Maria was quick to arrive at her room, which was mostly an empty space except for her large bed and her small toybox. "Sorry there isn't much, but mother only died recently so I haven't been able to get much in!"
"I still cannot believe that old troll was jealous enough of your face to try and starve you, since it's torture enough being stuck in your room for your whole life without anything but a beating and a tongue-lashing..."  Even then, I still lost to icecream. You

Tao stood and walked up at Alex. He looked at the ribbon on her neck, and pushed away the urge to take it off and play with it. He smiled at her and put a hand on her head,"You look lovely.",he commented before walking to the back.
It took him awhile to change into the outfit. He wasn't used to so many buttons, and he fumbled with the earrings. . .but he got them in. There was no way in hell he'd put that ring on his tail. Tao then walked out, adjusted the collar of his coat and smiled. "Done~",he chimed, finally getting the top few buttons undone. He could breath finally!

Alex smiled at Tao,"Well, you look handsome." she said she poked his shoulder,making sure to keep her finger away from anywhere near his mouth.

Marcie walked down stairs with the dress on and her hair ironed, she had some hair extensions so her hair was below shoulder length now and flowed easily in her bare shoulders, she had taken almost all of her piercings out and only replaced the cross on her left ear for a heart, everyone seemed to be wearing ribbons and roses so she settled for a couple heart shaped hair pins, it was the queen of hearts party after all, she wanted to show her outfit but as she entered the room and saw tao in his garment she couldn't help the urge to laugh and so she did.
((you guys just took the pictures literally? it was only about the dresses and shoes not the whole earrings and such lol))

Marcie just couldn't stop laughing, is not that the garment looked bad on him, on the contrary he looked rather handsome, it just was not his character, seriously, what was she thinking when she designed it? Well, she did had a crush for tall, dark and handsome guys and tended to imagine them in princely attires, that must have happened but tao was the exact opposite of princely so this was gold, she mitigated her laughter just enough to say "You look.... handsome" and started to laugh again after closer examination, she had added the rings as a joke and didn't expect him to wear them at all.
The room seemed quiet all right even if it was empty at least it was not a dungeon, so the rumors must have been true, the queen of hearts didn't have much imagination for torture or so Nobody thought, there was a plastic package on the bed so he approached, it had a note attached
'I am sorry i could not deliver the dress myself but i had some problems on my way here, i hope you understand and i'll be looking forward to todays dance'
next to the note was a frustrated chibi of a hare >.<; Nobody smiled sweetly at the note, it had been not long ago he received something similar together with the clothes he would wear tonight, yeah, he would let the queen live for now, he was beginning to understand why Marcie just couldn't kill her but he could not go back on an order so soon, maybe he didn't want the queen dead anymore but he still had to test Marcie's loyalty to his commands.

Tao just watched as Marcie started laughing and, to add to it, he laughed with her. Only a lot more louder, more obnoxious, and sarcastic. He rolled his eyes and chuckled,"Hey, you made it for me.",he pointed out smiling. "But thank you."
Dorthy was slightly confused, she rather liked Tao's outfit. What was so funny? She just watched the scene before her, with a hesitant and unsure smile.

Alex was looking at her shoes,Death traps....that is what these stupid shoes are! Death traps!!,she hated heels, just hated them.
Rabbit didn't say anything he just stared at Marcie and Tao for a second, then held his arm out for Dorthy, "Shall we?" he asked, not wanting to be late, but early.

"My, it's sooo cuuuttteeee!" she commented about the little drawing, quite pleased. No doubt she'd save the note, simply because of the hare on it. Even then, I still lost to icecream. You

Dorthy looked at Rabbit and tilted her head, then hesitantly took his arm. She gave him a smile."Lead the way.",she said tilting her head slightly.
Tao followed Alex's stare and raised an eyebrow,"I assume you know how to walk in them, but can you dance?",he asked tauntingly, though somewhat serious. He didn't want her breaking her ankle.

Alex looked up,"Yes,besides if I fall, I'm bringing you down with me." she said with a smile.

Tao couldn't help but laugh at her statement as a thought came up. "Only if I'm on top.",he mumbled, smiling. His ear twitched, which made the ear rings jingle some. He closed one eye and pouted. 'Whyy?'
Dorthy kept quiet again, keeping herself focused on the path right in front of her. Had she ever danced before? Oh! Why did it only occur to her just now? Why? She made a face, obviously mentally kicking herself.

Marcie stop laughing and " I know, i made and i am quiet proud of the outfit itself but i am not so sure whether you'll enjoy wearing it or not" She giggle as in that moment the ears on his ears jingled " I told you i don't know what i was thinking when i made it, probably just on your body and not on the way you act" she said placing her hand on front of her to cover a small smile "But you do look good on it and i mean it" she then looked at Alex and her amused face changed to a more concerned one "You don't have to wear heels if you feel insecure"
Nobody looked at the queen and felt a little stab of pain in his chest, maybe he would retire for the night? they still had the ball... She need to change for the ball and so did he, for some reason he didn't want to leave but they would be late if he spoiled himself since the queen did not seemed like she cared "i am afraid i must take my leave, i have to get changed and so do you"

Dorthy gently scratched the side of her head, laughing weakly. "M-Mmm. . .no, not really.",she said truthfully, her face deepening in pink due to embarrassment. Dorthy gave herself one last mental kick before sighing. He would probably scold her for not saying anything sooner.
"Marcie, you never know what you're thinking.",Tao said with a face palm, then looked up and over to Alex.
