[[Louis : Train : Training Car]]

Louis tilted his head as Ultima took interest in him, he smiled looking back at her, "In all honesty, I was no skilled mage back home. I dabbled a bit here and there out of curiosity, so don't take my word as law, but I believe it's called arcane. I'm a bit surprised myself. My abilities were not even a fraction of what they became after THIS happened." He referred to the current state of the world, "Why do you ask?"

[Dawn : Training Car]

"She looks like an angel to me..." Dawn whispered out loud. Slowly breaking out of her trance and stopped staring at Ultima.

Dawn listened to the conversation that went on. Oh right, Kyle said something about trying something out on someone. But seemed that Kyle and Ultima were uneasy of Louis for some reason. Something about Darkness. Dawn thought of it for awhile and shrugged it off.

"Well if you don't want to use it on him. I could always be your test subject. I mean I figure I got brain damage as it is. What more can you do to me." Dawn smiled a little trying to make a joke out of the brain damage, something she did often.

[ Kyle ; Ultima : Training Room ]

"Hmm," was all the came from her for a moment, raising an eyebrow as she leaned in toward him. Her eyes gleamed for a moment, before Kyle cleared his throat. Shrugging, she turned and began to hover back toward Kyle, deciding to take her place at his side without so much as a word.

"Sorry about her- despite her title, she can be a bit lacking in the social department-," he apologized to Louis, only to receive a thump on his shoulder from the High Seraph, who was glaring at him. He rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, yeah, I could try it out on both of you really, considering the healing factor," he muttered, before sneaking in a return thump on the back of Ultima's head. "After all, it's just a boost. It just might help Louis out as mu- BLRRG."

In respond to his counter-thump, Ultima had 'playfully' sent a powerful Banish force his way. And considering her own potency in magic and the fact that Kyle wasn't expecting it, the teen was literally sent into the wall a few feet away.

The wingless-angel merely 'hmphed' and turned to look away, her nose in the air, a smug aura about her. Kyle merely grumbled, easily getting back up to his feet.

"So... yeah. Who's up first?"

{Davy Jones : The Flying Dutchman : Captain's Quarters}

The Captain of the Dutchman had long since stopped playing the organ and had turned his attention to the replicas who continued to enter his quarters, without consent and with no respect towards who's quarters they really were. If they were members of his crew he would make them all pay for it... He saw it all, as the apparent leader created some abomination of a creature and then as another entered and the two of them schemed regarding the group that they had mentioned to him earlier regarding Jack Sparrow, then two more entered one male and one female. And now the same "kid" who had schemed with Ajora had just come back, shoving a man whom the Captain had never seen before. His eyes narrowing intently at Ajora as he used his foot to slide forward the chest that contained nothing less then the Davy Jones' own heart... literally. The Captain trembled with rage and stood up making his way toward Ajora, his claw raised, and the tentacles that made up his beard twitching and trembling.

"Now wait just a minute! You have no right to use my heart as some kind of bargaining chip!"

{Kuro Oni : The Flying Dutchman : Captain's Quarters}

Kuro Oni watched from the wall he had leaned against, more then less a look of disinterest on his face as he watched Cutler Beckett struggle only to stop as Celia grabbed onto his throat from behind. It didn't take long for the representative to regain his composure though as he saw the chest that contained Davy Jones' heart.

'What is Ajora up to...?'

The Dark Corsair remembered Cutler Beckett all too well from the movie, remembering his pathetic original not really having a liking for the East India Trading Companies representative, who used his power to acquire pretty much whatever he wanted. The replica really didn't care for the man either way. As the Captain of the ship approached Ajora, looking like he was about ready to chop off Ajora's head with his claw Kuro summoned his hexagun back to his hand in a wisp of darkness, not aiming it but just holding it in case something unexpected happened.

The Red Nocturne Heartless that Kefka had summoned had indeed floated idly by as the two jesters did their ritual and dance. As the strange light appeared around the Heartless it's shape began to dissolve, forming into nothing more then a dark mist... As the ritual completed the mist lingered slowly drawing from the surrounding darkness, causing the strange substance to expand as slowly a new far more sinister shape began to form...

