Remlik stared at Nik "How can you believe that?" he said sadly. "Ive been alone my whole life. My godly parent has had 15 years to care. Yet, there is still no care from he...or she...or it." he spat spitefully as he clenched his fist. Suddenly, Remlik sighed and released his fist. "It is nice to meet you Nik, son of Hermes. I am Remlik, son of...whoever gave me this" he told Nik as he clenched at his necklace. "There is this greek symbol on it" he said as he turned the necklace over to reveal the symbol "Ϡ"."So, I doubt it is from my mortal parent."

Remlik twirled it around his finger, as he had done so many times before. But this time it was with a new sense of hope, not loneliness that he held it. "I wish it was so. It might have been the only good thing they ever did for me." he said as he dangled it in front of his own eyes. But on that note he clenched it tight in his hands. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well Nik. You may be the first friend i make here." he said smiling as a faint light began to emanate from his clenched hand.

Remlik smiled. "Since we all come here at one point, to this cabin that is, it is a good point for a child of Hermes to do so." he said as he moved his fingers over the necklace. What is this? He thought, the necklace felt weird in his hands. There was something on it, a raised edge of sorts. Remlik pinched it. "What is this?" He questioned as he pulled on the edge. Suddenly a sword emerged from the necklace. It was masterfully made and seemed to have seen many battles. For some reason, it felt perfect in Remlik's hands and seemed to be calling out to him. "I know this blade." he said as he admired the sword in his hands. "The sword of Peleus" he said in awe that he knew the name of the weapon. He turned to Nik. "Why do i know it's name?" he asked anxiously.

Remlik felt the sword in his hand. "It feels like... Like the sword has a will of its own." he said as he stood up and twirled it a little. Remlik stopped mid swing. "This sword." He said "Was made by Hephaestus himself." He spoke the words gently in awe as the thought came to him. It was as if the sword had put the thought in his head. Maybe my parent is looking down on me he thought affectionately.

Remlik smiled wider. "Maybe i am." He said happily. "Now. How do i get this back into the necklace?" he asked. The sword hummed slightly and shattered into flakes of light. "Guess thats how. Do you have a gift from Hermes? he asked inquisitively.

~Twin telepathy...~

Quina and Kaio stepped up to the door of the Hermes cabin, and glanced at each other before Kaio opened the door. The two girls peeped in on either side of the doorframe. They walked in looking like the floor might decide to bite them. Seeing that the beds were taken, the girls huddled in a corner. They looked a little lost, with no bags, except for a wallet full of cash a credit cards.
"Quina," Kaio whispered to low for anyone but Quina to hear, "keep it safe." Quina instantly understood what Kaio mean, about the wallet without being told. This was a cabin dedicated to the god of thieves, so flashing cash was not smart.
"We may as well socialize, I don't want people marking us as snobs before they even meet us." With that, Quina got up, and Kaio got up to find someone to talk to. As was the twin's way of doing things, they made it their business to speak with someone who was not already engrossed in conversation. The nearest girl happened to be sharpening her knives, which Quina found a little disconcerting, but Kaio took no heed of it. They addressed the girl with the hat.
"Hello!" Kaio said brightly
"I'm Quina, and this is my sister-"
"Kaio." Kaio said pointing to herself. "We're-"
"Twins." Quina finished
Both girls stifled laughter. They weren't trying to talk over each other, but they just knew what each other was going to say before the other said it.
"Sorry." They said in unison, even though they weren't the least bit ashamed. Then they noticed the symbol hovering over the girl's head. So much for conversation. Kaio pointed to the sign.
"You're lucky. Have fun your new cabin!."
"Good luck!"
The twins walked away to leave the girl to her packing, both hoping to be claimed soon.

"I have this sword." Nik said as he showed Remlik his necklace. It had a simple black, cloth band and a small, silver sword charm.
