((Alright MiLynn, just promise to get a B at least....then we might forgive you... jk ^^ ))
The bike swerved when the additional passenger hopped on, but Kai got it back under control quickly and easily. Part of him was somewhat relieved for some reason he couldn't quite place.. he didn't care weather the girl had to hold onto the backpack or his back while riding.. so he wondered why he'd been tense till a few moments ago. Since he wasn't able to place it Kai sped up a bit more, knowing that Miss's bike could easily keep pace and Falcon was in the air so she didn't have to worry about road conditions.

Kit clung to Kai's backpack carefully, she didn't want to throw the bike off balance or Kai.
So where are we headed?
She said to him as he sped up. She was also slightly puzzled when she felt a sudden release of tension from the boy in front. Was he nervous about her jumping on the bike? She frowned slightly and her ears flattened sideways.

((were did this morgan person come from? and besides, her being after me doesnt fit my background, or the storyline. one more thing, though this is just my overdeveloped sense of elegance, morgan should probably try to be a bit more subtle when inserting herself into the story right in the middle))
kiana cringed again at katies response to her brief bout of consciousness, then leaped into the air, followin above and slightly behind kai and emily

((Alright, I'll change it so she's only after Kat. When I read Kiana's profile I didn't see much in the way of history to begin with but I should have pmed to ask. On a different note, from reading the premise of the story of the RP the military is -supposed- to be after Half-breeds so I'm a little confused how that doesn't "Fit the storyline."))

((@watchcat: Your rpc's bio doesn't really have much to go on for who might be after her so it doesn't clash with anything..
@greendragon: It usually is better to pm and make sure of things or just find a way in without specifying who you're after.))
Kai shrugged slightly in response to the question. "Not exactly sure myself.. but my home wasn't safe anymore." He briefly glanced back at Kit, then at Falcon and Katie, and at Miss as he was shifting his gaze back to the road.

Kit blinked once and glanced behind them nervously. It felt like something big was headed their way and it gave her the shivers but she had to trust these people. If they were who they claimed to be, then it would be safe.
Say, I know of a hideout on the outskirts of the city. To my knowledge, it's still unknown to the military. We could try that place.
She said to Kai over the wind.

((oh...i apologize. normally i write quite a bt more for a bio...oops. and what i meant by it didnt fit the story is that you sort of appeared out of nowhere, not that it didnt make perfect sense that you were following me.
EXPANDED BIO: kiana lives on her own up in the mountains and doesnt know there are other halfbreeds until she comes down to stock up on supplies one time and happens to smell one of them(that's how she came into the story, she saw emily outside the shelter near the beginning). she was born in a lab, like the rest of them, but she was one of the original half-breeds, before the program started to get more developed. my human parent happened to be one of the scientists and ended up being more than a little sentimental over me. they set fire to the lab and helped me and my siblings escape, though he died and my siblings were recaptured. now that she knows there are other half breeds, she is seeking help to go to new york, where the lab was, and try to rescue her flockmates(kinda sorta part of what we're doing now)
does that make a little more sense now? i apologize for adding to the confusion))

((Still working on English projects-- brain fried but as I said I am following along as much as I can.. One thing I'd like to say about the popping out of nowhere--although she has not posted before, it could be that she was following and spying on Kiana.. Since half breeds have a knack for finding one another she could have been watching at a distance.. or following your tracks whether it be in the sky or on ground... n.n;; as far as a program--there was no program.. not yet anyways.. that's why the military is trying to catch all the half breeds the scientists were on their own...))

((I'm so sorry guys, my mother is going to be visiting for a week or so, my posting will be a tad spotty until next Thursday but I'll try to post at least once a day.))
Morgan's eyebrows jumped up towards her hairline, "You're S.S.?" She knelt again but this time behind Lynn, untying her, "Sargent Morgan Gainey, Marine Corps. What are you doing here? I wasn't told about any foreign ops running parallel to mine."
((like I told Watchcat13 in a PM I'll be going back and reworking my first post. It was originally way to big and I ended up cutting out a lot that would probably have made it much more digestible. I'll do this when I have the time.))

Kai thought for a second, "It really isn't up to me.. Falcon, Miss, you two want to stop at Kit's hideout or keep moving?" He said as he glanced over his shoulder, knowing the wind would carry his voice so the two of them would hear him well enough.

((program was purely for lack of a better term. how about science experiment, top secret, one each?))
kiana came down to reun alongside the motorcycle for a minute, though it wasnt really running. she kept her wings half opened and angled to keep her speed up. she was going fast enough for take off, but she was too low to glide, so her feet only touched about every ten feet or so. "we'll need to stop just outside the city to get our bearings anyway, not to mention to greet our new member a little better. kit, just how far inside the city limits is this hideout of yours?

Kit thought for a moment and then replied to Kiana.
About twenty kilometers out. Just far enough that it's hidden in the forest but close enough we can go back for provisions if we need.
She said and looked at the pavement speeding past. She felt slightly dizzy and held onto Kai's pack a bit tighter.

After listening to the decision Kai felt the slight change in the pressure on his back and glanced at Kit as she tightened her grip of the bag. "..try closing your eyes or just avoid looking at the ground, see if you feel a bit better." He then kept a closer watch on the road to try to avoid ice or anything that might make his passenger's stomach lurch..