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.The frame of the Heartless began to mold the strange funnel like shape of the heartless slimming and elongating the body of the heartless forming into what looked more like long robes as the stubby pointed legs of the Heartless disappeared to be replaced by the strange robe. Next long slender arms began to form, purple clawed hands forming out of the billowing sleeves of the robes that had begun to take on a turquoise hue. The round head of the heartless receded into the collar of the robes and the curious yellow hat began to fade to a light leather color as it took on the shape of the signature steeple crowned mages' hat. The wide rim of the hat falling down about the face to about the collar line, leaving nothing but the yellow orbs of the heartless still visible. From the sides of the hat erupted what looked like horns with a slight twist at the ends. As the traditional Heartless emblem appeared on the center of it's chest blue feathered wings tipped with gold at the tops erupted from it's back and the curious yellow orbs narrowed and elongated to form sinister looking eyes that glared around the room...

This new menacing being seemed to just float there. An aura of fire and heat emanating from it's body. Not really needing the wings that hard formed on it's back. Though they flapped slowly and rhythmically regardless. It was clear it was no longer just a mere heartless. It was sentient and there was intelligence in the evil golden slits.

[Dawn : Training Car]

Dawn was stuck between laughing or going over to make sure Kyle was alright after Ultima's counter-counter. She stood there, biting her lower lip to keep from laughing out. The relationship the two of them seemed to be a very entertaining one. It was entertaining to watch.

She covered her hand with her mouth as she let the laugh out in a small giggle before she answered Kyle at last, "As I said, I am up for it. Suppose one should check to see how it works on non-dark element before trying it on the real thing. If it, not saying it will, hurts me. It would be a bad idea to use it on him. At least that is what I think."

The Yellow Opera Heartless hovered aimlessly as Zorn and Thorn did their ritual dance, but some force kept the creature from wandering outside of their field of magic. Unconcerned, it simply floated around during the first part of the ritual. As the dance continued, however, there was a change in its behavior. It slowed down considerably, and eventually stopped all together. Then it began to shake uncontrollably, dissolving into a black mist as it did so until there was nothing there but formless blackness.
User Image
The transformation was much the same as the Red Nocturne's had been. The body formed out of the mist, taking the shape of something humanoid, and with wings. Smoke accompanied the shape shifting, and the last half of the transformation was concealed. Lightning accompanied it, and the new form stepped out of the smoke. Yellow eyes narrowed menacingly as they considered the surroundings. There was an intelligence behind that gaze.

They were not mindless Heartless any more.

[[Louis : Train : Training Car]]

Louis' eye twitched once as Kyle returned a blow to Ultima, Did he just... thwip Ultima? I can't beleive he- Louis stopped his thought proces watching Ultima's returning blow, rather overkill considering but then again, perhaps that was her own superiority complex talking. Louis looked back to Kyle as he finished then listened as Dawn spoke.

"Sounds fair, she goes first. Test to see if she is affected. If it's negative for her, then for me, if what you say is true, should be worse. In which case, you might want to be casting that enhancement spell on our enemies instead. Haha!"

[ Ajora ; Celia : The Flying Dutchman ]

Celia visibly tensed at the coming of the Captain, but didn't move, as if ordered otherwise.

By the time Davy Jones had made his way over to Ajora, the Replica had lithely used his foot to flip the box into the air via putting pressure on the edges, causing it to be thrown into one of his arms. "Your heart? Oh, but we've been over this, Davy-"

At that point, Ajora used his other hand to summon forth a sphere of malicious Dark energy, crackling with stray bolts of energy as it neared the Dead Man's Chest.

"Your heart is mine. I can destroy it and end you with but a thought- each of us can," he threatened, though he seemed more amused by the entire situation than worried. "If I want to use something of mine as a bargaining chip, I will. Now, why don't you play me a song on that organ, hmm? What about something they'd play in Tortuga?"

Ajora released a light laugh, keeping his eye on Davy in case the moron made any sudden movements. All the while, Cutler Beckett seemed a bit wary of the whole scene, though hardly frightened- he'd dealt with all manner of pirates and villainy in his business.

