Is a secret... well, ok. I'll share:
I used the gradient tool in Photoshop - with the spectrum option (as opposed to the transparent rainbow, which I used on some of the parts as well... makes it a little softer.) Also, I think I used a gaussian blur a little on some of the parts. If I had more patience, I would have done the gradiant by hand instead of using the tool. xd
Had to fiddle around a bit too, to get it to look right - figuring out what angle to put it on and such. Then, shade over the top. That's the hard part, 'cause I like to shade using the darker forms of the base colour, but this time I was forced to use black 'cause of the rainbow. The hair was the worst.... had to lighten the shading a lot, otherwise the rainbow was lost. 4laugh Ah... Nifty. heart I tried using the gradient yesterday, a normal pastel, but ended up getting annoyed since it wouldn't work normally while colouring over in for the folds and shading and such... x__X So I kinda scrapped the layer preferences, flattened the later and worked manually. XP Oh, I think the middle edit didn't load the last time! The one in which she's got the mistletoe/holly over her head! Thats so cute! heart
