I agree with you on hating summer, I am much more of a winter person myself. And congratulations on finding a new sweetie, I'm so happy for you. heart I wish both of you the best of it.

Thanks for all your good wishes. Its kind of a weird situation. We kind of saw each other on several different occasions but before we could really get together reconciliations with my "really bad for me" ex kept getting in the way. I am so lucky that they hung in there so long and waited. Well they didn't exactly wait, but none of those relationships really lasted. I think we will last though. We are both really happy, we have a lot in common so we never run out of things to talk about, but there are enough differences that keeps us excited about each other. Still I feel I have something to prove, that I am not going to leave because of my ex. It would never happen this time. This time we have gone far enough that its a real relationship. I was EXTREMELY loyal to my ex, but that's because I am an extremely loyal person.

We went to an M.C, Escher exhibit last week and it was fantastic. The conversation we had after was the best art talk I have had with anybody in years. I do believe I am in love

It really is. Today we carpooled into work. I went to her house and then dropped her off at work, after work I picked her up and she took me out to eat. It was yummy and the conversation was great.
She does this great thing, where she sings to me all the time. She changes words to songs. We were busy for a few days and couldn't see each other,and while we were on the phone, the song two weeks came on the radio and she started singing, well she never sings sad songs to me, but she kept singing the last two lines "it'll still be two days til we say we're sorry"
Well when I saw her two days later I asked her what was up, cause I like the happy songs. Then she said sorry sang it again and said it was time for make up sex!!! I am guessing you would just have to know her to get how adorable it was. I know she planned using that line on me for two days.

We both have a few things to clear up in our lives, but I think she wants to talk about when we can move in together. The hard part is, we both really love our houses. Hers is bigger which is great, but mine is definitely cooler. Mine was owned by an artist in the 60's and 70's. What do I do??? I know I am jumping the gun a bit, she hasn't even asked yet, but What do I do?

I agree with entervixen on the living situations front. It's really nice that she sings to you. smile

I am taking today off. No work. I am only going to do what i feel like, I might not even paint.

Cat Like Thief's favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, so she and I and another person are going to read it this summer. I might get started on that. I might knit some if I am watching a movie or something. Really just goofing the day away. I am going to blow some bubbles. I got purple bubbles!!! Have you seen the colored bubbles? They are so cool. They don't float as well as regular bubbles, they are heavy, but they are pretty.

I tried to get her to read Mists of Avalon and while she gave it a good shot she just did not like it and only finished half the book or so. I can't imagine somebody not liking it.