"Back to business- I am Ajora. This silly buffoon is Davy Jones. And that's all that matters in these negotiations," he said, turning his gaze finally to Cutler while Celia moved in between the Captain and the Replica. "As for what I want, well. I just need you to listen to me for a few days. Do as your told, and you'll get control of the seven seas when I'm done."

"Just what sort of orders would I expect, should I agree to such terms?" the older male asked, staying true to his profession- making sure there were no untidy loopholes.

"Oh, nothing you wouldn't have done on your own, I assure you," Ajora responded, chuckling, as if there were some inside joke. "For example, the executions of the 7 Pirate Lords, et cetera."

"How would I do that?" Cutler asked, suddenly tensing somewhat- how did this man know of his intentions? He'd never vocalized his ideas of a sea-faring monopoly-

"Ah, that's quite a tale. I'll explain it over time," Ajora said, finally dispelling the Dark Matter sphere before sticking his hand out. "Do we have a deal or no?"

There was a brief pause on the opposite side, Beckett eying Ajora warily, weighing his decisions before cautiously sticking his hand out to shake the younger male's hand.

[ Kyle ; Ultima : Training Room ]

"Well, that's that, then," Kyle muttered, chuckling along with the other two before taking a deep breath. He held out his right hand, palm open and facing Dawn, as he focused Holy energy into it. As his hand began to glow, so to did Dawn's own hands; soon enough, the Seraphic Heart appeared, emblazoned on the backs of her hands. She would feel a rather noticeable increase in her physical strength.

"I think I'm able to target specific traits, like strength and magic- I decided to go with strength this time, since it's likely going to be the most obvious to discern," he said, tilting his head somewhat, observing her for any detriments. "What's the verdict?"

[??? : ??? : The Dark Tower]

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.The Blue Rhapsody Heartless seemed to twist and turn as it hovered, as if doing a miniature dance, waiting for its orders to be given. Such orders never came, however; while the duo of jesters performed their ritual, the Heartless even went so far as to have its hat hover of its head somewhat, spinning before landing once again. It couldn't move; it couldn't do much of anything besides wait. Wait for orders.

The light that enveloped them was far from a good light; just a glow of magic, no more 'Light' than a bright fire, a strike of lightning, or an icicle's gleam. However, the magic did force the Blue Rhapsody to decompose, becoming a black mist much like its brethren.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

With the ritual's close, the mist began to take shape: unlike its brothers (sisters?), the Blue Rhapsody became a large, hulking creature, its back hunched over and clothing covering its entire mass with with thick fabric. Snowflakes were stitched upon the brown and tan cloths, and a distinct misty-frost surrounded its monstrous form. The Heartless Emblem appeared just over the center of its chest, along the stitchery that kept top closed, and as the Emblem was formed, two large, blue wings seemed to burst from his back.

The Darkness that had so enveloped their hearts, the powers that had so possessed them gave them powers beyond their pathetic normal brethren. However, with this unnatural taint came an unexpected addition- sentience. Though their intelligence was still limited, the corrupting Darkness within had seeped into their instinctive natures and granted them consciousness.

A demented, shattered consciousness.

Its golden-amber eyes glared at its two brethren before glaring at the clowns around them. Who was he to kill?

[Dawn : Training Car]

Dawn tilted her head at the new feeling. She did feel different. She did feel stronger, and not to mention markings on her hands. Dawn nodded at Kyle. All was good.

"My brain is still intact," she said with a half smile, "Though I wonder..." With her finger to her lips, her eyes wandered from Kyle to the training dummies, then Louis. She grinned slightly as she looked at the Ivalican. Nothing is like testing it further, now was there?

Then without much more of a warning she summoned her fans into her hands and charged at Louis with a burst of speed. She brought down one of the fans onto Louis. With her own strength and the current boost, she could only hope if she hit, it didn't hurt him too much. This was a test after all.

