Stephanie had gotten so used to waking up early with Hayley, so when she woke up around seven that morning, she wasn't surprised. But not particularly happy, either.
Her eyes opened, very slowly, and Landon came into view. Alright, that made her somewhat happy, at least. She smiled, a sleepy smile. Also, she had considered falling back asleep.. just until he woke up. But she knew it would be a failing attempt.
She never could go back to sleep after waking up.
Reluctantly, she slipped out of the strong arms that held her oh-so tightly. She leaned over the bed after getting out of its warmth, to peck Landon on the cheek.

After a nice, long shower Stephanie came out in a towel. But it didn't take long for it to come off. She was going through her suitcase when the notes came under the door. She walked over and plucked them off the floor. Massages, cool.
Then she didn't need to get too pretty just yet. But later, she could get all sexy for this lunch.
Sounds good.
In her panties and bra she jumped onto Landon and kissed him on the forehead. "Hey Hey! Wakey wakey!"

Kaitlyn made a few more laps, it was very relaxing. Slowing down, she flipped onto her back and floated around for a moment, keeping her eyes clothes as she caught her breathe. Standing up straight she flipped her hair back so it wasn't in her face, running her right hand over her cast. It was then Kaitlyn noticed James standing there. "Oh. Good morning. I didn't wake you did I?" Walking over to the edge of the pool, she looked up at him. But it was just too tempting, he still had bed head. Biting down on her lip, she hopped up a little bit, grabbing a hold of his legs and pulling him forward as she went back into the water. He would have to go over her, but it was so going to be worth it.
Sure he looked awake mentally, but physically he didn't look all there. Plus it was fun for her. Smiling and laughing she couldn't help but watch the water ripple from the impact. Perfect execution. "I have never fully done that successfully." Kaitlyn said jumping up to sit on the edge of the pool. From her position she could reach a towel for him if he needed.

"Nah, I just wondered where you were when I woke up."
He smiled as she swam toward him, but the expression didn't last long.
Nope, because she actually pulled him into the damn pool.
He hadn't been expecting it.
So there he went with a huge, clumsy splash, clothes and all. At least he hadn't had something nice on...
"Oh yeah? Good for you then, new feat" he said, sticking his tongue out at her after coming up out of the water. He shook his wet hair like a dog, and then drifted back to the edge.
So of course, he had to wrap his arms around her before she could go anywhere, and pull her back in, flinging her around and into the deeper side, him following right behind. ..And even when your hope is gone

Stephanie giggled uncontrollably when Landon awoke with a ... very interesting noise. She pecked him on the nose. "Good morning cutie, we have massages... poolside. And then a very fancy lunch."
She rolled off of him, and kicked her feet up into the air. "And we have no time to waste. So, go shower. And then we'll head down to get our massage on."
She sat up, biting her bottom lip. "And you may want to hurry and get out of this bed before I get all ... well, before I make sure you don't leave it all today."
Yes, sleepy Landon was possibly the cutest version of him. And it was driving her crazy just to look at him laying there in bed.. with her.

Kaitlyn couldn't help but scream as he pulled her back into the pool. And here she was going to be nice with the towel, but no. It was on, this meant war. She smiled as she came back up for air, she didn't toss him into the deep end. But she was going to get him, for she had the advantage. He was wearing clothes, which would slow him down in the water, while she would be fast cause of her attire. A mischievous grin appeared as she went back under the water, coming up behind him. Her hands pressed down on his shoulders pushing him under, once he was far down enough, she pushed off his body to get a head start while she swam away.
Splashes and echoes could be heard in the room, along with her laughter. This was fun, she couldn't deny it. Kaitlyn continued to head towards the shallow end, so she could walk up and get out. Cause going to the edge and climbing out was totally cheating within her mind. And thus ruined the fun. "I know. I"m that awesome. Total ninja. You didn't see it coming."

When Landon peeked his face out she grinned. "No maybes! I shall win one day." The blonde giggled before sort-of flipping off of the bed and crawling to her bags.
She rooted through them, searching for something comfy to wear.
Her black shorts and a simple red tank top? Their clothes would just come off for massages anyways. So, why get all fancy?
She slid into her clothes, threw her hair up, and laid flat on the floor, on her back. "Sloooow!" She yelled, meaning for Landon to hear her- Obviously.
Stephanie was rather impatient.

