Taking her hand, Eric climbed up aboard and sat next to Roxanne. "And heavier." He added once he got control of the reins. He turned the horses around and steered them back for the inn. "Thank you for help, sir!" He said to the yard owner with a wave. In minutes they were back on the road.

"It's great to see the side of you that isn't the dark brooder." He held the reins in one hand and rubbed her arm with the other. "Who knew the great and evil Roxanne could be so normal." Added Eric, her nature so much different now than it was the first time they met.

"Oh I remember, which is why I'm taking the scenic route, I'm enjoying this to the fullest. Though running away together, what happened to picking up other men?" He asked, wondering if once was enough. Eric had to wonder would there ever be a second time between them. Unlike Roxanne, he was unsure if he had an itch, or was he just in the moment?

"Say, you hungry? The others would had eaten without us."

"Eh, that was just a fallback plan. I'm sure everybody has their perfect match out there somewhere, you just gotta play the field till you find em." Roxanne replied. Eric might just be that person for Roxanne but only time could tell if this would turn out to be true or false.

"While I am hungry, we have been missing in action for a great deal longer than our task should have taken so I think it best if we held off on getting food until we get back to the tavern. With any luck the others haven't eaten yet and we'll be right on time to join them."

Roxanne hoped she wouldn't be looking far for her perfect match, but settling down might be a stretch for one like herself. With a profession like hers it wasn't a great idea to stay in one place long because as soon as something bad happens everybody things they're the one to blame. She'd see a few adventuring couples during her travels, that wouldn't be a bad life.

As the pulled up outside the tavern, the smell of freshly cooked breakfast could be smelled drifting on the air. In response, Roxanne's belly roared in hunger.

"Well to be honest none of us were expecting to be carrying kids." Mina said with a shrug, tugging on her shirt to cover what belly she could. "Heck, I never even planned to become a mother. I thought I'd just become that generic witch in the woods when I got old. Mommy, never really was a job on my mind." She went quite for a moment as she rubbed her belly. The silence was soon broken by her stomach letting out a growl. "well, the kids are hungry." She giggled. "Have you had anything to eat yet?"

Mina smiled and took Firins hand and with some struggle from both of them, got up. "Lets go eat." She smiled as she waddled for the door. "We'll be back later Burllix." She said, not sure if he would have heard her. She made her way to the dinning hall of the inn and smiled. "ooh that smells good." She said licking her lips.

"Agreed." Roxanne said, flipping the stable boy another silver coin as she waddled off towards the tavern entrance. "If they ask where we've been, make up something convincing. They're more likely to believe you than me."

As they entered the tavern, Roxanne smiled as she saw Firin and Mina making their way down the stairs. Grabbing the nearest empty table big enough to seat them all, Roxanne waved the pair down and pointed to the table.