{Davy Jones : The Flying Dutchman : Captain's Quarters}

Davy Jones' eyes narrowed intently at Ajora as he brought the chest up from the floor and into his arm and then summoned a sphere of dark energy threatening to destroy the chest and with it his heart... Thus ending the Captain's life. He raised his claw at the kid and snapped it shut once, causing a loud snapping sound.

"Make no mistake... I would take great pleasure in killing you right now pup!"

Regardless though the captain turned away, his one spiked leg impacting the boards of the floor sharply as he made his way back to the organ and began to play a song. Not something that would be heard in Tortuga though as the kid had asked. Something that came from the Captain's frustration at the situation as the two of them seemed to complete their deal...

{{cue: Foolish Decision}}

{Zorn & Thorn : ??? : Dark Tower}

The two court jesters watched with great curiosity as the three masses of black mist took on their new forms, each one seemed to mold itself differently though with the distinct auras of their original forms still emanating from them only intensified. The two jesters were curious as to why they each had turned out different but paid it no mind really. They all had taken on the same basic form though... A black mage with feathered wings.

"Incredible! We shall call them the Black Waltz!"
Far greater their powers have become!"

They turned their attention back to Kefka and cocked their heads in the same direction in curiosity.

"Do you approve of them?"
"Approve of them do you?"

[Cloud ; Beatrix : LoD : Throne Room]

They were concerned about her. Beatrix and Kyla hovered close by, willing to help in any way they could.

He picked Maggie up effortlessly. He was half tempted to throw her over a shoulder, but one look at Kyla had him changing his mind. Practically, it was so much easier to carry someone over your shoulder, especially someone the Buster Sword wielder considered a burden. However, she was a girl... and Kyla was watching him. He carried Maggie bridal style, wondering all the while why he would give a damn.

Whatever.

"No," was his response to her question. He headed for the door.

Beatrix stood. Her head had cleared up considerably. Something about the lightning bolt striking her so directly and unexpectedly had had her reeling for a while, but it had finally worn itself off.

"He has it under control," she answered, pointing out the obvious. Cloud was half way to the door already, walking easily as if he wasn't carrying any burden at all. The general saw him glance at Axel for a moment as he walked, and she could have sworn he was staring. She blinked, and the image was gone. Hmm...

"Come now, we must proceed without delay," she continued, doing things with impeccable manners and integrity. She walked over to the Emperor, and inclined her head, addressing him, "Your majesty, we take our leave. You have my sincerest condolences for the loss of your men." Her tone and facial expression suggested she had been through similar circumstances herself. She was a general, after all. Men fought under her command. There was nothing more to say.

[Alan :: LoD :: Throne Room]

Alan sighed a bit. Everything was happening so fast. It didn't help that he was in the awkward situation of having so much to say he didn't know where to start. Either way, question and answer time should probably until he had gotten cleaned up and everyone had gotten something to eat. He was curious to see this group's transport, too. Wordlessly, he followed Amy out the door, making a point to hold his head high despite how he felt.

"Oh!" He said, suddenly. "Final Fantasy X-2!"

When the inevitable awkward glances came, he muttered, "I, uh, just remembered where I'd heard about Dress Spheres before. So," he turned to Amy, casting around desperately for some sort of conversation - anything he could talk about that might keep her spirits up. Alan was always the type to try almost too hard to cheer people up. "I guess you're using 'Gunner'? I really like your fighting style, what with the whole gun fu thing you have going."

[Amy : LoD : Palace Gates]

Amy looked over at Alan curiously, and then comprehension dawned on her face. Oh yeah! The dress spheres. Duh. She could have face palmed at that moment.

"Right! Um... Kichi's got 'em, I think... not sure who Merlin gave them to." She hadn't exactly learned Jon's name as 'Jon' when they first met. In fact, they had never really been formally introduced, and she had taken to the habit of just calling him Kichi like a few of the others did. It was less confusing, seeing as there was another John, too. She never understood why he went by that name, and made a mental note to ask him sometime.

"Gunners," she said, adopting a serious tone, "Are the bomb digidy." No elaboration on why was forthcoming. It was like reciting an unquestionable fact straight from a textbook.