True. A smelly Landon would not be fun to cuddle around with. Not that they were going to have much downtime like that today.
Which was probably for the better. Less oppurtunities for them to go too far, according to Landon.

Stephanie grinned when his soaked body stepped out of the bathroom. Just a towel.
Had she forgotten how damned sexy he was while he was away at college? Jeesh!
The blonde sat up, turning to watch him dress. "I didn't feel like getting up. Do you know how amazing it is to sleep all morning.. with no crying, no tugging on my hair with Hayley, doing what she thinks is whispering, mommmmmy mommmmmy are you awake?" She laughed. "When obviously.. I'm not if my eyes are shut."
She pulled her knees to her chest. "I'm really missing her." She sighed softly.
"When? Uhhm.. I guess we just go whenever? I don't think the card said a time.." She stood up, reluctantly, and looked around.
"I think I misplaced it.." This was when she needed Landon back, especially.
Stephanie was fine with organzation when it came to very important things, like Hayley's favorite blanket.. and Hayley herself. However, when it came to trivial things, she could never remember where she put things. But Landon used to have a knack for just knowing where whatever she needed was.
"This is why I should never touch s**t." She threw her hands up in defeat.

After Kaitlyn had dunked him and swam off, is when he came out of the water and ripped it off like a beast, roar and all.
With a belt on loosing the pants would have been more trouble, and less spectacular, so he didn't even try.
He dived under the water, his powerful arms working to pump him forward as he held his breath.
James stayed under right to the shallow end and positioned him just right to launched out of that too, which was hard because he had to scrunch his legs up under him just right, but he managed.
"Trying to escape?" he teased, playing it smooth now, slinking toward her. ..And even when your hope is gone

A small 'eep' just escaped her lips as the corners turned up into a smile. "No. Of course not. What would give you that idea?" He was making his way towards her, and she was backing up to get away. Who knows what he was planning once he got close enough to her, and she wasn't going to take that chance to find out. Kaitlyn wondered how he got to her so fast, sure with lack of shirt it would be easier to swim. But his pants should be dragging him down, was he really that strong?
Kaitlyn was in a difficult position. She didn't want to let him out of her sight, so turning around and swimming away is out of the question. But she couldn't swim that fast backwards with a cast on when he swims forward without any difficulty. So unfair, how did this turn out? Seriously.
"Is it too late to call a truce? Or wave the white flag? A distraction to give her some time to come up with a plan. Or maybe he will actually go for something like that. Who knew for sure. The bottom of the pool was starting to slop down as she continued to back up towards the deep end. She was having difficulty staying above the water unless she was somewhat floating on her back. Which made her a sitting duck just there in the water.

Landon listened with a small smile as Stephanie seemed to be relieved she didn't have to wake up to Hayley, complaining about the mornings when she did... only to say she missed her.
It made him think of the biggest addition to his life that would come out of all this.
It was amazing getting Stephanie back, of course! But then he thought of Hayley... He had a child, a DAUGHTER. He still couldn't quite wrap his mind around it. It was scary, yet... wonderful. They had a child, and he was going to be there for her now.
As Stephanie answered his question with saying she had misplaced the card, Landon chuckled.
"Of course you did."
And since he hadn't known about it, he too, had no idea where it would be.
"Yeah... Very true. It never stops you the next time though," he teased, sticking his tongue out at her.
"Well anyway, do you wanna go now then or later?"****************************************    As soon as forever is through

Stephanie flashed Landon a fake glare. "Maybe if you weren't taking forever in the shower, or sleeping like a log... you woulda been watching me!"
She bit her bottom lip. It was really going to bother her... not being able to find the damned notecard. Not that it was important, by any means. But she absolutely hated misplacing things. It aggitated her.
She shrugged, trying to shrug off the feeling of aggiatation along with it. Failing, but a massage would do her good.
"If we stay in here, you're not keeping your clothes on." Steph grinned. "Actually, you're not keeping your clothes on either way. But if we stay here it won't be the massage lady who's hands are going to be all over you." She reached out, snatched his hand and pulled him to her.
"Soooo, thats your decision cutie." The blonde placed a small kiss on the tip of his nose.
Yeahhh, she was definietly having fun making the whole 'waiting' thing hard on him.

So he could face up to Kaitlyn instead of feeling like a d**k every time he showed affection for Stephanie... So he could... could meet his daughter. Get on with his life, the old and the knew.
