanna. I laughed again, "Someone likes strawberries, geez" I laughed yet another time. "Hey after this do you guys feel like going to the beach?" Then I popped another strawberry in my mouth.

Delanna laughed. "Yep! Strawberries are good. And okay, wait just one second," she said. She grabbed as many strawberries she could fit in her pocket and stuffed them in there. "Kay, ready!" she said with a smile.

I got up still bursting with energy. I did one more back-flip for good measure and rushed away towards the beach. I warm afternoon sun felt good on my cool skin. No matter how long I had been her it was like everything was a new and beautiful expirence, most of the time anyway. I slowed my pace to take in the world around. Then I bent backwards so I was looking at delanna. "Hey, so Delanna how long have you been at camp anyway?" I asked still bent over to look at her. My hands rested gently on the back of my upper thighs.

Delanna touched her chin and looked up at the sky. She was trying to remember when she first came. She brought her head down and looked back at Emma. "Hm, I think about a year now," she said as she began to think about when she did come.

Seles Faulkner: Daughter of Apollo "Bright and hopeful as the sun!" Seles smiled cheerfully, her cheeks filled with color and her green eyes shining playfully. Gesturing around the corner, Seles took out a checkered sheet from a corner of the basket. It was a typical picnick-looking thing, but it was clean and kept them -mostly- off the ground. "How about right here?" Seles asked as she begain unfolding the blanket"This is as much shade as we're going to get and now we're in reach of extra strawberrys!" Smiling, Seles spread out the blanket near the bushes's limited shade and sat down, setting the basket and container of whipped cream out before her. "You know, I really wish I could make a magic item. I'd make a magic bag that had unlimited space" Seles laughed as she gestured for Gwen to sit down "Then I could carry more food and drink without having a massive bag!"
